Cena put an end to his heel phase, claiming Cody Rhodes served as a wake-up call. Women's United States Champion Giulia got the better of Zelina Vega to hold on to her crown.
The latest episode of WWE SmackDown witnessed the turn of John Cena into a babyface after months of playing the heel, while the Women's United States Championship and the AAA World Tag Team Championship belts were defended by Giulia and Los Garza respectively.
John Cena and Cody Rhodes opened the latest instalment of the Blue Brand as the leader of the Cenation acknowledged his folly and brought an end to his heel phase, claiming Cody Rhodes served as his wake-up call. The duo ended up sharing a drink together in a landmark shift.
Giulia Vs Zelina Vega:
Giulia entered the ring as the holder of the Women's United States Championship and walked out after successfully retaining her crown in an action-packed encounter against Vega. The bout looked to swing the way of the challenger Vega as she dominated proceedings before Giulia produced a moment of inspiration to connect with her Northern Lights bomb to level her opponent and pick up the victory by pinfall.
Los Garza Vs Psycho Clown and Mr. Iguana:
AAA stars also made their debut on the show as AAA World Tag Team Champions Los Garza, Angel and Berto got the win over Iguana and Clown to hold on to their titles in a fixture that thrilled the WWE Universe.
Priest picked up the win over Black via disqualification as Black opted to bring the steel chair into the equation to whack his oppoent in the face, which did not sit well with the man in the middle. The official's decision seemed to have little impact on the wrester who went on to assault Priest further before connecting with a black mass in a statement.
Tala Tonga Vs Jimmy Uso
Jimmy Uso decided to take the fight to his opponent as he started in high-octane fashion against the 7-footer. However, the giants proved too strong for the former, who ended the bout with a deadly chokeslam. Solo Sikoa and MFT looked to add insult to Uso's injury by trying to lower a cage, but for the intervention of Jacob Fatu, who took Uso's side on the day sending Tala and Solo back to the hind of the stage.
Jelly Roll and Randy Orton Vs Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul
The episode closed out with a segment in which a brawl broke out as McIntyre and Paul walked out to the stage to talks smack about Roll ahead of their encounter at the Summerslam, but Orton had Roll's back as the duo confronted their opponents inside the ring. Security guards had to intervene to split the fight up, but Orton did not take to it kindly as he RKO-ed a couple of guards, before Roll finished off the other.

Notably, his firm handled security for Justin Bieber during the singer's 2017 concert in Mumbai. Recently, Shera appeared in a Swiggy ad themed around Rakshabandhan, showing yet another side to the man best known for protecting one of India's biggest stars. Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan is currently working on a film based on the Galwan Valley clash, titled 'Battle of Galwan". The movie, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, will depict the 2020 confrontation between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley. Salman Khan will be portraying Colonel B.
