31 Iranians martyred in Zionist attack on east Azerbaijan province
Tehran – Saba:
Governor of East Azerbaijan Province in Iran Bahram Sarmast announced on Saturday that the Zionist regime's aggression has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 30 military personnel and members of the Defense Forces, in addition to a member of the Red Crescent, while 55 others were wounded.
The Iranian Tasnim News Agency quoted Sarmast as saying that the Zionist attacks began in the early hours of Friday morning and have so far targeted 19 different locations in several cities in the province.
He explained that among these targeted locations were 12 sites around the city of Tabriz, including military and civilian centers, in addition to two points each in Bostanabad and Shabester, and one point each in Azarshahr, Maragheh, and Turkmenchay.
The governor pointed out that the Iranian armed forces had carried out, since yesterday afternoon, qualitative retaliatory attacks against enemy offensive sites and equipment, which led to a clear change in the field equations, a development that is likely to confuse the calculations of international players and the usurping Zionist entity.
