This past weekend, ANGEL'S ENVY introduced its new summer campaign with a pickleball street festival, exclusive merch collab, and a celebrity exhibition match featuring model and brand partner Venita Aspen
HAMILTON, Bermuda, July 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- ANGEL'S ENVY® officially launched its summer-long Daycap campaign with a vibrant celebration in downtown Louisville. The Louisville Downtown Pickleball Street Festival, sponsored by ANGEL'S ENVY, invited fans to unwind with Peach Smash cocktails, community play, live music, and food.
The event marked the debut of ANGEL'S ENVY's latest campaign, centered around the Daycap – a moment to pause, connect and toast an achievement. The brand recently released a new ad series featuring three narrative videos, each showcasing a different take on the Daycap occasion. Whether after a match or a meeting, the Daycap is that earned moment to gather with friends and raise a glass.
The festival, hosted by Louisville Downtown Partnership in collaboration with Goodbounce Pickleball Yard, transformed Main Street in front of the ANGEL'S ENVY Distillery into an outdoor pickleball venue in the heart of downtown Louisville. Highlights included a celebrity exhibition match between ANGEL'S ENVY brand partner Venita Aspen (Bravo's Southern Charm) and WAVE Listens Live host Sean Baute, plus competitive tournaments, open play, and a Peach Smash bar serving the brand's signature summer cocktail. Guests also enjoyed exclusive merch, giveaways, photo opportunities, and a Daycap experience inside the ANGEL'S ENVY Distillery, complete with games, cocktails, and more.
"I was so excited to team up with ANGEL'S ENVY," said Venita Aspen. "I've recently been exploring the world of bourbon, and style is at the heart of everything I do - so when I was approached for this project, it was an immediate yes! As a Charleston native who's worked with Short Court, a hometown favorite, this partnership alongside ANGEL'S ENVY felt like a natural fit. Seeing the community come together around pickleball, embrace the Daycap, and celebrate with friends in style — all while enjoying thoughtfully crafted bourbon cocktails like the Peach Smash— was the perfect way to kick off the summer."
As part of the launch, ANGEL'S ENVY introduced a limited-edition pickleball capsule collection in partnership with Short Court, the Charleston-based pickleball apparel and equipment brand known for blending classic tennis aesthetics with a modern twist. The co-branded paddles and hats were designed for both on and off the court and are now available at ANGEL'S ENVY Distillery and online via shortcourtsports.com.
"At Short Court, we've always embraced a 'play, then après' attitude, and we love Angel's Envy for their spirited take on our new favorite summer ritual: the Daycap, best enjoyed with a courtside Peach Smash cocktail," says Short Court co-founder Neil Thomson.
"We're excited to partner with Short Court and our brand partner Venita Aspen to bring the Daycap occasion to life," said Gigi DaDan, General Manager of ANGEL'S ENVY. "Introducing the Daycap to consumers across the country allows us to celebrate that earned moment to relax and enjoy a well-crafted drink - an invitation to cap off the day and kick off the night. Through this partnership, we're celebrating the joy of unwinding with a premium experience that feels well deserved."
ANGEL'S ENVY will continue to bring Daycap moments to life in select cities, including:
ANGEL'S ENVY Peach Smash Daycap Takeovers in Louisville: Consumers can experience Daycap at Goodbounce Pickleball Yard's waterfront venue, as well as at Five Iron Golf, Bar Vetti, and Galaxie in Louisville.
Craft Your Daycap: The ANGEL'S ENVY Distillery will offer a 90-minute Peach Smash cocktail class, bookable through the ANGEL'S ENVY website.
Charleston Sampling Event: ANGEL'S ENVY will host a Daycap-themed experience in Charleston, SC in the fall to celebrate the occasion and the merch collaboration.

Scheana Shay Defends Brock Davies' Involvement With Older Kids

As the release of Scheana Shay's memoir, My Good Side, approaches, she's become an open book about all aspects of her life. In a recent Us Weekly cover story, the reality TV personality got candid about her husband, Brock Davies, and his 'strained relationship' with his older children from a previous marriage. During the interview, she shared details about an unaired conversation between herself and Katie Maloney about Brock's family dynamic on Vanderpump Rules season 9. 'I sat in her living room, we had some wine, and she was like, 'I just don't understand how you could be okay with Brock leaving his family,'' Scheana told Us Weekly. According to the 'Good as Gold' singer, her husband's story draws parallels to her own life, as she developed a strong bond with her stepdad because her estranged biological father left when she was young. 'And I said, 'It is more complicated than that,'' she continued. ''You don't understand all of the nuances and everything that was going on at that time. They have a very present stepfather in their life and just like I was raised by my stepfather—who is my dad, I've never even liked referring to him as my stepdad I understood.'' Scheana added that she hesitated to even bring up her biological dad while filming Vanderpump Rules because she didn't want to invalidate how her stepdad, Ron, raised her. 'I didn't want his friends at work who watched the show to question, like, 'Wait, you're not her real dad?' No, he is my real dad. He may not be my biological father, but he is my real dad,' she added. Scheana now has a 'great relationship' with her biological dad, Raul, and talks to him every week. Because of this journey, she empathizes with Brock's children, who live in Australia with their mom. 'My biological father took a step back because that was what was best for me. And as much as people want to just see Brock as a man who abandoned his family—I know that's how it looks from the outside—he was 19 and 20 years old when he had kids. Staying in a toxic relationship wasn't going to be what was best for them,' Scheana told Us Weekly. The Bravo star 'genuinely hopes' that his kids can build a relationship with Brock in the same way she did with Raul, and is open to blending their family with their four-year-old daughter, Summer. 'His kids are now 12 and 13—it's going to be up to them if they choose to have us in their lives,' Scheana added. 'We are here with open arms and an open door if they're ever ready for that.' Speaking of Brock: Scheana also broke her silence about Brock cheating on her while she was pregnant. 'It really felt like I got my karma,' she told Us Weekly, referring to her own affair with Eddie Cibrian while he was married to Brandi Glanville. 'Did I deserve for [Brock to cheat on me]? No, but I told myself that I did.' Luckily, it seems she and Brock are doing just fine and working things out in therapy. 'I have a voice, and I want to use it,' she concluded. 'I am extremely proud of the woman I've become. I am not that 21-year-old girl chasing boys around clubs anymore.'

Brit Eady Officially Exits ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta' After 1 Season, #RHOA Reveals Reunion Dress In Fiery Farewell Post—'I Choose ME'

Bravo-suing Brit Eady is officially parting ways with The Real Housewives of Atlanta after her first and only season, but not before fully flaunting the dress she planned to wear at the #RHOAReunion. 'NO BRIT, NO REUNION,' she captioned a video of her gold-gilded gown. Source: Paras Griffin / Getty On July 14, the 37-year-old TV personality and insurance agent announced via Instagram that she would be leaving the show for good and thanked fans for their support throughout the ups and downs of Season 16. 'I want to thank everyone who supported me, my friends, my followers, my amazing team, and everyone who defended my name,' the star captioned a slideshow that captured her wearing a stunning gold and silver shimmering gown by Vietnam-based designer Nguyễn Tiến Truyển, presumably what she would have worn had she attended the reunion on July 13. Eady said she decided to walk away from the show to protect her 'peace over destroying' her 'mental health.' She continued: 'It's very easy to say what I should have done, when most have not walked a day in my shoes,' she continued. 'I choose ME, and a lot of ppl can't say they choose themselves.' Eady endured a lot after her extreme fallout with former # RHOA star Kenya Moore. In June 2024, during the opening of her hair spa, Moore displayed a large poster featuring a sexually explicit image of a woman performing oral sex, claiming it was Eady. The shocking display, which occurred amid a feud between the two, led many to believe the woman in the image was Eady, an allegation she has firmly denied. As a result, Eady chose not to attend the season reunion. Moore was suspended and ultimately exited the series following an internal investigation. As previously reported, in the aftermath, Eady filed a $20 million lawsuit against Bravo, NBCUniversal, and production companies True Original and Endemol Shine North America, accusing them of defamation and emotional harm. The lawsuit further alleges that Eady was never shown the photo before the episode's airing, despite asking repeatedly. In her post shared Monday, Eady revealed that she was still 'healing' from the drama that she experienced on the show. 'I still have a lot of healing left to do, but you can't heal in the same place that made you sick.' She added, 'I don't owe anyone closure, I only owe myself to do what's best for me. My journey here is done.' To show off a bit, Eady flaunted her stunning gown once more in a follow-up post, with a caption that read, 'NO BRIT. NO REUNION.' Do you think Brit Eady made the right decision by leaving RHOA ? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section.
