Weah saga ends with move to Marseille
Weah has been the subject of much speculation in this transfer window. Earlier in the summer, Weah was reportedly close to a move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest. The English club had submitted a bid for the American forward but the player snubbed the move. Instead, Marseille appeared as suitors and Weah had his heart set on joining Roberto De Zerbi in Ligue 1.

Weah joins the French club on loan with an obligation-to-buy after two years in Turin. Last season, Weah scored 5 goals and assisted twice in 30 Serie A matches for the Old Lady, taking his overall tally with the Bianconeri to 78 matches and 7 goals in all competitions.

Arsenal Are Keeping A Keen Eye On This Serie A Forward: Should Arteta Bring Him On Board?
In a recent report, Tuttomercatoweb revealed that Arsenal are keeping a keen eye on Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman. It has been mentioned that the Gunners could move in for the Nigerian attacker if they fail to land some of their other targets in this summer transfer window. Lookman's Impressive Form In Italian Football Lookman enjoyed a productive campaign at the Italian club as he put in a lot of impressive displays for them in front of the opponent's goal. The Nigerian sensation banged in 20 goals and earned seven assists in 40 matches for Atalanta last season in all competitions. The 27-year-old caught the eye at times up top and did well to average 3.24 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. He kept 39.5% of his attempts on target. Lookman even distributed possession relatively well in the opponent's half, based on his pass completion rate of 72.5% in the top tier of Italian football (stats via His current contract at the Italian club will run out in the summer of 2027. Thus, it won't be easy for the Gunners to sign him on the cheap this off-season. BERGAMO, ITALY – MAY 12: Ademola Lookman of Atalanta is challenged by Devyne Rensch of AS Roma during the Serie A match between Atalanta BC and AS Roma at Gewiss Stadium on May 12, 2025 in Bergamo, Italy. (Photo by) Should Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta Bring Lookman On Board? Lookman is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some dangerous runs with it out on the flanks. He has got the vision to engineer a few promising chances for his teammates in the final third and can strike the ball with power from long range. The Nigerian talent is primarily a striker but can also operate as a winger on either flank if asked to do so by his manager. However, there are some concerns over whether he can maintain his good form in the Premier League. Lookman would bring more firepower to Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta's attack. He is good enough to serve as an ideal back-up to Viktor Gyokeres at the North London club. At 27, Lookman is about to enter his prime, which makes him a decent choice for the Gunners to consider in this transfer window. He would even help Arsenal compete across all fronts over the next few years. Therefore, it makes sense for Arteta to bring him on board this summer.

Arne Slot CONFIRMS Mo Salah influenced crucial Liverpool transfer
Mo Salah influenced a crucial transfer for Liverpool this summer, according to . It was undoubtedly the right decision. Liverpool had an incredible task on this summer as Trent Alexander-Arnold decided to leave the club. The Scouser, long thought to have been set for a career at Anfield, picked Real Madrid. Of course, he didn't quite leave on free transfer. Liverpool sold him to Real Madrid for around £10m with one month left on his contract - an incredible deal for the Reds as Alexander-Arnold was never going to get another chance to play for them. We maintain it was an incredible one, honestly. But that's not to say it was a nice one. Liverpool would have preferred to keep Alexander-Arnold as he was comfortably one of the most creative players in the squad - if not the most creative. Doing that from right-back is incredible and why Alexander-Arnold was so valuable. No player in history has matched his playmaking influence from right-back, making replacing him almost impossible. The Reds decided to do it in different ways. Florian Wirtz arrived as the new brains in attack and he'll undoubtedly be the main playmaker. Jeremie Frimpong is the new right-back - a totally different style of player to Alexander-Arnold. He's full of energy, pace, and constantly wants to hit the byline. So why the change? Mo Salah's influence, apparently. Arne Slot on Mo Salah Arne Slot gave a press conference ahead of Sunday's Community Shield clash against Crystal Palace. He was asked there about the need for new players, with one particular case popping up. Salah is undoubtedly the best right-winger in the squad. In fact, he's probably the only one if Federico Chiesa departs as expected. That's a problem given he'll disappear to AFCON midway through the season. Slot, though, says Liverpool prepared for this - and it's why Frimpong was a must-buy. 'We definitely thought about AFCON," said Slot. "It's partly why we brought in Frimpong because he can play as a right-winger.

Brest to sign Monaco's Radoslaw Majecki on loan
Stade Brestois are set to sign AS Monaco goalkeeper Radoslaw Majecki (25) on a season-long loan, according to a report from . The Polish goalkeeper managed to take the No.1 jersey in the second half of the 2023/24 season, following some shaky performances from Philipp Köhn. However, Majecki was unconvincing at times last season and so the No.1 jersey was passed between the Polishman and Köhn. At the end of last season, Monaco CEO Thiago Scuro said that the goalkeeper situation would be addressed during the transfer window. It has taken a while, however, the Principality club now look to have found their new No.1 – Lukas Hradecky. The Finnish goalkeeper is set to join from Bayer Leverkusen. His arrival will push Köhn down to No.2, leaving Majecki third in the pecking order. A departure was therefore envisaged. He is now set to join Brest. The Poland international will undergo his medical on Friday and join on a season-long loan, without a buy option. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
