Hot off his WrestleMania 41 match with Randy Orton, Joe Hendry makes another surprise appearance on WWE NXT.
During a back-and-forth promo in the ring with Trick Williams and NXT Champion Oba Femi, they were interrupted by the TNA World Champion, much to the delight of the live crowd.
Hendry informed Williams that he has changed, and the reason he hasn't been able to recapture the NXT Championship is because he is being entitled and isn't hungry enough anymore. Williams threatens Hendry, but ends up getting beaten up by both Femi and Hendry and tossed out of the ring.

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Former AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May has officially arrived in WWE NXT and has been given a new name. On the June 10th episode of NXT, it was revealed in a stylish vignette that she will now be known as Blake Monroe. The video package was styled like an old Hollywood newsreel, playing up her nickname, "The Glamour," before unveiling the new name. This came one week after her surprise debut on the June 3rd edition of NXT. During her debut, she immediately confronted NXT Women's Champion Jacy Jayne, signaling her intent to go straight to the top of the division. A Championship-Winning Run In AEW Monroe's arrival in WWE comes after a highly successful run in All Elite Wrestling, where she was one of the most featured stars in the women's division. She debuted in late 2023 as the protege of "Timeless" Toni Storm, a partnership that became a central storyline on AEW programming. Their story eventually evolved into a heated rivalry, which saw Monroe defeat Storm to capture the AEW Women's World Championship in front of her home country crowd at the All In event at Wembley Stadium in August 2024. In addition to her world title reign, she also won the 2024 Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Her rebranding as Blake Monroe marks a fresh start as she begins her journey in the WWE system. Monroe is already being positioned as a major star for the NXT brand. It was recently announced that she has signed with the prestigious Paradigm Talent Agency for outside representation. She joins a roster that includes other top WWE names like CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. She is scheduled to have her official NXT contract signing on next week's episode, likely escalating her new feud with Jacy Jayne. It will be interesting to see if May wins the title in her first outing to get a title shot or if WWE will wait for her to win gold. She will likely be called up to the main roster in the next few months. More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.

WWE has officially confirmed that WrestleMania 42 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 2026. The announcement confirms a return to the same city and venue as the record-breaking WrestleMania 41. The confirmation was made in a video package that aired during the June 9th episode of Monday Night RAW. The video featured WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque announcing the decision to bring the event back to Las Vegas. "Running It Back" After Record-Breaking WrestleMania 41 In the video package, Triple H shared that WrestleMania 41 was the most successful version of the event in history based on its records and numbers alone. Due to this, they are returning to Sin City and asked if they are ready to make next year's show another hit. "WrestleMania 41 was the most successful WrestleMania in history. We shattered every record from attendance to viewership. So we're running it back to the sports and entertainment capital in the world," Triple H stated in the video. The potential grand WWE plans behind abrupt end to Jey Uso's championship reign

Jey Uso got the Big E and Kofi Kingston treatment in the main event of 'Monday Night Raw.' Uso, just 51 days after finally slaying Gunther at WrestleMania 41 to win the World Heavyweight championship for the first time, lost the title back to The Ring General, who put him to sleep in the middle of the ring. I couldn't help but think of the popular Kingston, who lost his first WWE championship after 107 days to Brock Lesnar in 2019 on the season premiere of 'SmackDown' on Fox, and Big E, who lost his first WWE championship to Lesnar at Day 1 in 2022 so The Beast and Roman Reigns could main event WrestleMania 38 and unify their belts. Advertisement 3 Bill Goldberg poses in ring with Triple H during Bad Blood at State Farm Arena on October 5, 2024 Getty Images Both, like Uso, were wrestlers who were over with the audience, but just didn't feel like big enough stars for WWE to put sustained faith in them at the top of the card when the company had grander plans for the championships. At least Big E and Kingston went over 100 days.
