If you like this: 5 hidden Emirates ID perks you probably didn't know about By going to the DEWA app or website and activating the Away Mode, you can monitor the electricity and water use when you are not at home. The handy Away Mode tracking means that you can spot any DEWA disasters (such as a leak) when you are not home. Once you activate the 'away mode' for your DEWA account, you will receive daily and weekly emails on water consumption. This way you can keep an eye out for any surges, abnormalities or outlying consumption readings when you're away from home. You can easily select the start and end dates for the duration that you will be away from home, and for which time you want the 'away mode' to be activated. You can select the activation period, which will also allow you to decide how often you receive data on electricity and water use when you are away. Step Three: Put the applicant's correct telephone number (Credit: CanvaPro) This is a very, very important step as this is the number through which you'll get status updates – including when your Emirates ID is ready for pick up. Keep an eye on the SMS that will help you keep track of which point of the process your application is at. It's located on the first page of your passport along with the information of when and where the document was approved.
