I ended it with Paddy to find true self…that means I'm dating women, says Christine McGuinness as she speaks about split
AFTER being known as Paddy McGuinness's wife for 11 years, Christine is making big changes. Not just by leaving her famous husband — but by turning her back on men completely. 7 Christine McGuinness has been dating women after 'finding her true self' Credit: Channel4 7 Christine split from Paddy McGuinness in 2022 Credit: Getty The model, who is currently appearing on E4's Celebs Go Dating, revealed she has only been in relationships with women in the three years since the breakdown of their marriage. But she insists that, at the age of 37, it is less about satisfying previously unfulfilled desires and more about starting a new chapter with her own identity. Talking on Celebs Go Dating, which launched last night, Christine said: 'I feel like I'm a couple of steps away from being my new self and not 'Paddy's wife'. I'm coming out of the transition part. 'I am single and I absolutely do love women. I'd love to explore that more and I definitely see that's where I'm more comfortable.' She added: 'When I was a teenager, I dated men and women before I was married and now I'm really, really just enjoying spending time with women. 'For the last three years, I've only ever dated women. I was never heterosexual, I've never labelled myself anything other than Christine, to be honest.' Christine and Paddy, 51, married in 2011 and have three children together. She claims the Take Me Out and Top Gear presenter knew from the start of their relationship that she was attracted to women and did not take issue with it. 'It's my fault' Since announcing their shock split in July 2022, Christine has been romantically linked to singer Chelcee Grimes and model, rapper and DJ Roxxxan. Now, as part of Celebs Go Dating, she is opening up more than ever about her love life and how she perhaps wasn't as into men as it would have appeared. Christine McGuinness has taken a sly dig at ex-husband Paddy, claiming she now wants to date women so she can have 'a deeper connection.' On the show, during a dating masterclass with Too Hot To Handle hunk Louis Russell, she is challenged to use her body language to show she is interested in him. Christine is incredibly convincing, but says afterwards: 'I think it is a really good example of how I'm used to faking it.' Despite her confidence when it comes to flirting, Christine revealed some of the issues she has encountered with potential new partners. She said: 'I'm attracted to a masculine woman that's not trying to fit in and be like anyone else. 'I haven't dated an awful lot. I was married for a long time and it took me a while to even think about spending time with anyone. 'Luckily for me, the women I've spent time with over the last couple of years, I already knew them.' She added: 'The only thing I've struggled with is when I've really liked someone and they haven't got children and they want more. I just know that isn't for me. 'My time is actually very precious and valuable. If I am spending time with somebody, you should know you're important.' Christine also appeared to address rumours that Paddy had cheated during their marriage. She said: 'Anyone can make mistakes, but I think the trust was broken. 7 The star and 'tomboy' musician Roxxxan leaving Ibiza after holidaying together Credit: Splash 7 Christine dated Chelcee Grimes Credit: Instagram/chelceegrimes 'I'll always love him as the father of my children, I think he'll be the only man I'll ever love. A lot of people make mistakes and mess up, when you are a couple who is quite well known in the industry then obviously everyone knows your business. 'In some ways, I still carry that feeling of it's my fault because I ended it. 'We had an amazing 15 years, we really did. The last couple of years, I think things weren't quite the same. 'I think once the respect isn't quite there any more, it's time to leave. It was the hardest decision I've ever made in my life and it forever will be.' Christine revealed it was Paddy's comedic charm that won her over when they met during a turbulent time in her life. She said: 'He wasn't as known as he is now. I was 19 when I met him. I went to an event where I was modelling. 'My ex husband was there, someone introduced us and we had a laugh. We kept in touch. I did [fancy him], he had a cheeky charm, he made me laugh and I wasn't in the best place. 'I was struggling with a lot of things. I struggled a lot as a teenager, I didn't really know where I fitted or where I belonged. "When I met my ex-husband it was just perfect timing. 'He made me laugh so much, it was easy, it was an easy relationship.' Christine was diagnosed with ADHD and autism in her late thirties, shortly after their children, 12-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, and Felicity, eight, were diagnosed with autism. The developmental conditions have affected her social interactions throughout her life — and that goes for dating, too. She explained: 'Autism affects me a lot with socialising, it takes me a while to relax and be open to get to know someone. 'They think I'm odd' 'I struggle to read people, so I never really know whether I've made a good impression or not. The thought of going on a date scares me so much. 'I just have a couple of different corners to navigate before I'm OK. 7 Christine on a date with Leanne Grant Credit: Objective / Channel 4 'I just find it uncomfortable with someone I don't know.' On how she has to take special care to plan dates, Christine said: 'It's just sensory issues, so I struggle with too much texture. It could be the smell, if it's too busy somewhere. 'So I try to avoid restaurants unless I've been there before. 'I think people just think I'm a bit odd or that I have got an eating disorder of some sort. 'It's that first bit of feeling different, but I want someone who accepts all of that, and is OK with that.' And Christine reckons there is no better place to find love than the E4 dating show. She said: 'It's all brand new to me, but I'm in the best place, I'm excited for it. 'I've got to take a deep breath and just dive in. I can't be single for the rest of my life.' Other famous faces on the Celebs Go Dating line-up are Love Islander Olivia Hawkins, Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona, The Chase quizzer Mark Labbett, S Club singer Jon Lee, comic Donna Preston and Made In Chelsea lothario Sam Prince. They are all guided by dating coach Paul C Brunson and sex guru Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn. After meeting potential dates, including a lesbian called Leanne, Christine admits: 'There's parts of all of them that I really like. 'With Leanne, although she's presenting more fem, I know there's a lot of dominance in her. I'm really torn. Leanne isn't my usual type, she's more feminine, quite glamorous. I'd like to see more of her masculine side, which I'm pretty sure is in there.' The show is likely to make for uncomfortable viewing for Paddy as Christine has already divulged a few things that may feel like a needle to her ex-husband. Before the show aired, she admitted: 'I can just have a deeper connection with a woman. I like someone who knows what they want and isn't playing games.' Celebs Go Dating is on tonight, tomorrow and Thursday on E4 at 9pm. All this week's episodes are available to stream now. 7 The model is appearing on E4's Celebs Go Dating, pictured with Olivia Hawkins, Kerry Katona, Mark Labbett, Jon Lee, Donna Preston, and Sam Prince Credit: Matt Monfredi / Channel 4

From drinks with DiCaprio to £140k shopping sprees – meet 6 fiery Real Housewives of London as city finally joins series
NEW YORK, Beverly Hills, Dubai and even Cheshire – there are few places the Real Housewives franchise has not been. And after 19 years on the air, the show is finally coming to London. 8 From left: Juliet Mayhew, Amanda Cronin, Karen Loderick-Peace, Nessie Welschinger, Juliet Angus and Panthea Parker Credit: Getty It looks like Housewives gold — with six fiery castmates, the claws are out and you can expect a load of bitching, backstabbing, designer wardrobes, filler and out-of-touch elitism. As cast member Amanda Cronin tells it: 'No cost-of-living crisis here.' The Bravo franchise first came to Orange County, California in 2006 then hit New York, Atlanta and Miami — making stars of Teresa Giudice, NeNe Leakes, Bethenny Frankel and more. Since then, it has even spawned versions in Nigeria and Poland. Bravo tried to crack England with 2014 series Ladies Of London, which then ran for three series, but it was quietly retired after tragedies in the cast. Noelle Reno left in 2014 after her boyfriend died falling from the balcony of her London flat, and Annabelle Neilson died of a heart attack in 2018. But now The Real Housewives Of London is go — streamed by Hayu from Monday and promising corking champagne-fuelled feuds in Chelsea and Belgravia. During the season debut, a dinner to mark International Women's Day ends with, ahem, one of the housewives being called a 'chronic liar and insecure tart'. From hard partying with Leonardo DiCaprio, to £140,000 shopping sprees, here we profile the cast of the new series . . . Inside RHOC Season 18 Drama: Shocking Departures and Explosive Feuds Juliet Mayhew While her broad Aussie accent may not scream London elite, former actress Juliet is a fixture in wealthy Chelsea. The 47-year-old grew up in North Queensland until she was 12, when she was sent to a UK boarding school by her British parents. 8 Juliet Mayhew grew up in North Queensland until she was 12, when she was sent to a UK boarding school by her British parents Credit: Getty She describes herself as a creative director but also lists party organising and selling leather goods on her CV. Juliet has two teenage children Ophelia and Orlanda - named after Shakespeare characters - with her hedge fund manager Anthony. Devout christian Juliet has spoken out in the past about how she remained a virgin until she married her husband aged 28. She counts former Neighbours star Holly Valance - who is divorcing billionaire property tycoon Nick Candy - as a close friend. She says friend and Ladies of London OG cast member Caroline Stanbury - who once dated Prince Andrew - convinced her to take part in the show. Karen Loderick-Peace Karen, 50, might already be a familiar face. The mum-of-three has already appeared on the show's Jersey and Cheshire series and no doubt knows the drill. 8 Karen Loderick-Peace has already appeared on the show's Jersey and Cheshire series and no doubt knows the drill Credit: Instagram Married to ex-West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace, whose net worth is an estimated £175million, the couple own two London properties, three UK homes and a private jet to boot. Their six-storey Belgravia mansion is undergoing a £4.5million renovation including an indoor pool for Karen, who confesses she can't swim. Born in Jamaica, Karen came to London in her twenties to study fashion and she's put her degree to good use with a wardrobe packed with Roberto Cavalli designer togs. She said: 'I've always been glamorous, because being from the Caribbean we exude glamour.' Juliet Angus As the only Ladies of London cast member to join the RHOLND cast, stylist Juliet can teach the cast a thing or two about drama. In the 2014 series, she repeatedly clashed with other housewives including an episode where she angrily refused to eat veal calling the meat 'Bambi'. 8 Juliet Angus has told how she schmoozed with celebs in Los Angeles before she settled down Credit: Getty The Chicago native, 49, has told how she schmoozed with celebs in Los Angeles before she settled down. Lindsay Lohan is godmother to one of her children, in her twenties dated comedian Bob Saget who died in 2022 and has partied with Leonardo di Caprio. She said: 'I had a dance-off one time at this club, Joseph's, with Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Every night it was a different club.' But all that changed when she met Canadian media exec husband Gregor and the pair settled down in London in 2011. As an influencer, Juliet has amassed 330,000 instagram followers and has started her own jewellery line, toting her net worth up to an estimated £4.4million. Aside from influencing, she's often hosting soirees at her Notting Hill home - often enlisting chefs from sushi restaurant Nobu to do the catering. Amanda Cronin Skincare entrepreneur and influencer Amanda, 56, has already designated herself 'queen bee' of the series. Dubbed 'the longest legs in Belgravia', it's no wonder the Hampshire native was scouted as a model in her youth and ended up partying on Monacan superyachts. 8 Amanda Cronin has already designated herself 'queen bee' of the series Credit: Getty She landed a reportedly huge settlement from her second husband First Utility boss Mark Daeche in 2019 rumoured to be near the £40million mark. Following her divorce she dated Wham!'s Andrew Ridgely but the pair went their separate ways in 2023. Now she lives the high life with a £10million jewellery collection and a Belgravia property portfolio, presumably funded by selling £3,000 facials to her equally elite customers. And she's no stranger to reality TV - she appeared in Channel 4's the Millionairess and Me in 2022. Bizarrely, she claims to have never watched the Real Housewives franchise. Nessie Welschinger NOT so much a housewife, Nessie is a former investment banker and now a baker to the stars. Her cakes - which sell for up to £15,000 - are enjoyed by A-Listers and she even whipped up a vanilla cake for Queen Elizabeth II for her 90th birthday. 8 Nessie Welschinger is a former investment banker and now a baker to the stars Credit: Getty Her company the Chelsea Cake Company counts London hotels Claridges and THe Ritz among her clients. But she is a relative newcomer to the world of reality TV, having only taken part in Bake Off: The Professionals in 2021. But the mum-of three is friends with co-star Juliet Angus who may have talked the relatively down-to-earth Nessie round. The 42-year-old Londoner says she met her husband mining mogul Remy at Limehouse tube station in 2006. Since then, their life has become decidedly more glamorous with a lavish Chelsea home and a 500-year-old country estate in the Cotswolds to their names. Panthea Parker Socialite Panthea flies the flag for retail therapy in the series. The 51-year-old tells how she took her cheating ex-husband's credit card on a £140,000 shopping spree in one day. 8 Panthea Parker flies the flag for retail therapy in the series Credit: Getty She said: 'It felt really good.' Born in Iran, Panthea moved to the UK aged four and grew up in Pimlico. While some of her wealthy mates may be snobby about her postcode, she boasts that her address meant she could park in front of Harrods. She partied in posh nightclub Annabel's in the 90s with A-list pals who, she says, have barred her from mentioning them on the show. Now married to top lawyer Edmund Parker, the couple count former home secretary Suella Braverman as a pal. In the trailer, she says she will grill King Charles III on Prince Harry's behaviour at a Buckingham Palace garden party before Ed warns her not to. The mum-of-three says she's a fan of botox and is planning to get a facelift next year. 'London has big heels to fill' THE Real Housewives Of Cheshire's Lauren Simon, 53, says . . . "We've bared our souls on Cheshire – divorces, marriages, vow renewals. London has a lot to live up to but they're going to smash it. I've met Amanda Cronin – beautiful, feisty, not afraid to marry and divorce as a hobby. Karen, who once filmed with us, is quietly confident. I'll never forget watching her eat a fish eye in Malta. Good luck, London – you've got big heels to fill.'

‘Everything, I'm telling you' – Micah Richards convinced SNAPCHAT risks derailing Fulham's Premier League season
Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker had plenty to say in response MICAH RICHARDS believes Fulham will struggle this season after the club banned players from using SNAPCHAT. Richards left Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer stunned as he predicted that the social media outlet could be the downfall of Marco Silva's side in the new campaign. 2 Micah Richards predicts a Snapchat ban could ruin Fulham's season Credit: Getty 2 Alex Iwobi and Co were stopped from sharing behind-the-scenes snips by club chiefs Credit: Snapchat Fulham stars regularly provided behind-the-scenes Snaps of their journey to last term's 11th place Premier League finish. Fans were left loving the brilliant banter between their Craven Cottage icons. The regular Snapchat posts also gave a glimpse into the players' lives at the London club's training ground and stadium. But Alex Iwobi revealed in July that he and his Fulham teammates had been banned from further Snapchat posts by a member of staff. He told followers: 'For those that are wondering why I haven't been snapping BTS (behind-the-scenes) in the changing room, one person in the media team has been saying I haven't been catching the right stuff. 'So, there's no more BTS. They also said I might get fined if I continue to do so, they're trying to ban snap in our changing room. 'That's why I ain't been snapping BTS, it's a shame, I know you guys enjoy seeing what my team-mates are like behind the scenes. But, I have to respect the rules.' Now, former Man City title winner Richards reckons that Fulham's Snapchat clampdown could come back to bite the club. BEST FREE BETS AND BETTING SIGN UP OFFERS Silva's side have only made one signing in back-up goalie Benjamin Lecomte, while two attackers have departed in Willian and Carlos Vinicius. But Richards believes the inability to post on social media will have a worse effect on morale than the lack of new arrivals. Fulham star Calvin Bassey shows Arsenal fans his bum at worst time possible Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Richards' fellow presenter Shearer first said: 'I don't see Fulham doing as well as they did last year. 'I've got them sixth-bottom, I think they'll have too much to have them in a relegation battle but just below last season.' Richards then noted: 'I agree. And their media person has stopped them using Snapchat, where you used to get all the insight, the videos and stuff. Great for chemistry.' This left Shearer amused as he responded: 'Excuse me, what the f**k has that got to do with the prediction, by the way?!' Richards continued: 'Everything, I'm telling you. You can't do the videos no more, you go in there, it's going to be silent, there's going to be no banter flying, so it could affect them. 'So I'm going to say they're going to be just below what they did last season.' Shearer gasped: 'No Snapchat, so they're going to be just below last season! That's the reason!' Host Lineker then summed up the conversation by adding: 'Too much c***chat, not enough Snapchat.'
