
Man charged with murder of pregnant mother-of-two Sarah Montgomery
The man (28) is charged with murder and child destruction.
He is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Tributes paid to Sarah Montgomery who was 34-weeks pregnant when killed
A fundraiser has been launched to support the family of Sarah, who was 34-weeks pregnant when she was killed.
Organised by Donaghadee resident Joanne Courney and councillor Mark Brooks, the GoFundMe page for Sarah Montgomery's family has raised over £10,000.
Detectives had been granted a court extension of a further 36 hours to question the suspect.
On Monday, the force said a 42-year-old woman had also been arrested in Belfast on suspicion of assisting an offender. Earlier today police said she had been released unconditionally.
Police said both suspects were known to the victim and they were not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident.

Alexander McNab, 15, went missing while paddleboarding at Lochore Meadows in Fife on Saturday, June 28. A major search effort began and tragically his body was recovered on Sunday afternoon at around 1.20pm, reports The Record. In a statement issued through Police Scotland, Alexander's family described him as a "much-loved son, brother, grandson, cousin, friend, and boyfriend and a big part of his local community."
