Dubai's Global Village hosted a memorable night with a stunning performance by the "Icon of the East," Assala Nasri, on the Main Stage. The celebrated artist captivated fans with a mix of timeless classics and contemporary hits, including tracks like 'Shokran,' 'Al Soura,' 'Ya Magnoon,' and 'Eshtagt Lak.'
A surprise moment occurred when Turkish superstar Ebru Gündeş, who had been backstage during Assala's preparations, joined the crowd to enjoy the performance. Assala introduced her to the audience, making the night even more special with a heartfelt display of camaraderie.

After a five-year hiatus, the famed American-Sudanese group Alsarah & The Nubatones will be touching down in Cairo as part of their brand new album 'Seasons of the Road' world tour. Jul 11, 2025 After a five-year hiatus, the acclaimed Sudanese band Alsarah & The Nubatones are coming back to perform live at Cairo Jazz Club 610 on July 16th. Fronted by singer-songwriter Alsarah, the Brooklyn-based outfit is known for reimagining Sudanese musical traditions through an East-African retro-pop lens, often incorporating elements of Nubian music, funk and hip-hop to explore themes of migration and diaspora. Now, the group will be touching down at CJC 610 to premiere their brand-new album 'Seasons of the Road', as part of their world tour. The night will also feature Sudanese singer-songwriter Hiba Elgizouli as the opening act for the band with her smooth blend of R&B, soul and Sudanese influences. Yara Sameh Syrian megastar Assala Nasri released for the her Egyptian dialect album "Daribet El Boad" on digital music platforms and YouTube. It is produced by Rotana and consists of 10 songs. In the album, Nasri cooperates with new collaborations with composers Tamer Ashour, Madian, Mohamed Shafaay, and more. Nasri dropped her last LP, " Thumma Ana " in June 2024. Born on May 15, 1969, the superstar is one of the best female singers in the Middle East. She made her music debut with the 1991 album 'Law Ta'rafou'. The album featured four songs in the oriental operatic tarab style and was an instant hit with heartbreaking songs like 'Ya Sabra Yana' and 'Samehtak Ketir'.
