THREE Scottish beaches have topped a list of the best in the UK just in time for the weather hotting up.
The new research, conducted by Chicks Gold, analysed TripAdvisor reviews to find the highest-rated beaches in Britain.

Camusdarach Beach in Morar is number three on the ranking
Coastal spots that were rated four stars or higher were ranked based on the percentage of five-star reviews.
And the top three spots were all taken by stunning Scots destinations.
A Chicks Gold spokesman said: "Scotland dominates the list of best UK beaches, claiming four out of the top five spots. Scottish beaches can often be overlooked for southern destinations, but these reviews show how extraordinary these locations really are.
'These beaches are more remote than usual seaside towns that are overrun during the summer months. They offer visitors a quieter, more picturesque experience that is truly breathtaking.'
Coming in at number one is the award-winning Luskentyre Beach on the Isle of Harris.
An incredible 93.79 per cent of reviewers gave this gorgeous bay five stars.
Often compared to the Caribbean, Luskentyre is famed for its white sand and crystal blue sea.
One of the Chicks Gold team said: "This beach boasts white sands, blue-green waters, and was named one of the UK's best beaches in the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards."
Meanwhile, in second place is the little known Scarista Beach, also on Harris.
With a wide expanse of golden sand, sand dunes and wild-flower meadows which spill onto the bay, it's dubbed a Hebridean gem.

And it's also right next to Harris Golf Course, which players say is one of the most dramatic locations to play on the planet.
The Chicks Gold team said: "This white sandy beach speckled with seashells lies on the southwestern coast of South Harris and looks out into the Atlantic Ocean."
And in third place is Camusdarach Beach with 88.54 per cent of five star ratings.
The beautiful spot in Morar is described as an arc of white, glistening sand and clear water.
Situated south of the estuary of River Morar, it has views of the Isle of Skye. The beach was also featured in the film Local Hero and is a popular filming location to visit.
One more Scottish each made the top 10. Sandwood Bay in Sutherland came fifth in the list
The natural bay is a remote, picturesque beach on the far north-west coast of mainland Scotland.
The team said: "Visitors will find a mile of golden sands and dunes, with rocky cliffs and a giant sea stack to complete the stunning vistas."

According to the woman, TikTok user Adelina, the solution is simple - but the trick will only work if you have a phone case. Demonstrating the hack online, the passenger revealed you first need to take a shirt - or any piece of clothing on hand - and attach it to the tray, before locking it. Once done, she went on in the now-viral video, remove the phone case and place it underneath the clothing. Here, you can choose how high the screen will then sit - to ensure you avoid neck pain, it's best advised to place it as high as possible. The rest is straightforward - put the inside the case, with the piece of clothing in-between and enjoy your favourite show, whether that's reality series or a gripping true crime documentary on Netflix. This hack works because the extra material between the phone and the case will act as DIY movie screen, as the clothing will hold it in place. Loch Katrine tower hits huge visitor milestone in less than a year
This weekend, the Phillipe family, visiting from France, became the 30,000 to scale the three-storey Trossachs attraction which features a spectacular panoramic view across the Loch. Loch Katrine is home to the Steamship Sir Walter Scott, and the vivid landscapes described in Scott's poem are credited with bringing national attention to the area. Thoughtfully designed to blend into the natural surroundings, the tower offers sweeping views over Loch Katrine and the surrounding hills and mountains. A short, accessible path leads to the tower, allowing people of all ages to enjoy the dramatic and historic setting.
