Why Wix.com Stock Edged Higher Today
Key Points The DIY web design specialist posted double-digit growth rates in key second-quarter fundamentals. It raised its full-year revenue guidance on this momentum, but only slightly. 10 stocks we like better than › (NASDAQ: WIX) saw its stock close Wednesday barely in positive territory, as the market digested the DIY website company's latest quarterly earnings report. Cautiously optimistic investors pushed the stock 0.3% higher, which wasn't quite enough to meet the 0.7% increase of the bellwether S&P 500 index on the day. Encouraging growth on the top and bottom lines In second quarter, the company's revenue grew by 12% year over year to just under $490 million. Of its two reporting segments, creative subscriptions, its foundational website design services, rose by nearly 11% to $345 million and change. The smaller business solutions segment, meanwhile, enjoyed 17% growth to more than $144 million. A more robust improvement was seen on the bottom line, with non-GAAP (adjusted) net income zooming 37% higher to $136 million. On a per-share basis, that shook out to $2.28 per share. Both figures comfortably topped the consensus analyst estimates. The average pundit projection for revenue was a bit north of $487 million, while that for adjusted, per-share profitability stood at only $1.75. In a letter to shareholders, attributed the increases largely to "Strong demand, combined with better conversion in core markets and steadily higher monetization." Only a slight change in guidance also made a slight adjustment to the lower end of its full-year revenue guidance range. It's now expecting the top line to come in at just under $1.98 billion to $2 billion for the year, which would represent growth of at least 12% over the 2024 result. Previously, it was modeling $1.97 billion to $2 billion. Do the experts think is a buy right now? Galaxy Digital stock slumps despite positive Q2 earnings, CoreWeave deal expansion
Galaxy Digital (NASDAQ: GLXY) reported a net income of $30.7 million for the second quarter of 2025, or $0.08 per diluted share, marking a sharp turnaround from a net loss of $295 million in Q1 2025. However, markets reacted negatively to the results, with shares of Galaxy dropping nearly 8% at the time of publication. In the company's first earnings call as a Nasdaq-listed entity, Galaxy's management highlighted July as 'the strongest monthly financial performance for our Digital Assets operating business in the firm's history,' with positive results across its Global Markets, Asset Management, and Infrastructure Solutions business its balance sheet, Galaxy's total assets grew 43% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) to $9.086 billion, while total equity expanded 38% to $2.624 billion as of June 30, 2025. Galaxy held $1.181 billion in cash and stablecoins, providing ample liquidity to support strategic investments and the Helios data-center expansion. Balance Sheet Net Digital Assets rose to $1.274 billion, up 40% QoQ, and Venture, Fund, and Other Investments reached $718 million, a 15% increase. Meanwhile, Galaxy has continued to grow its footprint in the HPC/AI infrastructure business. The firm announced its anchor AI tenant, CoreWeave, has committed to the remaining portion of the available 800 MW of power capacity at Galaxy's Helios campus in Dickens County, Texas. Galaxy also agreed to acquire 160 acres and an additional 1 gigawatt (GW) of power at the same site, boosting its total energy footprint to 3.5 GW in the region. Galaxy's trading and lending desk both grew over the quarter. The company's adjusted gross profit totaled $71.4 million for its trading desk, a 10% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) rise, despite a 22% drop in trading volumes across the broader industry. Notably, Galaxy executed one of the largest USD-value bitcoin trades ever, selling over 80,000 BTC worth over $9 billion for a client, the Galaxy management team stated on its Earnings Call. Galaxy's Global Markets' earned an adjusted gross profit of $55.4 million, propelled by a 27% increase in average loan book size to $1.107 billion, which reflects growing institutional demand for margin lending. The company's Asset Management & Infrastructure Solutions business generated $16 million in adjusted gross profit, down 26% QoQ due to softer on-chain activity and lower staking rewards. Still, combined assets under management and staked assets swelled to approximately $9 billion, up 27% QoQ and bolstered by cryptocurrency price appreciation and net inflows.

Why Navitas Semiconductor Stock Dropped Today
Key Points Navitas met expectations for Q2 sales and earnings last night. Nevertheless, sales fell steeply year over year, and are forecast to fall again in Q3. Analysts see little hope of Navitas turning profitable for years to come. 10 stocks we like better than Navitas Semiconductor › Navitas Semiconductor (NASDAQ: NVTS), maker of power chips for charging electric devices, tumbled 15.2% through 10:30 a.m. ET Tuesday despite fulfilling analyst predictions in its second-quarter earnings report last night. Heading into the report, analysts forecast Navitas would lose $0.05 per share -- and it did. They also predicted sales would be about $14.4 million; Navitas reported nearly $14.5 million in sales. All of which sounds fine to me, so why is the stock down so much today? Navitas' Q2 earnings Turning to the report itself, here's what you'll find: Revenue may have met expectations, but it was still down more than 29% year over year. And although Navitas met expectations on earnings (i.e., losses) as well, the nickel it says it lost in the quarter was only a non-GAAP (adjusted) number. Earnings as calculated according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), in contrast, showed a loss of $0.25 per share. That's twice the sum Navitas lost per share a year ago. It's also 5 times the $0.05-per-share loss Wall Street is talking about. Is Navitas stock a sell? Management tried to put a brave face on this miserable result, with CEO Gene Sheridan insisting that "despite industrywide headwinds [he is] pleased with our teams' Q2 performance," and continuing to focus on making chips for the popular artificial intelligence and energy sectors. Meanwhile, though, the business keeps shrinking. Management forecast sales in Q3 will be only $10 million and, even non-GAAP, the company expects to continue losing money -- and probably not just in Q3. According to analysts polled by S&P Global Market Intelligence, losses will continue as far as the eye can see, to 2028 at least, and probably beyond. It's hard for me to recommend buying a stock like that. Should you buy stock in Navitas Semiconductor right now? Before you buy stock in Navitas Semiconductor, consider this: The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team just identified what they believe are the for investors to buy now… and Navitas Semiconductor wasn't one of them. The 10 stocks that made the cut could produce monster returns in the coming years.
