Kalpataru IPO launch next week; focus on sub- ₹10 crore housing in MMR and Pune

Mumbai-based real estate developer Kalpataru, which is set to launch its Initial Public Offering (IPO) next week, announced that it will continue to focus on key markets including the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, and Hyderabad, where it already has ongoing projects.
The company noted that a majority of the housing demand falls within the ₹1 crore to ₹10 crore price bracket, which aligns with its existing inventory. Of its 50 million sq. ft. portfolio, approximately 70% is priced up to ₹10 crore, with a substantial portion available for under ₹3 crore.
"The demand if we go to see today is majority in the ₹1 crore to ₹10 crore segment, and this is what our supply is. Going further, we will adapt as per the demand. However, the majority of the demand, at least in Mumbai, is for ₹1 crore to ₹10 crore," said Parag Munot, managing director, Kalpataru.
"We also have redevelopment projects in our portfolio, and we are very positive about redevelopment projects in MMR. There is no doubt that the MMR and Pune markets have good depth, but we also see depth in Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru," Munot said.

The company also has a strong presence in the premium and luxury segments of the Mumbai real estate market. Almost 95% of its portfolio is in the residential segment, and 73% is in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The company has completed over 120 projects at the group level.
In addition to the residential segment, the company has commercial real estate projects in MMR and Pune and plotted development projects in MMR and Nagpur.

The company will open its IPO on June 24 and close on June 26. The price band of the Issue has been fixed from ₹ 387 per equity share to ₹ 414 per equity share. The company plans to raise ₹1,590 crore from the IPO.

The IPO proceeds will be primarily used for debt repayment, a strategic move to strengthen the company's balance sheet. As of December 31, 2024, Kalpataru reported total assets of ₹15,562 crore.

All Time Plastics' Rs 401 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO) is witnessing mild investor enthusiasm, with shares currently trading at a 3.3% premium in the grey market over the issue price of Rs 275 on Day 3 of subscription. At its peak, the grey market premium had touched around 9%, suggesting that early excitement has eased, but investors still expect a modest gain at listing. The bulk of this demand came from retail investors, who have shown relatively higher interest compared to institutional and high-net-worth segments. The Grey Market Premium (GMP) for All Time Plastics shares currently stood at around Rs 9–10 per share as per the latest updates, reflecting a 3.3% to 3.4% premium over the IPO issue price of Rs 275. This GMP hints at a possible listing of around Rs 284–285. The IPO proceeds will primarily be utilised to repay outstanding debt worth Rs 143 crore, invest Rs 113.7 crore in new machinery for the Manekpur plant, and meet working capital and general corporate needs. Based on the upper end of the IPO price band, the stock is priced at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 30.52x and a price-to-book (P/B) ratio of 5.80x. According to a report by Canara Bank Securities, All Time Plastics' IPO has been assigned a 'Subscribe' rating, particularly suited for investors with a medium to long-term investment horizon. The brokerage highlights the company's robust export presence, well-established relationships with leading global retailers, healthy margin profile, and planned capacity expansion as key factors supporting its growth trajectory. The report also notes that, when compared to listed peers such as Shaily Engineering (trading at a P/E of 78.93x) and Cello World (P/E of 38.18x), All Time Plastics is reasonably valued at the upper end of its price the report also cautions investors about certain risks. These include the lack of long-term supply contracts with customers, exposure to raw material price fluctuations, and margin pressure from international retailers. Shreeji Shipping sets IPO price band at Rs 240-252/ share

Shreeji Shipping Global Ltd, a provider of shipping and logistics solutions for dry bulk cargo, on Monday announced a price band of Rs 240 to Rs 252 per share for its Rs 411-crore initial public offering (IPO). ADVERTISEMENT The company's maiden public issue would be available for public subscription from August 19 to 21, and the one-day bidding for anchor investors is scheduled for August 18, according to a public announcement made by Shreeji Shipping. Shreeji Shipping Global's IPO is entirely a fresh issue of 1.63 crore equity shares with no offer-for-sale (OFS) component. At the upper-end of the price band, the company is expected to garner Rs 411 crore through the public issue. The company is planning to use Rs 251.2 crore out of the IPO proceeds for acquisition of dry bulk carriers in the supramax category in the secondary market, and Rs 23 crore for repaying debt. Half of the issue size has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers, 35 per cent for retail investors and the remaining 15 per cent for non-institutional investors. The flagship company of Jamnagar-based Shreeji Group primarily focuses on non-major ports and jetties, particularly along the west coast of India. ADVERTISEMENT According to a D&B Report, cargo handled at ports in India is expected to grow at an annual rate of 10.80 per cent to 2,849 MMTs by fiscal year 2030, from 1,540 million metric tons (MMTs) in fiscal 2024.
