Sarah Myatt, who acted for Peter Sullivan to quash his murder conviction
Sarah Myatt, a solicitor-advocate at the law firm Switalskis, represented Peter Sullivan as the Court of Appeal quashed his conviction for murdering a woman in 1986. Sullivan, who is now 68, had spent 38 years in prison before being freed because of fresh DNA evidence in what is thought to be the UK's longest miscarriage of justice case.

AN 11-year-old boy who died in a horror minibus crash has been pictured for the first time. Othniel Adoma was killed in the incident, along with another child, aged six, on the M4 at junction 10 on May 11. 3 3 3 Cops have now confirmed his name and released several photos of the tragic child. Halifax crash: Two women arrested for drug driving
Two women have been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a crash between two cars which left an 18-year-old critically injured. The teenager was driving a black Citroen C1 when it was in collision with a grey BMW near Halifax just after 20:00 BST on Yorkshire Police said the BMW had been travelling on Hopwood Lane towards Queens Road when it collided with the Citroen, which was coming out of the lane from Gibraltar Road. Three passengers from the Citroen were also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Police said the BMW left the left the road after the collision and crashed into the front of a women who were in the BMW, both aged 25, were treated in hospital and have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs. They remain in custody and enquiries into the incident are ongoing, police said. Anyone who witnessed the collision or the circumstances leading up to it, particularly anyone with relevant dashcam footage, is asked to contact the roads policing unit. Teenager dies in Barrow crash as driver of second car arrested
A teenage passenger has died in a crash and the driver of the car has been airlifted to Audi S4 and Volkswagen Up collided on the A5087 Coast Road at Rampside, Barrow, in Cumbria, at about 13:00 BST on passenger in the Volkswagen, a man in his late teens, was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver, also in his late teens, was airlifted to hospital in Preston, Cumbria Police driver of the Audi, a 20-year-old man from Barrow, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving whilst over the prescribed limit of a specified drug, but has been released pending further investigation.
