Bill Belichick reveals why he copies girlfriend Jordon Hudson on UNC e-mails
Jordon Hudson has become a familiar face around UNC since Bill Belichick was hired as the Tar Heels' coach.
Questions about what kind of role the 24-year-old played at the university when The Athletic obtained e-mails in April that showed Hudson's focus was primarily on social media and how things were depicted.

During a recent appearance on 'The Pivot' podcast with Ryan Clark, the former New England Patriots coach elaborated on why Hudson was copied on school e-mails, noting he wanted his girlfriend to filter through them 'because there was nobody.'
'We didn't have a sports information guy,' Belichick said. 'Because all e-mails are shared publicly, that was taken as Jordon's running the sports information department. And that also led to a narrative, which is just totally — she's not doing it. 'There was nobody to help me sort it out, so I was asking her to do it.'
This isn't the first time Belichick has discussed what exactly it is — or isn't — Hudson does at UNC. Belichick told ESPN his girlfriend has nothing to do with UNC football.
A report surfaced that Hudson was banned from UNC's football facility, but the school released a statement that denied she wasn't allowed to be around.

The relationship between the 73-year-old coach and the 24-year-old model has been in the headlines since the two went public in 2024. Hudson accompanied Belichick during an interview with CBS Mornings when she bluntly shut down a question about how they met.
After attending the Miss Maine pageant to support Hudson, Belichick now shifts his focus back to football with spring meetings and recruiting ahead of him before his first season as a college coach begins.
