‘No means no': Victorians don't want a Voice treaty
This comes as Victoria is expected to introduce its own Voice to Parliament to advise on policies affecting Indigenous Australians.
The Herald Sun has revealed the taxpayer-funded body is being pitched as a state-based version of the federal government's failed Voice referendum in 2023.
Ms Panahi urged the Victorian Liberal Party to 'find their spine' and principles and stand strongly against the recommendations from the Yoorrook Justice Commission report and the 'divisive race politics of the left'.
'If the Liberals want a chance at forming government in 2026, they need to be loudly, unequivocally, and unapologetically opposed to the Voice and treaty. No means no,' she said.
