Pregnant mom and daughter are due 10 weeks apart—so they recreated Father of the Bride in real life
Annicka and her mom, Micka, are expecting baby girls just 10 weeks apart. Gustin is 25, and Perry is 46. They've been sharing the joys and surprises of pregnancy together. It's rare enough to be pregnant with your best friend. To experience it with your mom? That's something out of a movie.
So, they made one.

The duo recently recreated the iconic slapstick workout scene from the 1995 Father of the Bride Part II, where Annie and her mom, Nina, go through pregnancy side by side. In the film, the two wobble through a hilariously dramatic prenatal aerobics class, complete with matching outfits and plenty of synchronized chaos.
With Annicka's husband, Sean, stepping in as a very convincing 'Franck,' the trio suited up in 90s-inspired outfits and mimicked the hilarious routine from the film—squats, synchronized stepping, and all.
In their joint Instagram post, the caption read:'Getting pregnant at the same time as my mom was the easy part. Finding Franck was the hard part.'
They added,
'Happy we could seize this once in a lifetime opportunity to recreate this iconic scene from Father of the Bride 2 .'
The video is fun, but what stands out most is the closeness between the two.
While rare, shared pregnancies like this can offer unique emotional support. Experts say maternal closeness during pregnancy can ease anxiety and strengthen intergenerational bonds.
'We have been having too much fun being pregnant at the same time,' they wrote. And their joy is contagious.
Commenters flooded the video with love, admiration, and plenty of double-takes:
'Okay, but who is the mom and who is the daughter?! Those are some fantastic genes!'
wrote @storyofthemomlife. Another, @rebeccaburdcoaching, added, '
This is AMAZING!! Congratulations to you both!
'
For Annicka, this pregnancy has been shaped in a powerful way by having her mom close through every stage.

My mom and I are living a DREAM! We're both pregnant with baby girls
. Grateful to have my mom to lean on, to ask all my questions to, to share my anxieties with and to prepare for birth with,' she shared in a May Instagram update.
Perry, who is due this week with her 11th baby (and her seventh girl), first announced her pregnancy back in February. Annicka followed in April, capturing the moment she told her mom and siblings in a joyful family reveal.
Now, with just weeks until they meet their babies, the two are soaking up this experience together.
Pregnancy looks different for every family, and there's no one right way to prepare. But connection, conversation, and shared experience can ease anxiety and make the journey feel a little more grounded.
Looking to build your own support system? Start here:
Ask about your loved ones' pregnancy stories. What helped them? What surprised them?
Document your journey with someone close to you, even if you're in different life stages
Don't underestimate the power of laughter, nostalgia, or simply moving together—yes, even in 90s workout gear
Because sometimes, the best kind of preparation is knowing you're not doing it alone.

Mario Kart World and other Switch 2 games are 10 percent off
I wasn't expecting to see any deals on Switch 2 games for a while. Even though the console is currently much easier to find in stock, game discounts — especially ones on first-party Nintendo launch games — aren't the norm. However, you can get 10 percent off on the likes of Mario Kart World, and the Switch 2 editions of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild. Sure, these are small price drops, but anything that brings them closer to the cost of last-gen Switch games is a nice deal in my book. Mario Kart World is an excellent game to start your Switch 2 game library, featuring a bunch of new tracks, along with some new moves, weapons, and characters, plus an open roam mode that's filled with stuff to do. The Switch 2 editions of Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild make these already-great games even better with graphical improvements. Both games run at 60 frames per second and feature higher resolution graphics, not to mention support for Zelda Notes, which lets you turn on what is effectively GPS mode so you can more easily find shrines and Korok seeds. Today's NYT Strands hints, spangram and answers for Tuesday, July 29 are coming right up. How To Play Strands The New York Times' Strands puzzle is a play on the classic word search. It's available on the NYT website and in the NYT Games app alongside the likes of Wordle and Connections (which we also cover in daily guides at Forbes Gaming). There's a new game of Strands to play every day. The game will present you with a six by eight grid of letters. The aim is to find a group of words that have something in common, and you'll get a clue as to what that theme is. When you find a theme word, it will remain highlighted in blue. You'll also need to find a special word called a spangram. This tells you what the words have in common. The spangram links at least two sides of the board, but it may not start or end there. While the theme words will not be a proper name, the spangram can be a proper name. When you find the spangram, it will remain highlighted in yellow. Every letter is used once in one of the theme words and spangram. You can connect letters vertically, horizontally and diagonally, and it's possible to switch directions in the middle of a word. If you're playing on a touchscreen, double tap the last letter to submit your guess. If you find three valid words of at least four letters that are not part of the theme, you'll unlock the Hint button. Clicking this will highlight the letters that make up one of the theme words. Be warned: You'll need to be on your toes. Sometimes you'll need to fill the missing word(s) in a phrase. On other days, the game may revolve around synonyms or homophones. The difficulty will vary from day to day, and the puzzle creators will try to surprise you sometimes. What Is Today's Strands Hint? Scroll slowly! Radiohead Pushes Several Decades-Old Titles To New Chart Peaks
Radiohead's 'Let Down' climbs Billboard charts thanks to viral popularity, helping OK Computer reach ... More a new peak while 'Creep' hits 100 weeks globally. Musician Thom Yorke, of group Radiohead, performs, Chicago, Illinois, August 3, 2001. (Photo by) 2025 has turned out to be a big year for the band Radiohead, even though no brand new music has emerged, and none is expected at the moment. The group suddenly and unexpectedly went viral with the tune 'Let Down,' which has become a surprise hit. The decades-old composition has long been a favorite among fans, but only recently has it reached a more mainstream audience, thanks to platforms like TikTok. The popularity of 'Let Down' has been growing for weeks now. As it soars on several charts in the United States, the album it's featured on manages to hit a new high point at the same time. 'Let Down' Hits a New All-Time High At the moment, 'Let Down' appears on four Billboard rankings. It rises on two of them and declines — but only by one spot each — on the other pair. The track surges from No. 25 to No. 23 on the Alternative Streaming Songs list in just its second week on the tally, which ranks the most streamed alternative tunes across the country. The Radiohead cut reaches a never-before-seen peak as it improves its standing. The tune also returns to its previously-set high point on the general Hot Rock Songs chart, inching upward from No. 13 to No. 12. "Let Down" Boosts OK Computer's Chart Performance Continued consumption of 'Let Down' in particular helps OK Computer — the Radiohead album that the track is featured on — ascend. OK Computer lifts one spot on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, settling at No. 37. The band's third full-length project hits a new peak on the Billboard ranking 10 weeks into its resurgence, but decades after it was first released. At the same time, the critically-acclaimed studio effort holds at No. 153 on the Billboard 200, while descending slightly on the Top Alternative Albums roster. On that latter list, OK Computer reached its No. 19 high just last week and now dips two rungs to No. 21. As 'Let Down' Rises, 'Creep' Reaches a New Milestone As 'Let Down' reaches a brand new peak position, another Radiohead classic, 'Creep,' continues to stand out as perhaps the band's most celebrated tune. That cut declines slightly on both of Billboard's global rankings, but it does so as it reaches 100 weeks on the two tallies. That's a first for Radiohead, and it seems that renewed attention being paid to 'Let Down' has benefited more than just one track.
