Malaika Arora Hints At Second Marriage; Udaipur Files Producer Blasts Hindu Audience For Film's Failure
Last Updated: Malaika Arora spoke about her marriage plans after divorcing Arbaaz Khan. Udaipur Files producer Amit Jani slammed Hindu audiences after the film's box office failure. Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan got married in 1998. Arora was about 25 years old at that time. Four years into their marriage, they welcomed their son Arhaan Khan in 2002. After being married for 18 years, the couple announced their separation in 2016 and finalised their divorce in 2017. While Arbaaz Khan is now remarried to Sshura Khan, is a second marriage on the cards for Malaika as well? In a recent chat with Pinkvilla, Malaika mentioned that she is not closed off to the idea of another marriage. Udaipur Files, starring Vijay Raaz, released in theatres on August 8, 2025, but the film has failed to make an impression at the box office. According to trade portal Sacnilk, the movie has managed to collect only ₹1.54 crore so far, and is being labelled a flop. While much is known about his marriage and separation from Dimple Kapadia in the late 90s, not much is known about his relationship with actress Anita Advani. Anita Advani claims that she married Rajesh Khanna in a secret ceremony and lived with him till his death in 2012. However, since Rajesh and Dimple were only separated and not divorced, the second marriage couldn't have been legal. On India's 79th Independence Day, veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar took to X (formerly Twitter) to extend his wishes. He shared a message, reminding his followers that freedom was earned through immense sacrifices by numerous freedom fighters, not simply given. A troll reacted to Javed Akhtar's message with a disgraceful comment suggesting he should celebrate Independence Day on August 14 instead. For those unaware, India celebrates its Independence Day on August 15, while Pakistan's is on August 14. Javed Akhtar shut down the troll with a powerful reminder that his ancestors laid down their lives fighting for India's freedom. A proud father, Amitabh Bachchan has showcased his pride in his son Abhishek Bachchan, who was feted with the Best Actor for 'I Want To Talk" at THE Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2025, and said that he is the honour of their family. Viral trend: Gen Z embraces ‘Tired Girl' look to represent burnout culture, wears fatigue as fashion
Gen Z has embraced a bold new makeup style called the 'Tired Girl' trend. Instead of hiding fatigue, the viral social media trend highlights it. Actress Jenna Ortega, especially in her role as Wednesday Addams, has become the face of this aesthetic. There are dark smudges under the eyes. The skin is pale. Lips are tinted with muted, bruised shades. Thus, a deliberate look of exhaustion is created. It's both rebellion and art, rejecting social media's polished perfection. Ortega's look uses soft charcoal shadows, matte skin and diffused lips that appear natural yet curated. While inspired by 1990s grunge and K-beauty's 'hangover makeup', this version reflects today's burnout culture. On social media, creators share tutorials measuring smudge levels and colour tones with precision. Fiona Horne, the lead singer of Def FX, linked today's 'Tired Girl' makeup trend to her own past in the 1990s. She recalled seeing a TV segment on the look, where hosts joked it was nothing new since grunge had the same messy vibe. This made her reflect on her band days, when her makeup artist purposely enhanced her tired, edgy appearance for music videos. For Fiona, it proves Gen Z's tired look may be trending now, but artists like her were pioneering it back in 1993. 'So here's to leading the 'tired look' charge… way back in 1993,' she wrote on Instagram while sharing a video of her popular song. However, experts believe that the new trend, unlike grunge fashion, does not involve depth. 'Grunge grew from anti-establishment values, music scenes and community solidarity, where aesthetic and cultural rebellion were inseparable,' CNN quoted The Future Laboratory's Dan Hastings-Narayanin as saying. The trend forecaster calls the new trend 'fleeting, commodified and poised for replacement by the next viral moment'. Jenna Ortega's Wednesday look in Season 1 was created by hair and makeup artist Tara McDonald. 'The core principle was to achieve a polished but natural look using minimal products and highlighting Jenna's natural features,' CNN quoted McDonald as saying. McDonald kept Jenna Ortega's under-eye area natural rather than covering it. It made her dark circles stand out against the lighter foundation. The makeup artist applied eyeshadow lightly to add depth without looking heavy. For the lips, the effect aimed to look naturally flushed, giving a slightly bitten look.

Remember That Saiyaara Scene Where Vaani Called Krish Kapoor 'Mahesh'? Here's How It Was Shot
Last Updated: Saiyaara, starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, became a hit for its love story and music. A BTS clip of iconic scene is going viral. Saiyaara, starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in lead roles, became a rage for its simple love story and, of course, terrific tracks. While several moments from the film often resurface online, one such iconic scene was loved by fans – it was when Ahaan's Krish Kapoor takes care of an ailing Vaani, battling the initial stages of Alzheimer's. In the scene, Krish Kapoor takes Vaani away from the city to spend time with her. During a crucial scene, she fails to recognise Krish and thinks of him to be her former lover, Mahesh. This breaks Krish's heart, however, he decides to let go and continue with life. The emotional scene struck a chord with the audience, with many lauding their chemistry and secretly hoping they work out at the end. A behind-the-scenes (BTS) glimpse from the filming of the particular scene is going viral on the Internet. Watch it here: You know the scene don't you?🥺❤️ — farbrown✧*。 (@yesssandnoooo) August 16, 2025 Did you know it was Aditya Chopra who wanted a fresh casting for Saiyaara? Mohit Suri was one of the guest speakers at CNN-News18's Mumbai Townhall even t where he said that it was YRF Head Aditya Chopra who told him that the film would flop if it were made with 'established names". 'I really had put in a lot of my voice into the film," Suri shared. 'In this atmosphere where everyone was blowing up cars, I was making this love story with new people. I put in a lot of myself in writing the film, along with my assistant. I sent the script to YRF during the December holiday weekend and I chickened out. I thought, let me give him some solution—in the sense, provide some actors and known names who would back me and make this film. I so badly wanted to make this film," he explained. The filmmaker admitted that his original vision was to work with newcomers, but market realities made him doubt the decision. 'When I wanted approval, I said okay, I have this list of actors who are willing to do this film with me. I wrote it for new people but I really want to make this film. I don't know in this market who will put in this much money to make it with new people," he continued. That's when Aditya Chopra stepped in with a bold perspective. Mohit Suri shared, 'It was Adi Sir who told me, 'Why are you making this film? My distribution and marketing team will be very happy that you are selling me this film with known faces, but I am telling you your film will flop if you make this with established names. Saiyaara released on July 18 sans much promotions and went on to become one of the highest-grossing films of 2025 with a gross collection of over Rs 500 crore.
