
78-year-old pedestrian dead after Vancouver crash
A 78-year-old woman died after being hit by a driver in a Range Rover in Vancouver Saturday, according to authorities.
Officers were called to the scene on East 41st Avenue near Culloden Street around 5 p.m. for reports a pedestrian had been struck, the Vancouver Police Department said in a news release.
'Despite life-saving attempts by first responders, the woman died at the scene. The driver of the Range Rover remained on scene,' police said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and anyone with information or dash cam video is urged to call 604-717-3012.
