If this is your first rodeo with a Philadelphia Eagles training camp and preseason, there's no need to worry. You're in for a treat. The info will be endless. There are seemingly 500 podcasts, another 100 publications, and 50 television shows.
Sit up straight, rookies. You can trust and believe that one of two things will happen. You'll either develop a sweet tooth because of all the info, or you'll be overwhelmed with so much information by the second preseason game.

Two Eagles land on an NFL Under-25 Team, along with three stars from rival franchises
As training camp gets underway, we've seen more rankings and all-star teams than we know what to do with. When you think you've seen it all, someone comes up with something else.
This time around, Around The NFL writer Nick Shook introduces his All-Under-25 Team. Five members of the NFC East make the cut. That includes two Philadelphia Eagles, Nakobe Dean and Jalen Carter.
"When you turn on Carter's tape, it's impossible to not notice his blend of power, speed and pure force, especially when he's rushing the passer. Carter is incredibly gifted in this department and served as a key part of an Eagles defense that overwhelmed opponents en route to a Super Bowl LIX triumph. There is room for him to improve against the run, but he has the tools. With a Pro Bowl to his name and a small portion of Defensive Player of the Year votes in 2024, Carter has already landed on the national radar. Expect him to stay there."
There isn't a Birds fan who will find fault with Shook's take. Dean has battled injuries, so it's nice to see him on the list as one of the linebackers. Here's the reasoning behind his addition.
"After serving as a rotational player for two seasons, Dean stepped into a full-time role in 2024 and flourished, racking up 128 tackles, three sacks, four passes defensed and one interception. His jump in production was remarkable enough to earn him a few Comeback Player of the Year votes, and while he could still improve in coverage, Dean proved the ball-chasing instincts that he displayed at Georgia were still in him last season. As a defender with three pro campaigns under his belt before his 25th birthday, Dean might be seen as a bit of a late bloomer, but better late than never."
Joining Carter and Dean on this roster are three rivals: guard Tyler Smith (Dallas), wide receiver Malik Nabers (New York), and the quarterback of this squad, Jayden Daniels (Washington). It's a unique blend of talent. One thing is sure. If this were a real squad, opposing coaches wouldn't enjoy any rest before playing them.

At this point, the Eagles know what Brown brings to the table. Since joining the team via trade away from the Tennessee Titans, Brown has been one of the most dominant wideouts in the game. During the 2022 season, Brown caught 88 passes for a career-high 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns. In 2023, he came down with a career-high 106 catches, while producing 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns. With just 13 games played last year, due to setbacks, Brown managed to just crack the 1,000-yard mark with 67 catches. He racked up another seven touchdowns to add to his 49 total for his career. Fresh off a Super Bowl victory, the Eagles played longer than most of the league last year. Some additional rest and recovery surely won't hurt. Soon, the Eagles will fire up their 2025 preseason run. When they take the field against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night, it's unclear if Brown will get the nod to play or not. Crystal Palace learn first Conference League opponents as appeal hearing looms
Crystal Palace's first Conference League play-off opponent has been revealed, despite their involvement in the competition still being unconfirmed. The Eagles qualified for the Europa League by winning the FA Cup last season, but were demoted to UEFA's third-tier competition after falling foul of multi-club ownership rules due to John Textor's investments in Lyon. Textor has since sold his stake in Crystal Palace. Nottingham Forest have been promoted to fill their place, but Palace have appealed UFEA's ruling. They will head to the Court of Arbitration for Sport for a hearing on August 8, with a decision set to be announced on August 11. Should they fail in their appeal, though, they will remain in the Conference League, and their first qualifying opponent has now been revealed. The Eagles will face either Fredrikstad or Midtjylland in a two-legged tie, the winner of which will move on to the competition's league phase. Fredrikstad and Midtjylland are due to meet in the third Europa League qualifying round on August 7 and 10, with the loser stepping down to face Palace. The Eagles will host the first leg of the Conference League play-off at Selhurst Park on August 21, with the reverse fixture set for August 28. These dates are subject to change. Fredrikstad, situated south of Oslo, currently sit seventh in the Eliteserien, while Midtjylland, who knocked Hibernian out of Europa League qualifying in July, sit fourth in the Danish Superliga. Should they contest it, Palace could become the third English side to win the Conference League after West Ham in 2022-23 and Chelsea in 2024-25.
