A WOMAN has shared her weekend garden patio transformation that cost just £50 on Facebook.
As temperatures heat up for the week, homeowners around the UK are looking at ways to enjoy the warm weather.

Whether this is to bask in the sun, or sip on a nice beverage amid a busy schedule, the garden has proven an ideal place for some garden relaxation.
And it does not have to cost a fortune or multiple days to make your outdoor living space homely too.
One woman took to the Gardening On A Budget Official Facebook page, revealing the DIY transformation job she did in her garden where she created a patio just over the weekend.
She called it: "My Saturday achievement."

"Every measurement, every cut, every screw was done by me."
It just required some planks of wood, and bargain chair and table which she bought off Facebook.
"No where near perfect, but I can't wait to sit there and have a gin tonight," she added.
In comparing the before and after pictures, a newly raised wooden deck could be seen in the place of a grassed patch of the backyard.

The job also did not require a large amount of space, making it appropriate for even a small garden.
Other members of the group expressed the amazement with how effective the transformation was, with one writing: "Oh wow. That's so clever."

She also shared that she was able to enjoy sitting outside "in the sunshine" with her newly constructed patio.
It comes as other residents have also transformed their gardens in time for the sunnier days, with one using patio slabs bags of sand which also cost no more than £50.

This woman made the mini-patio in her front garden to enjoy a cup of tea in the sun, using £2.82 slabs from Selco.
In order to replicate this, experts have suggested applying a mortar or concrete mix bedding layer to provide a solid foundation, then placing the paving slabs onto the bedding layer.
Once the slabs have been laid, grout can be used to fill in the joints between them.

Not only did she shop in The Range sale and nab bargain buys from IKEA, but she was also able to save cash thanks to a handy Amazon hack. Posting on social media, Crystal gave her followers a before, during and after look at her living room overhaul, leaving many totally stunned. At the start of the video, viewers saw the content creator rip off the dark wallpaper from the walls. Just seconds later, the mother got to work on painting the walls, in an attempt to lighten the space. But a simple 10p kitchen hack can get rid of the pesky critters overnight and get your lawn looking lush again. They're legless grubs with tough, leathery skin and can grow up to 3cm in length. And experts say that infestations are rife this year. Although harmless to humans and pets, these pests can quickly turn your green grass into sparse, brown patches. This is because they damage the roots of your grass, causing it to die on the surface. New build homes and gardens are being hit hard in particular due to the leatherjackets' love of new turf. But the Gardening on a Budget Official Facebook group has provided a genius and budget-friendly solution. Commenting on a user's worse for wear garden, expert Suzanne recommended throwing slices of bread on the lawn. She said: "Throw several whole slices of bread on the lawn. "Then the starlings will come down and feast on the leatherjackets (works for me!)." 5 lawn mowing tips to get good grass this summer All effective pesticides to treat such pests have been banned in the UK since 2016. But there are other methods to tackle the leatherjackets and restore your lawn, according to Matthew Martin from nematode producer Nemasys. Martin told the Express: "To encourage them off the lawn, you can saturate the grass with black sacks or tarpaulin overnight. "In the morning, the grubs will have risen to the surface and will be easy to see." Once at the surface, you can discard of the pests yourself or leave them to the birds. Martin also recommended using nematodes, naturally occurring, microscopic worms that can target and kill the leatherjackets. According to Martin, they arrive as "dried granules" which can be mixed with water, such as in a watering can, before being applied to your lawn. He recommends applying them first thing in the morning or at night to "avoid weakening the nematodes with harsh direct sunlight". Ben Agnew, a grass expert at Lawnsmith, advises that "prevention is easier than the cure" but that nematodes are a good way of combating the grubs. He said: "Nematodes get rid of leatherjackets by infiltrating their outer casing and subsequently killing them. "Leatherjackets can cause considerable damage, and even after treatment, it can be challenging to restore your lawn to its former state. "It can take your garden some time to return to its former glory." But he says the best course of action is to remove the dead patches of grass from your lawn and re-seed the area. Applying fertiliser across your lawn can help maintain its overall health. Lawns with poor drainage are more likely to suffer from a leatherjacket infestation, so addressing this problem is also key.
