EXCLUSIVE Impractical Jokers star Joe Gatto breaks silence after misconduct allegations as wife makes first public appearance
Former Impractical Jokers star Joe Gatto has broken his silence after being accused of sexual assault by a 19-year-old and inappropriate behavior by multiple teenage girls while his wife Bessy has made her first public appearance since the controversy.
After the initial allegation, the 48-year-old former television star went into treatment which he has since completed after a month.
A spokesperson for Gatto told DailyMail.com: 'Joe completed his program at a treatment center and is now continuing his work at home with his family.'
Meanwhile Joe's 43-year-old philanthropist wife stepped out in New York City at Chelsea Piers on Wednesday at NYC Second Chance Rescue's 5th Annual Gala.
Accompanied by her girl friends, Bessy was seen smiling and having a good time, according to an eyewitness who spoke to DailyMail.com.
She even posed for photos on the red carpet with adorable dogs from the non-profit organization, which she is on the board of directors for.
Joe appears to be making an effort to build a better reputation for himself in the public eye.
An insider revealed to DailyMail.com that he had donated over $10,000 to Second Chance Rescue, a non-profit organization that provides medical care to cats and dogs through their foster care system and brick-and-mortar shelter.
The sexual assault allegation against the reality star began on March 22 when a TikTok user named Joozyb claimed he assaulted her after she met him before one of his shows in Milwaukee in September 2023.
After the show, she said they continued messaging each other, adding in a now-deleted TikTok video, 'I was drunk, whatever, and he was texting me all this stuff. And, like, it was starting to get a little weird, you know.'
She claimed Gatto then put their messages on Instagram into 'vanish mode', and told her how to get to where he was staying that night.
The accuser did not go into detail about the alleged sexual assault, but said that 'some stuff happened' and shared an image of her backside with a large bruise across it, claiming: 'Here's what he did... with his TEETH.'

He has since denied the allegations and released the following statement: 'I have used poor judgment and as a result have violated the trust of the people I love most.
'But anyone who knows me at all knows full well that I wouldn't assault anyone.
'Working on myself is an ongoing process, and I am now going to take some time away from the public eye to focus my energies where I need to.'
He was then accused of 'unwanted behaviors' by a former employee, who claimed she first met him during one of his live shows when she was 15, and that by the time she turned 18 he had become 'very flirtatious.'
The employee, who previously worked for Gatto during his time on Impractical Jokers alleged that at times he 'inappropriately grabbed her' and 'asked for back massages.'
She further alleged that Gatto invited her to his room with a request to cuddle, and repeatedly asked her about her sex life.
In response to this, he shared the same public statement, denying the claims.
On March 26, it was announced that he canceled his upcoming comedy tour dates as he took time seek help at an in-patient facility. Details of where he sought treatment are still unknown at this time.
'Having taken some time to reflect, I've decided to voluntarily enter an inpatient program to continue working on myself.
'I just want to thank my friends, fans and especially my family for all of their support – never more so than over the last few days,' he said at the time.
Shortly after, DailyMail.com exclusively reported on Joe being accused of inappropriate behavior by two teenage girls.
Grace Kennedy and recent high school graduate Brianna Ochoa have shared their experience with Gatto in a 10-minute TikTok video which featured alleged messages from the comedian asking for nudes, and detailed their multiple encounters with him, the most recent taking place in December 2024.
During one of their encounters - which occurred at three of his shows - he encouraged them to kiss and lift up their tops so he could stroke their stomachs.
'Stuff started getting weird because he was telling us to kiss,' Grace said of a meeting with the TV personality that took place after one of his shows.
Brianna added: 'Basically, he told us to kiss three times in a row. Not make out or anything. Like a peck.'
She continued: 'He was being so weird and he fed me a mango with his fingers. I was sitting on the couch and he was standing above me and he was like, "Do you want a bite?" and then he fed me with his fingers and it was really awkward.'
Grace claimed he then told them to take a seat on the couch with him and 'told us to lift up our shirts, so we did,' adding: 'We couldn't not, you know.'
She continued: 'And then he asked to touch them, and that's when it started getting weird. He was stroking our bellies. He was touching our belly buttons.'
The lesbian couple claimed that he 'begged' them to come over to his hotel room in the middle of the night, but ultimately they refused.
Brianna told her followers, 'Obviously, he's not a great man, and what we should be focused on is not teenage girls going to his hotel. What we should be focused on is a 50-year-old man inviting teenage girls to hotels.' Grace added: 'Married with kids.'
Even though Bessy has yet to address the sexual assault allegations, she stepped out on Wednesday night to fulfill her duties as a member on the board of directors for Second Chance Rescue. The advisory board also includes Georgina Bloomberg and Ralph Lauren's daughter Dylan Lauren.
This year, NYC Second Chance Rescue's 5th Annual Gala honored Martha Stewart and her plastic surgeon, Dr. Dan Belkin, with the 'Angel & Hero Award' in recognition of their commitment to animal welfare.
Singer Rob Thomas also performed during the gala.
Joe and Bessy attended the organization's annual gala in the past, including the one that was held last year which was also attended by Joe and Melissa Gorga, Jason Biggs, Jenny Mollen, Don Lemon and Tim Malone.
The Long Island-based couple has been married since 2013. They briefly separated in 2022, but reconciled nearly two years later.

Singer and TikTok star Addison Rae changes her stage name
Addison Rae is now going by a new stage name. The singer and TikTok star, who just released her self-titled debut album on June 6, has dropped the name 'Rae' from her professional moniker and is now known simply as Addison. 'I said it in an interview, I was just like, 'Oh, I think I've grown past being called Addison Rae,'' Addison told host Quenlin Blackwell during a June 8 appearance on Blackwell's 'Feeding Starving Celebrities' YouTube series. 'Then the album being named 'Addison' kind of was a tie-in for that,' she added. The 'Diet Pepsi' singer, 24, said there is also a more practical reason behind her decision. 'I just am tired of also signing Addison Rae. It's really long. I just would rather sign Addison,' she said, laughing. 'And then I was like, 'Yeah, it just makes more sense because, like, it's going back to the roots really.'' Still, Addison, who was born Addison Rae Easterling, said she won't be upset if longtime friends and fans still think of her as Addison Rae. 'Whoever knows me as Addison Rae and knew me as Addison Rae will always know me as that,' she said. Addison joins a growing list of celebrities who have opted to tweak their professional names during the past year. Just last month, Angelina Jolie's 19-year-old daughter Shiloh Jolie — who'd already dropped her father Brad Pitt's surname from her own in 2024 — choreographed an original dance piece under the name Shi Joli. Former 'Teen Mom 2' star Kailyn Lowry's 15-year-old son, who was formerly known as Isaac Elliott Rivera, announced last week on his mom's 'Barely Famous' podcast that he was now going by his middle name, Elliott. Meanwhile, Malia Obama, the 27-year-old daughter of former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, has been using the professional name Malia Ann as a writer and director in Hollywood. Michelle Obama opened up about her older daughter dropping the Obama name professionally when she recently appeared on Kate and Oliver Hudson's 'Sibling Revelry' podcast. The former first lady said it was natural for young adults — especially those from famous families — to want to 'push away' from their family name at some point. 'You're trying to distinguish yourself,' she explained, adding, 'It is very important for my kids to feel like they've earned what they are getting in the world, and they don't want people to assume that they don't work hard, that they're just naturally handed things,' she added. ' 'They're very sensitive to that. They want to be their own people.' 'Malia, who started in film, and it being her first project, she took off her last name, and we were like, 'They're still going to know it's you, Malia,'' she added with a laugh. 'But we respected the fact that she's trying to make her way.'

Rolling Stones members pay tribute following death of Beach Boys' Brian Wilson
Wilson was the eldest and last surviving of the three musical brothers who formed the American rock band in 1961, alongside their cousin Mike Love and school friend Al Jardine. Wood, 78, who has played guitar in the Rolling Stones and rock band Faces, said his world was 'in mourning' amid a week which has also seen the death of US musician Sly Stone. A post shared by Ronnie Wood (@ronniewood) On Wednesday, Wilson's family said in a statement to his website: 'We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved father Brian Wilson has passed away. We are at a loss for words right now. Please respect our privacy at this time as our family is grieving.' The statement finished 'Love & Mercy', a reference to one of Wilson's songs as well as a film about him starring John Cusack. Wood said in a social media post: 'Oh no Brian Wilson and Sly Stone in one week – my world is in mourning, so sad.' His message was punctuated with praying hands and heart emojis, and featured pictures of Wilson and American funk singer Stone, real name Sylvester Stewart, who died on Monday, also aged 82. A post shared by Keith Richards (@officialkeef) Richards posted an extract of his 2010 memoir, Life, about Wilson on Instagram with the caption 'Rest in Peace!'. In the excerpt, Richards, 81, recalls hearing The Beach Boys for the first time on the radio, and his reaction to their 1966 album Pet Sounds. The extract reads: 'When we first got to American and to LA, there was a lot of Beach Boys on the radio, which was pretty funny to us – it was before Pet Sounds – it was hot rod songs and surfing songs, pretty lousily played, familiar Chuck Berry licks going on… 'It was later on, listening to Pet Sounds, well, it's a little bit overproduced for me, but Brian Wilson had something.' We are heartbroken to announced that our beloved father Brian Wilson has passed away. We are at a loss for words right now. Please respect our privacy at this time as our family grieving. We realize that we are sharing our grief with the world. Love & Mercy — Brian Wilson (@BrianWilsonLive) June 11, 2025 Cusack, 58, who played Wilson in a 2014 biopic, said in a post: 'The maestro has passed — the man was a open heart with two legs — with an ear that heard the angels. Quite literally. Love and Mercy for you and yours tonight. RIP Brian.' Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood added: 'Anyone with a musical bone in their body must be grateful for Brian Wilson's genius magical touch!! 'And greatly saddened of this major worldly loss!! My thoughts go out to his family and friends.' Sean Ono Lennon, the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, also paid tribute in a heartfelt post to X where he described Wilson as 'our American Mozart'. Wilson's band, known for their vocal harmonies, signed with Capitol Records in 1962 and released their first album, Surfin' Safari, that same year. Wilson was born on June 20 1942, and began to play the piano and teach his brothers to sing harmony as a young boy. The Beach Boys started as a neighbourhood act, rehearsing in Wilson's bedroom and in the garage of their house in suburban Hawthorne, California. In the group Wilson played bass while his brother Dennis was the drummer and Carl played lead guitar. Their debut single, Surfin', became a minor hit upon its release in 1961, but was nothing compared with the success that followed from their second studio album, Surfin' USA, released in 1963. The band were managed by the trio's father, Murry Wilson, but by mid-decade he had been displaced and Brian, who had been running the band's recording sessions almost from the start, was in charge. They released their most recognised album, Pet Sounds, in May 1966 which included the popular songs Wouldn't It Be Nice and God Only Knows. Other studio albums including The Beach Boys Today! and Summer Days (Summer Nights!!), both released in 1965, also performed well in the charts. In the later half of the 1960s and into the 1970s they had success upon releasing greatest hits albums including 20 Golden Greats, which peaked at number one in the UK albums chart in 1976. Wilson married singer Marilyn Rovell in 1964 and the couple welcomed daughters Carnie and Wendy, whom he became estranged from following their divorce. He later reconciled with them and they sang together on the 1997 album The Wilsons, which was also the name of a music group formed by Carnie and Wendy following the break-up of pop vocal group Wilson Phillips. Wilson, who had dealt with mental health and drug problems, got his life back on track in the 1990s and married talent manager Melinda Ledbetter. When Ledbetter died last year, Wilson said their five children, Daria, Delanie, Dylan, Dash and Dakota, were 'in tears'. 'She (Ledbetter) was my saviour. She gave me the emotional security I needed to have a career. She encouraged me to make the music that was closest to my heart. She was my anchor,' he said in a statement. Wilson was also embroiled in multiple lawsuits some of which followed from the release of his 1991 autobiography, Wouldn't It Be Nice: My Own Story. The Beach Boys were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and received a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award in 2001. Their biggest hits included California Girls, Surfin' USA and Good Vibrations, the latter of which topped the UK's singles chart. In 2012, following the 50th anniversary of the Beach Boys being founded, Wilson took to the road with Love, Jardine and others for a tour. Wilson's brother Dennis died in 1983 while Carl died in 1998.
