Diddy Trial Sees Heckler Disrupt Court as Judge Learns Anonymous Witness' Name Leaked Online

Disturbances were abound at the federal criminal trial of Sean 'Diddy Combs' on Tuesday, as a woman viewing the rap mogul's sex trafficking and racketeering trial from the gallery shouted out in the middle of open court about the defendant, disrupting ongoing testimony in the fifth week of proceedings, and the trial's judge discovered that the name of 'Mia,' a pseudonymous witness, was leaked online. The heckler on Tuesday is a woman named Jacqueline 'Candor' Williams, who has been a regular inside and outside of the courthouse at 500 Pearl Street in Lower Manhattan. She has been a fixture there, speaking to a smartphone in the front of the courthouse where members of the press await the departure of Combs' mother and sons each day; she's also been present in the court's overflow room where press and members of the public watch the untelevised trial on medium-sized closed circuit TV screens. On Tuesday, Williams secured a seat in the courtroom where the trial was being held. She then yelled, 'You're laughing at a Black man's legacy,' before adding, 'Pull your gun out, ninja, I dare you.' Combs remained calm as this all occurred, but as Williams and another witness inside the courtroom told reporter Emilie Hagan, the jailed mogul pivoted in his chair with his mouth open when he heard Williams mention a security guard's gun. Judge Arun Subramanian quickly ordered the woman removed from the courtroom. Williams said that she has been told not to return to the trial room but that she is still allowed to view proceedings from the overflow room. The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Williams via Instagram but did not immediately receive a reply. Her outburst caused a minor delay, and it occurred prior to the start of testimony from Eddy Garcia, a Los Angeles hotel security employee, when the 2016 incident occurred where Combs beat and dragged ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in L.A., all of which was caught on security footage. Garcia was a 33-year-old security guard at the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles in 2016. He testified about speaking with a nervous-sounding Combs and his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, about the footage of the rap mogul viciously beating then-girlfriend Ventura in a hallway there nearly a decade ago. He told the court he ultimately accepted $100,000 for what he believed was the only footage of the horrific incident. Garcia testified that he split the money with a manager and another staff member, another guard; however, he had filmed the footage to show to his wife, and video of Combs attacking Ventura eventually leaked to CNN. Garcia's testimony followed that of 'Mia,' a former personal assistant of Combs who used a pseudonym in court as part of her testimony, which included discussion of several alleged incidents where she says she was raped or sexually assaulted by Combs. On Tuesday, the identity of 'Mia' was leaked online by a YouTube streamer and posted on X (formerly Twitter) by another outlet. Prosecutor Maurene Comey raised the state's concerns about the leaked name after the YouTube streamer shared Mia's identity; the streamer has now been barred from the federal court and will no longer be able to cover court proceedings. Comey told the judge that a second outlet had posted the real name of 'Mia' on X and requested that the judge ensure the post was removed and the source who posted it online was barred from court. The state prosecutors have been asked to draft a possible court order for consideration. Combs was federally indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution in September and has been held in a Brooklyn federal jailhouse since then. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Temple man gets two life sentences in federal case

Waco, Tx (FOX 44) – A Temple man has been sentenced to two consecutive life sentences in federal court in a racketeering case. Demonta Daniels, also known as 'Tado' or 'Tato' was the final defendant in the Racketeering Influenced Corrupt Organization or RICO Act case. In addition, Daniels also received two 20-year concurrent sentences. According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, the 26-year-old Daniels conspired with Atorius Marquis Williams aka Lil Man, 28, and Trashawn Lamar Alexander aka Mad Max, 30, to commit four murders, multiple violent assaults, extortion, drug trafficking and armed robberies in furtherance of the criminal enterprise. Specifically, the indictment alleges four overt acts to include murder—one committed by Williams on Sept. 30, 2017, in Belton; the second, committed by Williams and Alexander on Dec. 10, 2017, in Temple; the third, committed by Williams and Daniels on Jan. 16, 2018, in Temple; and the fourth, committed by Williams, Daniels and Alexander on Jan. 31, 2018, in Temple. Additionally, prosecutors said the defendants conspired to affect commerce by robbery, committing acts of physical violence and threatening to commit acts of physical violence to steal controlled substances and proceeds from persons engaged in illegal drug distribution. Daniels, Williams and Alexander were also convicted of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence, namely robbery. A federal jury found all three men guilty in a February 2024 trial. In September, Williams and Alexander were sentenced to life in federal prison for three counts and a concurrent 20 years in prison for three additional counts. 'The multiple life sentences Daniels will serve, locked away in federal prison, reflects the egregiousness of this defendant's conduct and how important it is to keep violent criminals like Daniels and his co-conspirators off the streets,' said U.S. Attorney Justin R. Simmons for the Western District of Texas. 'I extend my deepest respect and gratitude to the AUSAs who prosecuted this case and our law enforcement partners at the local, state and federal levels, who committed countless hours and incredible skill to this investigation, leading to a successful trial verdict and multiple justified sentences.' Daniels is the tenth and final defendant in this case to be sentenced. Additionally, Dominic Johnson was sentenced in January 2023 to 70 months in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine; Desmond Wilkerson was sentenced in September 2023 to 71 months in prison for racketeering conspiracy; James Roy Whitfield Jr was sentenced on Feb. 13 to 102 months in prison for one count of interference with commerce by robbery and one count of aiding and abetting; Jason Mayse was sentenced on Feb. 13 to 40 months for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 100 kilograms or more of marijuana; Jyaraciel Whitfield was sentenced in September 2023 to 144 months in prison for one count of interference with commerce by robbery and one count of aiding and abetting; Christopher Meyers was sentenced in August 2022 to 144 months in prison for racketeering conspiracy; and Reginald Williams was sentenced in September 2023 to 96 months in prison for one count of interference with commerce by robbery and one count of aiding and abetting. The FBI, Temple Police Department, Belton Police Department, Bell County Organized Crime Unit, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, U.S. Marshals Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Cameron Police Department, and Hearne Police Department investigated the case with assistance from the Killeen Police Department and Bell County Sheriff's Department. North Carolina parents charged after son is struck and killed by SUV while walking with older brother

A 7-year-old boy was fatally struck by an SUV last week as he tried to cross a road in North Carolina – and now his parents have been arrested and charged for leaving him unsupervised, according to police. Legend Jenkins was hit by a Jeep Cherokee on May 27 at around 6 p.m. while walking with his 10-year-old brother outside a crosswalk in Gastonia, a city west of Charlotte. Their mother told a local news outlet that it was the first time she had allowed them to walk to a nearby grocery store alone. Jenkins was rushed to a nearby medical facility with life-threatening injuries and was later transferred to Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, where he succumbed to his injuries at around 10 p.m. Alabama Mother Charged With The Death Of Her 2 Children, 1 Year Old's Body Still Missing The boy's mother, Jessica Ivey, and his father, Sameule Jenkins, were arrested and charged with felony involuntary manslaughter, felony child neglect and misdemeanor child neglect, the Gastonia Police Department announced two days later. The parents appeared in court on Friday and were both issued a $1.5 million bond, WSOC-TV reports. Read On The Fox News App "While the Gastonia Police Department offers its deepest sympathies to the family for the heartbreaking loss of their child, the investigation revealed that the children involved were unsupervised at the time the boy stepped into traffic," the Gastonia Police Department said in a press release. "In such cases, adults must be held accountable for their responsibilities to ensure a safe environment for their children." The deadly incident took place in the 1000 block of West Hudson Boulevard and the SUV was being driven by a 76-year-old woman. Police said there is no evidence of speeding or wrongdoing on the part of the driver and no charges have been filed. The driver continues to be cooperative and the incident remains under active investigation, police said. Florida Man Arrested For Killing Infant With Car Following Argument With Woman: Police Summer Williams, a witness who tended to the victim at the scene, told WSOC-TV that she saw Legend step out in front of a car as his brother tried to pull him back. "That shocked me," said Williams, who said she stopped her car and held the child in her arms and rubbed him to comfort him. At that time, he was still alive. "Just letting him know that somebody was there and he wasn't alone," Williams said. "Even at night, I still see his face." The boy's father launched a GoFundMe page before he was arrested by police, sharing photos of the victim. In one black-and-white image, Legend is wearing a T-shirt with "#Mama's Boy" emblazoned across the front. "He was a momma's boy up and down. He was smart, creative and even if he was ill would always keep a smile," the post reads, noting Legend was about to turn 8 in August. "He loved playing any sports. He was truly a warrior, but after being revived close to twelve times, he unfortunately passed away. WE ASK that y'all send prayers for our family in this time of heartbreak and if you wish to give, anything would be very grateful."Original article source: North Carolina parents charged after son is struck and killed by SUV while walking with older brother
