Emma Raducanu reveals she keeps being BANNED from Italian Open grounds and was exposed by officials

LAUGHING Emma Raducanu revealed she keeps getting banned from the Italian Open.
And she even got exposed by the tournament's officials.

Raducanu booked her spot in the third round with wins over Maya Joint and Jil Teichmann in Rome.
And after her second win, she could not help but giggle during her brilliant post-match interview with Sky Sports as her forgetfulness became public knowledge.
For security reasons, players, coaches, media and site staff must have their accreditation on them at all times at tennis tournaments to prove their identity.
But it turns out Raducanu might be finding some form on the court - but is struggling to locate her passes off it.
Karthi Gnanasegaram said: "It's going pretty well in Rome except for the fact that I think you keep losing your accreditation.
"Are you top of the list for people losing their accreditation and not being allowed into the grounds?"
And that prompted Raducanu to burst into laughter.
The British sensation quipped in reply: "Yeah, well, I've won something this week already.
"So I was the first person to lose my accreditation.
"And then I lost the second accreditation.
Shocking moment tennis star smashes ball at rival's head in frustration before he is disqualified
"And then I got exposed on the board at the entrance.
"It's not ideal but to be honest it pretty much sums me up."
Last year, Raducanu's best friend Shauna left her pal red-faced by telling Roman Kemp that the first app she uses on her phone each morning is Find My Friends.
Then in February, the former US Open champion candidly told a reporter that she is a big night owl and likes to go out for walks at 11pm.
But she then added: "I don't know if that is smart or not…"
Raducanu will hope the unwanted accreditation award is not the only trophy she can claim from her trip to Rome.
The world No49 faces Veronika Kudermetova on Sunday for a place in the last 16.
That will take place on Sunday, the same day as Jack Draper's third-round match.
Tennis stars' new careers

European royal gives poignant update after horrific motorcycle accident which saw her 'crash headfirst into a wall'

Princess Carolina de Bourbon has posted a poignant message after revealing last week she'd been in a near-fatal motorcycle crash that saw her 'crash headfirst into a wall'. Carolina, 21, took to Instagram yesterday to update fans on her recovery and to thank everyone for their 'immense support' following the serious accident. The Italian heiress, who said she is 'incredibly lucky to be alive', revealed she is recovering well and she reflected on how 'fragile life can be.' Princess Carolina is the daughter of Prince Carlo, Duke of Castro - who holds a claim to the now defunct throne of the former House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies - and Princess Camilla, Duchess of Castro. She wrote: 'I am so grateful for the immense support I've received over the past few days, as well as all the messages and well wishes. 'I'm doing well in my recovery and feeling thankful to everyone who has been there for me during this time. She concluded: 'This experience has been a powerful reminder of how fragile life can be. Please take care of yourselves.' Carolina was rushed to a hospital in Monaco last week following the motorcycle accident. She shared a series of photos of herself as she urged her followers to 'wear a helmet' while riding a bike, adding: 'Mine saved my life.' On Wednesday, she posted several snaps on Instagram, including one that showed her lying in a hospital bed with a neck brace. Another showed her undergoing what appears to be an electroencephalogram (EEG) test that measures electrical activity in the brain, in the aftermath of the accident that occurred when Carolina 'crashed headfirst into a wall' while riding her bike. 'I'm incredibly lucky to be alive,' she began the caption of her post. 'I crashed head first into a wall whilst riding a motorcycle and ended up in reanimation in the Intensive Care Unit. 'Surviving this was nothing short of a miracle,' she added. The Italian socialite, who was in Monaco for the 2025 Grand Prix, said she wanted to share her experience so that people understand that motorcyles are as 'unforgiving' as they are 'thrilling'. She urged her followers to 'ride with care' and wear a 'proper helmet'. 'Mine saved my life,' she continued, before thanking her medical team at the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace for their 'expert care during those critical days' after she was brought in. The Italian socialite also praised the first responders on the scene 'whose quick and decisive actions in those first moments' after the accident 'made all the difference'. Several of her followers rushed to the comments section to wish Carolina a speedy recovery, as one person wrote: 'I hope you get better soon. Please be careful.' Another said: 'I wish you a quick recovery.' A third translated comment read: 'I'm so sorry and get well soon may god protect you.' It comes after Carolina documented her trip to Monaco for this year's Grand Prix on Instagram. Her post included a photograph with British F1 racer Lando Norris, who cruised to victory at the Grand Prix, as well as snaps alongside her mother Camilla and her younger sister, Princess Chiara de Bourbon. Before flying to Monaco, Carolina dazzled the French Riviera as she walked the red carpet at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony on May 15. The Italian heiress will turn 22 in July, with Carolina ringing in her 21st birthday with a lavish celebration in Sardinia last year. Taking guests to the Cervo Hotel at the Costa Smeralda Resort in Sardinia, Carolina partied the weekend away dipping in and out for the pool before getting dressed up for the evening celebrations. A four-tiered cake, atop with sparklers, cherries and piped icing was served before a fireworks display, while guests danced with sparklers in front of a sign that read 'Happy Birthday Carolina', dozens of balloons and a tank of exotic fish. Carolina and her younger sister Chiara have become well-known in aristocratic circles for their lavish parties and fashionable looks at events. Their father Prince Carlo holds a claim to the now defunct throne of the former House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, a cadet branch of the Spanish royal family, which descends from the Capetian Dynasty and ruled over Southern Italy and Sicily during the 18th and 19th centuries. Meanwhile, their mother, Duchess Camilla, born Crociani, is the daughter of Italian industry Tycoon Camillo Crociani and the actress Edy Vessel.

Maya Jama joins Ruben Dias's Manchester City team-mates in mocking his 'geography teacher' outfit

Ruben Dias has been torched for his latest outfit by his Manchester City team-mates and girlfriend Maya Jama - despite dressing smartly. The defender was mocked for his sartorial selection as he arrived for Portugal duty, being compared to a 'geography teacher' in a post that left his pals in stitches. Dias had seemingly done little wrong, turning up dressed neatly in a light green checkered long-sleeve shirt, dark brown trousers, and polished black shoes. On Sunday he was revealed as the summer cover star for the quarterly luxury magazine Sports World, giving credence to his stylistic reputation. But none of that mattered to his tribe of team-mates, who, for whatever reason, tore apart Dias in the comments of his latest Instagram post. 'If I speak I'm in big trouble,' said Bernardo Silva, quoting Jose Mourinho. Bernardo Silva led the way with the comments, quoting Jose Mourinho in his mockery 'Honestly,' added Matheus Nunes alongside a sneezing emoji. One fan commented: 'When you have a geography class to teach but also training at 4.' And that was enough to reel in Love Island presenter Jama, who added her own sprinkling of ridicule with three laughing emojis. However, other people were more generous, with one on X saying: 'This is a generational fit.' Another said: 'Am I being daft, not entirely sure what's wrong with the outfit?' 'The outfit was so good tho,' wrote another. If there was any doubt at all about their union, Jama put it to bed last week as she shared a photo of her and Dias soaking up the sun on a boat during a romantic getaway in Italy. The presenter, 30, and the footballer, 28, are thought to have been secretly dating for several months, after they met at the European Music Awards (EMAs) in November. Their romance was finally confirmed after they were seen showing affection at KSI 's Baller League event in April. The presenter has been seen at multiple football games over the last few months to watch Dias live in action for Man City. Footage of the pair last month showed them with their arms around each other before he leant into her neck for a peck, with Ruben flying under the radar in casual clothes and a cap. It is the first time they have been seen in public since they were thought to have started dating - though Maya has often hinted at the romance by sharing snaps of flowers she has been sent. Their appearance at the Baller League came just one day after she supported Ruben at Wembley on Sunday as his team Manchester City triumphed 2-0 against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup semi-finals. During the last international break in March, Maya flew to Lisbon to watch him play for the Portuguese national team. She was pictured in the stands at the José Alvalade Stadium to witness Portugal's 5-2 victory over Denmark in the second leg of their Nations League quarter-final. The presenter was seen with a friend and glasses of wine in a VIP hospitality box - usually reserved for friends and family of players. Maya then posted a picture on social media of the two celebrating together at their romantic fireside retreat at 3:30am the following morning. The snap is believed to have been taken at the footballer's home in the Cascais region of Portugal, with a vast swimming pool and fire pit glimpsed in the picture. They reportedly started dating in December, having met at the EMAs in November, which took place in Manchester. Rumours of the couple's romance only intensified in the days following Valentine's Day after Jama shared the bouquet of roses she received on her return to the UK from Cape Town following the conclusion of the 2025 Love Island All Star season. The pair were then spotted wearing matching Cartier 'LOVE' bracelets, which were listed at £5,050 on the store's website. Jama was seen wearing the pricey gift in the Instagram post before Dias was spotted wearing the same item as he arrived for training ahead of City's Champions League play-off second leg against Real Madrid in February. They have kept tight-lipped on the dating rumours - but in March, Gary Lineker seemingly confirmed their relationship by referencing the defender as Maya's 'boyfriend' to her face. After the incident, Maya did not deny Gary's claim and only labelled the Match of the Day presenter 'weird'. Maya appeared to be upset after the former England player put her on the spot and prompted further speculation.

Nick Kyrgios ‘genuinely sorry to disappoint' after Wimbledon injury blow

Nick Kyrgios will miss Wimbledon for a third successive year after another injury setback. The Australian has not played at the All England Club since reaching his only grand slam singles final in 2022, where he was beaten by Novak Djokovic. After more than two years on the sidelines with knee and wrist problems, Kyrgios returned at the start of this season but was forced to abandon plans to play doubles at the French Open after suffering another knee injury. And he has now revealed he will not be able to play in his favourite part of the season, writing on Instagram: 'Just wanted to give everyone a quick update – I've hit a small setback in my recovery and unfortunately won't make it back for grass this year. 'I know how much you've all been looking forward to seeing me out there, and I'm genuinely sorry to disappoint. This is just a bump in the road though, and I'm already working hard to get back stronger than ever. 'Thank you for all your continued support – it means everything to me. See you soon!' The 30-year-old's career was put in jeopardy by a torn ligament in his wrist in 2023, which required surgery and kept him out for a year and a half. He finally returned to action in January but admitted after losing to Britain's Jacob Fearnley in the first round of the Australian Open that he might have played his last singles match at Melbourne Park. He was in tears when more pain in his wrist prompted him to retire at Indian Wells in March, although he did win his first singles match since 2022 against Mackenzie McDonald in Miami later that month in what was his most recent tournament. Kyrgios was still a draw at Wimbledon last year after moving into TV punditry, while he will be appearing at the New Wimbledon Theatre on June 24 as part of the live tour of his podcast 'Good Trouble'.
