It's kind of amazing how quickly we've seen rumors and speculation fly surrounding the James Bond movies. Though the 2025 movie schedule still won't see 007 returning to theater screens, reports of Amazon-MGM's James Bond plans ramping up suggested that a big reveal was in the air. Sure enough, we've now gotten confirmation that the new producing team to succeed Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson has been hired.
The previously suggested team of Spider-Man veteran Amy Pascal and Harry Potter stalwart David Heyman are now officially the new heads of the Bond Cinematic Legacy. As revealed by an official press release from Amazon-MGM Studios, this hire would seem to be the launching pad to putting James Bond 26 onto that rumored fast track for a 2027 release. Making their first official statement, Pascal and Heyman has this to say about their latest undertaking:
James Bond is one of the most iconic characters in the history of cinema. We are humbled to follow in the footsteps of Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson who made so many extraordinary films and honored and excited to keep the spirit of Bond very much alive as he embarks on his next adventure.
For someone who not only follows this series professionally, but also has a huge investment as a fan, I think this hiring represents a pretty substantial pivot in the future of Commander Bond.

Antony Starr Says Goodbye to ‘The Boys' in Emotional Instagram Tribute

Antony Starr has officially hung up his Homelander cape. The actor took to Instagram on Wednesday, August 13, to commemorate the end of filming of The Boys' fifth and final season. 'Ok. Been waiting a little to let things settle and try and process the end of this show. The Boys,' Starr began his lengthy caption. 'Difficult (for me) to put into words what an incredible ride this has been. How much life and growth has occurred. How amazing the team is. It's truly been the highlight of my career.' Starr said he 'had no idea what was coming' when the Prime Video superhero series premiered back in 2019. 'This juggernaut left the station and never stopped. Except for that Covid moment. Oh and the strikes. That was a thing too,' he quipped. 'But apart from those two times, it never stopped, boldly making its mark on the television landscape. There's nothing else like it. It lives in its own lane.' Starr went on to thank the show's crew, production team, and his fellow castmates. 'The people at Amazon and Sony that took a chance on this insane thing (and made the great choice in casting me ) and all the other people that contributed in some way, big or small, to this beautiful, complex, warped, delicious show,' he wrote. Starr continued, 'I love this show. And I love this character. Truly. I will dearly miss heading to work, knowing what we were aiming for but never knowing where we would find ourselves by the end of the day…only that we would have fun and it would be creatively rewarding in the extreme. This complicated character allowed the space and range to discover and push boundaries in a way I never expected and I will always be grateful for this experience.' Nathan Mitchell via Eric Kripke on X Starr also gave a special shout-out to the show's creator, Eric Kripke, for helping him create the 'monster' that is Homelander. 'I will miss him, and you. Til we roll out the last season. When I'll see you,' he said. 'But this creative chapter is closed, and I'll miss it, brother.' Starr concluded his tribute by thanking The Boys' passionate fanbase, 'You are the life blood. Without you, we don't get to do this. And our fans are second to none. Mad love to you….and deepest respect for your taste ;),' he wrote. 'Okidoke people. We cooked for the last time. Can't wait to show you what we made. TIL that day, Homelander, signing off. Xo.' Starr's post featured behind-the-scenes and promotional photos from The Boys over the years, including a selfie he snapped while drenched in fake blood, an on-set pic of himself and Aya Cash filming her character Stormfront's near-fatal Season 2 fight, one of the show's first posters of Homelander, and more. Several of Starr's costars shared their love in the post's comments. 'Love you buddy ,' wrote Nathan Mitchell, a.k.a. Black Noir. Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight, commented, 'A gift to get to watch your masterclass in acting, let alone boogie w you during it. .' Karen Fukuhara, who plays Kimiko Miyashiro, wrote, 'What a f**king time we had. Grateful to have had this experience with you + greatly miss it already .' Kripke announced that Season 5 had wrapped filming by sharing a photo of his last time standing on the Seven meeting room set via Instagram on July 1. 'It's bittersweet, but my primary feeling is gratitude. We have the best cast, the best crew, the most fun story to write, and something that is impossible to predict: the right timing,' he captioned the pic. 'You wait your whole career to have maybe two of those things, if you're lucky. We got all of them. To #TheBoys family: thank you, I love you all. To the fans: thanks for watching, can't wait for you to see the grand finale. That's a wrap.' , Season 5 Premiere, TBA, Prime Video Solve the daily Crossword

Ed Sheeran Is Everyone and Everywhere for a Stalker Fan (Rupert Grint!) in ‘A Little More' Video

Ed Sheeran's stalker fan from 'Lego House' 14 years ago is back — and in recovery. (Well, kinda.) On Thursday, the musician released the video for his new single 'A Little More,' and it reconnects Sheeran's fans with a character he introduced in the + music video. In the original video, Rupert Grint (yes, Ron Weasley from Harry Potter) played a Sheeran superfan with a serious, unhealthy obsession — sneaking onstage during a show, hopping into Sheeran's tour bus, and even chewing his gum. More from Rolling Stone Katseye Tap Young Miko for Flirty Take on 'Gabriela' Slayyyter Drops Chaotic 'Beat Up Chanel$' as She Teases Sound Evolution Chappell Roan Finally Releases Long-Awaited Ballad 'The Subway' But in 'A Little More,' the Emil Nava-directed video picks up with Grint's character returning to his childhood home after serving time behind bars for stalking, only to find his room still plastered with Sheeran posters and merch. From there, Grint goes to 'Stalkers Anonymous' meetings, watches old Sheeran interviews, and tries to ease back into a normal life. Eventually, he spots Sheeran training at a nearby gym, but before he can spiral again, he meets a girl, falls in love, proposes, and moves in with her, slowly starting to let go of his obsession. Still, he seems to see Sheeran everywhere, even in the faces of the people at his support group. 'Cause I used to love you / Now every day I hate you just a little more,' sings Sheeran during it all. 'Life got better when I lost you / But every day I hate you just a little more and more and more.' In the final scenes, Grint's character walks down the aisle with his beautiful partner, though he hilariously keeps seeing Sheeran's face on everyone in the church, even her, when he uncovers her veil. The video wraps with a ridiculous post-credits scene from the wedding reception, featuring Sheeran in a full wedding dress, totally committed to the waltz choreography. (And Sheeran teases a new track from his upcoming album.) 'A Little More' is the follow-up single to 'Sapphire,' which features him singing with Arijit Singh in Hindi and Punjabi, and 'Azizam.' Sheeran even updated his Spotify page to a photo of Rupert Grint to continue the stalker fantasy. 'A Little More' precedes his album Play, which drops Sept. 12. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: broken heart leads to heart trouble for Taylor?

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Taylor has been making power moves ever since she and Ridge got back together on The Bold and the Beautiful. But what happens when her world falls apart (again)? Before Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) shipped off to Italy with Eric (John McCook) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Taylor (Rebecca Budig) asked him to set a date for their wedding. Prior to that, she asked him to marry her by presenting the ring he gave to her long ago. It's understandable that Taylor would be concerned about her relationship with Ridge. Everyone seems to think Brooke and Ridge were destined to be together, including Eric, who has been working tirelessly in the background to get his son to see the light. During their Italy trip, Ridge jumped into the water to save Brooke after she was knocked from Nick's (Jack Wagner) boat. If he hadn't been there, she would have drowned. After performing CPR and making sure she was all right, he pledged to make everything right, but we have yet to see what he means by that. In the preview for the week of August 11, Taylor tells Ridge that Brooke has a bright future ahead — with Nick. She adds that she's never taking her ring off. This doesn't make Ridge look happy. In fact, he looks downright miserable and we're guessing it's because he knows he has to call off the engagement. Truthfully, Ridge never should have let things get this far but he loves both of the women even though he's only meant to be with one of them. He has kids with both women but his ties to Brooke are, according to the fabric of the canvas, much stronger. After learning about how Ridge saved Brooke's life — and the reason he was on the shore that day to begin with — Taylor will likely surmise that her time with Ridge is limited. But credit to her for not going down with the ship without a fight. When she first arrived in Los Angeles, Taylor thought she was dying but it turned out to be Broken Heart Syndrome. She was diagnosed by Dr. Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech), who is in the middle of her own mess after fabricating Liam's (Scott Clifton) entire brain cancer scare to extort a million dollars from his father. (Now we have to wonder, can we trust her diagnosis? That's a whole other can of worms…) Knowing that she's prone to Broken Heart Syndrome, and knowing how those symptoms mirror actual heart issues, we have to wonder what will happen if/when Ridge calls off their engagement. With Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) out of town and most of the women around her tied to Brooke, Taylor won't have a lot of people she can turn to and if her symptoms start getting serious, she could be in trouble. We have a feeling that Ridge calling off the engagement will send Taylor into a spiral, and that will put him into an even bigger quandary as he tries to reconcile his feelings for both women while admitting that he messed up by leaving Brooke in the first place. She may have had Broken Heart Syndrome in the beginning, but something even more serious could put Taylor's health in jeopardy.
