Mallorca finalising loan deal with Leeds for Mateo Joseph
Mallorca have made a loan proposal, without a permanent option, to Leeds and Joseph. According to sources close to the player, who spoke anonymously to protect relationships, he has agreed to the move and is awaiting the green light from Leeds.

Manager Daniel Farke said the 21-year-old had requested to leave Elland Road for a Spanish club last month.
According to Farke, Joseph declined to travel to Sweden or Germany with the squad for pre-season preparation in July. The Spain under-21 striker then made it clear to his manager he saw his future in his homeland, with Real Betis and Girona among the clubs interested in him.
However, Leeds rejected loan offers which included pre-agreed purchase options attached to them. With three years still to run on Joseph's contract, United see no urgency in selling a striker they see potential in.
United will be happy to see Joseph playing in La Liga — Mallorca finished 10th last season — before returning to Thorp Arch next summer for a fresh assessment on where he is at with his development.
As for incomings, Leeds are continuing to pursue full-backs, No 10s, wingers and strikers, and Liverpool's Ben Doak is one winger Leeds have discussed. Sources close to the player and Anfield indicated United have expressed interest in the 19-year-old.
Liverpool rejected offers around £20million for the winger in January and value him around the same amount now. If they do not receive an offer in that range, they are happy to retain him as a squad option.
