Radio star Lauren Phillips, 37, brags about still fitting into her school uniform after 20 years and her prestigious accolades

Daily Mail29-05-2025

Breakfast radio star Lauren Phillips treated fans to a trip down memory lane on Wednesday when she tried on her old school uniform.
The 37-year-old Nova 100 host shared a video of herself modelling the purple ensemble, which consisted of a short pleated skirt, shirt and matching blazer.
'Screaming, it actually fits - just,' an amazed Lauren said in the caption, adding, 'Loving myself sick.'
The Jase & Lauren show star revealed she had been a prefect and middle school house captain at her old school Wesley College in the Melbourne suburb of Glen Waverley.
Posting an image of the blazer and her badges, Lauren said her mother had kept the uniform after 20 years.

Lauren's nostalgic post comes amid a planned stunt by the Nova breakfast team to 'relive' their high school years on Friday.
Nova announced on Thursday that co-host Clint Stanaway will join Lauren and Jason 'Jase' Hawkins as they broadcast their show from a bus travelling the Glenn Waverley area.
Along the way, the team planned to stop at Clint's old school Glen Waverley High and Lauren's Wesley College.
It continues a 'nostalgic kick' by the Nova breakfast team that began in February when the Jase and Lauren Show Instagram account shared a throwback snap of Lauren.
Paying tribute to all the children starting school in 2025, the photo showed the radio star looking unrecognisable in junior school at Wesley.
The photo showed Lauren flashing the camera quite the cheeky grin as she posed in her school uniform.
The future radio star looked cute-as-a-button in the snap, which also showed her adding a pop of colour to her uniform with a purple scrunchie.
It wasn't just Lauren that was given the throwback treatment either, with the account also sharing adorable childhood photos of co-hosts Jase Hawkins and Clint Stanaway.
Like Lauren, both looked almost unrecognisable in the photos, save for Jase whose cheeky grin was apparent, even as a youngster.
Clint too has undergone a bit of a transformation in the ensuing years.
His throwback photo showed him sporting a shock of blonde hair - more than a few shades lighter than his current do.
The presenter was also sporting freckles across the bridge of his nose and a wry smile.
Last year, Lauren revealed that she was left 'broken' after losing her KIIS FM job to Kyle & Jackie O after they landed a $200million expansion deal to broadcast in Melbourne.
'I was gutted. I thought that was the end of my radio career,' she told news.com.au in July.
'Late last year I was ready to leave the country and move overseas. I was like, "I'm out of here".'
When Nova approached the radio duo for a breakfast show opportunity, Lauren revealed she was initially hesitant to get on board and explained she was worried of facing the axe again.
'I had a pretty bad taste in my mouth and I was scared of that happening again,' she said.

EXCLUSIVE Heartbreaking new detail emerges about the TV presenter allegedly gunned down with his lover by his cop ex-boyfriend: 'Dream come true'

The TV presenter who was allegedly murdered with his partner by his cop ex-lover had just landed his 'dream job' in the days before he died. Former NSW Police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon, 29, is accused of shooting dead Jesse Baird, 26, and Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies, 29, at Paddington in Sydney 's eastern suburbs in February 2024. But Daily Mail Australia can now reveal Jesse had just accepted a new role as producer on reality series The Real Housewives of Sydney ahead of its third season, and was due to start in March last year. 'He had just signed on in January,' said Jesse's friend and former colleague, showbiz reporter Craig Bennett. 'He was ever so excited about it because he loved the show.' Jesse had previously worked worked as a presenter and reporter on Network 10's Studio 10, Totally Wild and Gamify, and was an AFL goal umpire. 'He'd been let go by Network 10 when Studio 10 was axed in November 2023,' Craig said. 'But Jesse was great on camera, but also an accomplished producer, and he was immeasurably excited about this new frontier on Housewives. 'He never got to see that dream realised. He would have gone a long way in reality television.' Jesse had produced Studio 10 segments involving Craig and TV doyenne Denise Drysdale - and Craig joked that after wrangling 'two divas like us', a cast of Sydney housewives would have been a walk in the park. 'Denise is not morning person, but when she was working with Jesse she just melted,' he recalled. 'He would have taken to Real Housewives life like a duck to water.' This comes as Daily Mail Australia reported Lamarre-Condon has offered to reveal new details about the case to investigators and prosecutors. The 29-year-old has not entered pleas to two counts of murder but says he has information about a second person he claims helped dump Mr Davies and Mr Baird's remains, according to a source close to Lamarre-Condon. 'Lamarre-Condon wants to do the right thing for the families and is happy to assist investigators with information about who else played a part in the incident,' the source claimed. 'So far both the DPP and the officer in charge have failed to reply to the offer made by Lamarre's legal team for assistance.' The source claimed that a witness had told investigators they had waited at the fence line of the Bungonia property where the bodies were first dumped for 15 to 20 minutes. Phone records indicated Lamarre-Condon and the witness were at the farm for almost two hours, the source claimed. Police also located two sets of white overalls at the scene where bodies were located which indicates it was a two-person job,' the source said. A NSW Police spokeswoman said: 'As this matter is before the court, we are unable to comment.' A spokeswoman for the DPP said the same thing. Lamarre-Condon has spent more than a year in prison since the shootings, which were allegedly the result of a months-long campaign of 'predatory behaviour' targeting Mr Baird. The onetime celebrity chaser reportedly briefly dated Mr Baird before the TV presenter began a relationship with Mr Davies. Suspicions of foul play were raised after possessions belonging to the dead men were found in a skip bin in the southern Sydney suburb of Cronulla, leading police to Mr Baird's blood-smeared terrace. The case returned to Downing Centre Local Court last month after confidential discussions between prosecutors and the alleged killer's Legal Aid lawyer Alex Curnick. Both sides agreed 'things are progressing,' magistrate Megan Greenwood was told. A forensic psychiatrist's report was also tendered after Lamarre-Condon was assessed in previous weeks. Lamarre-Condon has not entered pleas to two counts of domestic violence-related murder, and one count of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence. He was sacked by the NSW Police Force in March 2024. Lamarre-Condon joined the force in 2019 and previously ran a celebrity blog, posing in photos with dozens of A-listers including Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles.

Inside Martha Stewart's disastrous trip Down Under where the American TV star raged about Sydney

Martha Stewart didn't have the best experience at Sydney 's Vivid Festival last month, according to reports. The controversial 83-year-old American celebrity was Down Under to present a talk entitled In Conversation with Martha Stewart as part of the event. And according to insiders, the cookbook author was none too impressed with her venue - the famed ICC theatre, which has hosted stars such as Elton John and Cher. Sources reported to Confidential on Tuesday that Martha was unhappy that she had to use a hand held mic throughout her 90-minute talk. However, insiders told the publication that Martha had refused to use a headset for fear of messing up her hairdo. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. She also rejected the option of using a lapel mic, reportedly because she was concerned it might cause damage to her jacket. Meanwhile, the publication also reported that Stewart disapproved of the vehicle that had been arranged for her use because the window tinting was not dark enough. Stewart also shared a gripe about Sydney airport, reported insiders, with the entrepreneur complaining that the terminal was 'too big' and that she had to walk 'too far'. Stewart did find something to her liking during her trip. The culinary guru skipped over to the eastern suburbs for a nibble and shopping and elected to dine at Totti's, a mecca for local and international celebrities, reportedly after a friend's recommendation. The Merivale-owned restaurant, known for its famous bread and small plates, as well as its signature rich pasta dishes, is beloved by the eastern suburbs in-crowd. Given its reputation as one of Sydney's best restaurants, we asked around what America's kitchen queen thought of her dining experience. And, after a bit of wild goose chase, we were able to find a diner who had been at the restaurant at the time and just so happened to overhear Martha's musings. 'She was impressed. She had a great time and ate everything,' they said, adding that she 'was really lovely', 'super friendly' and asked the staff 'lots of questions'. The cookbook author 'enjoyed a large selection of antipasti' accompanied by the signature wood-fired bread, but our spy didn't stay long enough to see if she sampled any of the mains. She had 'Sanpellegrino sparkling water' while she ate, said our source, and 'seemed very interested in the produce, asking the waiters lots of questions.' Totti's fast made a name for itself as the place to be among Sydney's elites after it first opened its doors at The Royal Bondi in December 2018. The highly regarded menu, created by executive chef Mike Eggert, features an array of Italian dishes from pasta, antipasti and its famous 'puffy' wood-fired bread. Totti's interior was inspired by an Italian taverna, featuring old timber chairs, paired-back walls and huge olive trees filling out the lavish courtyard. Just hours before Martha made a surprise appearance at Totti's, she was seen arriving at Sydney airport in the early hours of the morning. She flew in from the US ahead of her Vivid Sydney In Conversation event, and was greeted by airport staff holding a sign which bore her surname Stewart. The home-cooking icon was all smiles as she stopped to meet fans outside her terminal, toting a personalised 'MARTHA' travel bag.
