Kanye West storms out of Piers Morgan interview after arguing over rapper's X follower count: ‘Sniveling little coward'
Kanye West lost his cool and ripped out his earpiece before storming out of an interview with Piers Morgan on Tuesday, May 6 — and the former 'Good Morning Britain' host had something to say about his abrupt exit.
Taking to social media post-interview, Morgan, 60, ripped West, 47, a new one.
'UPDATE: I interviewed Kanye West again today. As I expected, given what I've said about him recently, it didn't last long or go well,' Morgan captioned a screenshot of West from the unpleasant sit-down.
9 Kanye West and Piers Morgan's interview got heated.

9 The pair argued over how many followers on X the rapper has.
'This was him right before he stomped off like a big baby before I could ask him why he's become a vile, Hitler-loving, Nazi-slathering, anti-Semitic p—k,' he added before sharing the footage on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored.'
Hours later, the famous presenter shared footage showing what set West off.
Morgan was gassing the rapper up, mentioning West has 32 million X followers while trying to explain the power his words have on his fanbase.

The 'All of the Lights' musician's anti-Semitic comments on X have been making headlines for months, with West even going on rants while wearing a KKK hood.
However, West seemingly took issue with the number of followers Morgan claimed he had. At the time of this post, the rapper has 33.3 million followers on X.
'You're not gonna take inches off my d–k, bro,' West interrupted before arguing over the amount of his X followers.
9 Piers addressed the madness when he dropped the full interview on YouTube.

'I'm a gift,' the artist added. He then jumbled himself into the likes of Michael Jackson and John Lennon.
When Morgan tried to steer West back on track, all hell broke loose.
A pissed off West insisted Morgan wasn't 'taken accountability' and ended the interview by saying, 'This is what you get for now. We can circle back when you can count.'
The rapper removed his earpiece and stormed out, leaving his colleague named Sneako to awkwardly pick up the pieces.
9 He did not mince his words about the controversial superstar either.

Sneako, however, also grew frustrated with Morgan's line of questioning and ditched the interview after the British news host repeatedly called West 'a sniveling little coward.'
'A massive d–k,' Morgan described West in the caption of the video.
The 'Donda' rapper has been in Majorca, Spain, which is where he took his virtual interview with Morgan.
Despite going to blow with West, Morgan defended having the controversial artist on his show.
9 Piers Morgan previously interviewed Kanye West in 2022.

9 At the time, West defended his anti-Semitic words.

9 Piers Morgan said he wants to hold Kanye West accountable for his actions.

'The reason I wanted to get him on was because I don't think anyone holds him to account for anything he does on X, and in fact, he deliberately breaches all of X's rules, and yet he does it with impunity and is allowed to do it, whereas millions of other accounts get suspended for far less offences [sic],' Morgan said.
'So I was going to ask him directly, why I mentioned his X following, I was going to ask him about what he puts on X and why he does this? Why he continually attacks Jewish people, why he continually celebrates Adolf Hitler?'
The Post reached out to West's rep for comment.
This isn't the first time Morgan and West exchanged words.
The pair also had a heated exchange in 2022 after West declared he was 'going death con 3' on Jewish people.

New Yorker writer who referred to Sydney Sweeney as ‘Aryan princess' deletes series of racist X posts: ‘I hate white men'
A staffer for the New Yorker who denounced Sydney Sweeney as an 'Aryan princess' has spouted anti-white and antisemitic rhetoric in social media posts — before scrubbing her account after being called out on Friday. Doreen St. Felix, 33, had written several racist posts on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, including that 'whiteness fills me with a lot of hate' and that 'the holocaust is the worst thing to happen to black people.' The unearthed inflammatory tweets date back to 2014 — three years before the Haitian-American journalist was hired by the left-leaning magazine run by longtime editor David Remnick. Advertisement 6 Doreen St. Felix, 33, deleted her social media on Friday after inflammatory posts were unearthed. X/dstfelix St. Felix deleted her X account after her past comments resurfaced following her recent article for the Conde Nast-owned publication in which she criticized Sweeney's American Eagle campaign. In the 1,040-word piece that ran Aug. 2, she accused Sweeney's fans of wanting to 'recruit her as a kind of Aryan princess' and declared there were 'plenty of reasons' to dislike the ad. The ad has been panned by the 'woke' mob for its play on words that boasts about the blonde star's 'great jeans.' Advertisement However, it was St. Felix who was feeling the heat after X users — including conservative journalist Chris Rufo — flooded The New Yorker's site with screenshots of her past tweets. In one tweet targeting white men dated in December 2014, St. Felix wrote: 'You all are the worst. Go nurse your f–king Oedipal complexes and leave the earth to the browns and the women.' The resurfaced messages revealed a pattern of racially charged commentary spanning multiple years. Advertisement 6 St. Felix penned a provocative article for the New Yorkers in which she made reference to Sydney Sweeney as an 'Aryan princess.' American Eagle In one post, St. Felix admitted she 'writes like no white is watching.' Another declared that she 'would be heartbroken if I had kids with a white guy.' Her antipathy extended to broader cultural claims, including assertions that white people's poor hygiene 'literally started the bubonic plague, lice, syphilis.' Her posts also contained provocative references to the Nazi slaughter of six million Jews. In one tweet, she described what she called 'the holocaust gesture,' writing that 'it's tricknological, when white people invoke the holocaust' because it 'allows them to step out of their whiteness and slip on fake oppression.' 6 Sweeney is starring in an ad campaign for American Eagle Outfitters. American Eagle She also wrote that 'the holocaust birthed trauma studies' and claimed it 'explains a lot about why we get so many things wrong about how trauma comes.' In another post, she claimed 'the tolerability of racism is linked to how its acted out on brown bodies. The holocaust was not tolerable bc of white victims so it ended.' 6 St. Felix scrubbed her social media on Friday. X/realchrisrufo Advertisement St. Felix could not be reached for comment after deleting her social media presence. The Post has sought comment from both Conde Nast and The New Yorker. Many of her posts were written in late 2014 against the backdrop of racial tensions that were stoked by the police-involved deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., and Eric Garner on Staten Island — both of whom were black. None of the officers involved were indicted. 6 The now-deleted posts appear to make light of the Holocaust. X/realchrisrufo Advertisement A Dec. 5, 2014, tweet referenced The Post. She wrote: 'there's a slow, second holocaust against brown people in this country and the nypost 'Supports the NYPD' so they are terrorists as well.' Social media users noted the apparent contradiction between St. Felix's past statements denouncing capitalism and her living conditions. Her listed address corresponds to a $1.3 million home in a gated Brooklyn community overlooking a marina. 6 She deleted posts declaring 'I hate white men' and calling for whiteness to be 'abolished.' Prior to her current role, she served as editor-at-large for Lenny Letter, a newsletter created by actress Lena Dunham, and worked as a culture writer for MTV News. Forbes named her to their '30 Under 30' media list in 2016. The following year, she earned finalist status for a National Magazine Award in Columns and Commentary, ultimately winning in the same category two years later in 2019.

Piers Morgan quickly backtracks after ‘mistakenly' posting photo of Trump wearing kneepads ahead of Putin summit
Piers Morgan said he thought a picture of Donald Trump wearing kneepads was a real image of the president preparing for his 'high stakes' summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, adding that he deleted the photo when he realized it was fake. The British tabloid host went on to claim that the satirical pic of Trump merely came across his social media feed and he immediately reposted it alongside well-wishes to Trump. Needless to say, Morgan faced a flood of mockery for posting the mocked-up photo of the president, something he acknowledged after deleting the image. Hours before Trump actually touched down in Alaska for the summit with Putin, which is part of an attempt by the president to secure a ceasefire agreement in the bloody Ukraine-Russia war, Morgan – who has enjoyed a long (and fraught) friendship with Trump – posted an altered picture of the president exiting Air Force One. Apparently believing this was a live photo and that the president had just landed in Anchorage, the Piers Morgan Uncensored host delivered a message of hope ahead of Trump's meeting with Putin. 'As President [Donald Trump] lands in Alaska, I wish him the very best of luck in trying to secure an end to the horrendous war in Ukraine,' Morgan tweeted. 'It's refreshing to see a U.S. president who genuinely prefers peace to war.' With the picture showing a waving Trump donning bright red kneepads, it didn't take long for Morgan to get inundated with comments from other users on X asking him if he was aware that he had shared a meme that was mocking the president. 'Did you intentionally post a photo with Trump wearing knee pads or are [you] just an idiot? Evil or idiot? Which is it?' one poster pressed Morgan, prompting the presenter to chalk it up his tweet to ignorance. 'No.. I didn't see the kneepads on that pic, so just deleted and reposted with a different pic!' Morgan replied. In response to journalist Tara Palmeri wondering what had happened because the post was 'quickly deleted,' Morgan gave a more detailed explanation. 'I saw the pic on my feed and mistakenly believed it was a live one, and didn't spot the mocked up kneepads,' he replied to Palmeri. 'I couldn't understand why so many people were laughing and raging about it. Then I realized, deleted it and reposted with another pic. My words remained the same.' It is more than a bit ironic that Morgan fell for an obviously fake photo when it was just a week ago that he trolled NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo for getting duped by a blatantly obvious deepfake video of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) purportedly delivering a House floor speech denouncing the Sydney Sweeney 'good jeans' ad. 'Oh dear @ChrisCuomo - perhaps spend less time b*tching about me and more time trying to spot obvious fakes,' Morgan tweeted at Cuomo alongside several laughing emojis. 'You got clip i didnt pay attn I wont block you for saying how easy that is, my yappy friend?' Cuomo responded at the time.

You'll punch the air from excitement but cry from how deeply tragic it is." Unless something bizarre happens with the final chapters of Season 2, Peacemaker is shaping up to be another very successful entry in James Gunn's new DCU. Our Season 2, Episodes 1 - 5 review: — IGN (@IGN) August 15, 2025 IGN reviewed the first five episodes, giving ghe new season an 8/10. "From what we've seen so far, the story of Christopher Smith and the 11th Street Kids is built around the truth of these characters. The way each of them handles the circumstances is as honest to who they are as it is riddled with creative profanity and soaked in comically drawn blood. While this season might not throw your hair back the way Season 1 did, these characters are still a blast to be around, even if it is more of the same." #Peacemaker Season 2: seen the first five episodes, and I love it! Much funnier and more violent than S1, but also far more mature in its storytelling, backed by terrific work from its cast once again (John Cena at his best). Expands the DCU in fascinating ways too. Great stuff. — Shaurya Chawla (@_ShauryaChawla) August 15, 2025 Shaurya Chawla states: "#Peacemaker Season 2: seen the first five episodes, and I love it! Great stuff." PEACEMAKER Season 2: a little slow burn, but ultimately worth the watch. Smith and Harcourt's relationship gets more needed complexity, but the rest of the 11th Street Kids are hilarious as ever. Action rocks as Season 2 leans more into DCU absurdity and vulgarity. #Peacemaker — Chris Gallardo - Reel Roller (@chrisagwrites) August 15, 2025 Chris Gallardo writes: "PEACEMAKER Season 2: a little slow burn, but ultimately worth the watch. Action rocks as Season 2 leans more into DCU absurdity and vulgarity. #Peacemaker" Though most of the reviews written for the first season are regarding the first five episodes, all are stating that there is even more violence and absurdity to love about the new "Peacemaker" chapter. Basically, if you loved the first season of Cena's crude hero, you are likely to love the new season. For more streaming news, head to Newsweek Streaming.
