Vastu Shastra offers a few simple, time-tested remedies to attract and retain wealth, most effective when applied in the right direction and manner
Everyone dreams of a home where wealth is abundant and prosperity never fades. Yet, despite hard work, savings can slip away, either through rising expenses or money simply not lasting.
Vastu Shastra and certain religious beliefs suggest that simple, time-tested remedies can help attract and retain wealth. Easy to follow yet powerful in effect, these practices work best when applied in the right direction and manner. Astrologer Ravi Parashar shares practical tips to draw prosperity to your home like a magnet.
Swastika At Main Door
The main door is not just the entry and exit point of the house, it is also the gateway for positive energy and wealth. Drawing a Swastika of the correct colour according to the door's direction is believed to bring prosperity:
East-facing door: Green Swastika
North-facing door: Blue Swastika
South-facing door: Red Swastika
The locker symbolises the stability of wealth. Position it in the west direction and place some yellow mustard inside. This is believed to protect money from negative energy, remove the evil eye, and eliminate financial obstacles.
Earthen Piggy Bank
The south-west direction is associated with stability and long-term wealth. Keep a simple earthen piggy bank here and deposit coins or notes regularly. Letting children put money into it is considered especially auspicious. Over time, this helps build financial strength.
Photograph Of Lakshmi-Narayan
Position a beautiful photograph of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narayan in the west and offer daily prayers. Goddess Lakshmi is the deity of wealth and prosperity, while Lord Narayan represents protection and stability. Together, they ensure abundance. Lighting a lamp and chanting mantras during worship can further amplify the benefits.
Ganga Jal
The north-east corner is considered the most sacred and auspicious. Keeping Ganga Jal (water) here in your place of worship is believed to increase positive energy, bring mental peace, and maintain spiritual balance. Ensure the water is changed regularly to keep it fresh.
