Police identify man who shot woman to death inside Gwinnett County home
Police have identified the man they say shot and killed a woman inside a Gwinnett County home last month.
Officers were called to a home on Hillsborough Drive on April 30 after a child called 911 and said someone had been shot.

When they got there, they found Tiffany Trim, 35, dead inside. Two children inside the home said the suspect had just left.
Investigators have now identified the suspect as Frederick Taylor, 39. They have issued warrants for felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

But police say they don't know where Taylor is.
Anyone who sees him or knows where he may be should call Gwinnett police.
Police say the children who were in the home are safe.

8-year-old shot in South Fulton
The South Fulton Police Department said one person was arrested after a 8-year-old was shot Friday night. Officers responded to the 4300 block of Cascade Road and found an 8-year-old child with a gunshot wound to the leg. 2 arrested after chase that started in Villa Rica, involved 2 collisions, police say
Police say two people from Atlanta were arrested after a chase that stretched from Villa Rica to Carrolton on Thursday. The Villa Rica Police Department said the suspects' truck damaged three other vehicles, but no one was reportedly hurt. Police said the truck traveled slowly before coming to a stop in the fast lane on Highway 61. Once a second police unit arrived, officers tried to contact the driver, later identified as Kevin Lynch. Police said they backed away from the truck and gave the driver commands. The truck began to drive away. The chase started from the stop location on Highway 61 and ended near Old Airport Road in Carrollton. Police said the truck hit two vehicles, and debris from one of those collisions struck a third vehicle. People in the truck were also seen throwing items out of the vehicle during the chase. Lynch and passenger Julia Brown were arrested on several charges. Lynch was charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of firearm by convicted felon, possession of a firearm during certain crimes, felony fleeing and eluding, several counts of hit and run and several other traffic offenses. Brown was charged with tampering with evidence, criminal trespass and obstruction and littering. Villa Rica police said Carroll County Sheriff's Office, Georgia State Patrol and Carrollton Police Department assisted in the arrest. Officials say this incident is still being investigated.

The Ghost Adventures star, 49, read a statement in court as Victoria was sentenced on Thursday, June 5, detailing how he felt when he found out that she had been plotting his murder and the subsequent fear he had for his safety. 'For seven years I thought I was in [the] most loving relationship of marriage with my best friend, someone I trusted [with my] whole heart and laughed with every day. Someone who made me feel like I was so — like I was her one and only,' an emotional Goodwin told the judge, per Court TV. "Now, discovering she put a hit out to kill me more than once, got blackmailed and spent almost all our savings to keep it quiet … This has led me to fear [for] my life,' he continued, through tears. 'I've hired armed security for weeks. Not knowing [whether] it was over or not.' Aaron, who filed for divorce from Victoria in March, told the judge that ever since he found out about the plot, he has been 'looking over' his shoulder and going through therapy to understand everything that has happened. He then described the feeling as a 'heartbreak no one should go through in life," stating, "The fact that this person did all this to me with no worry, no care or love in her heart for me, I will never feel the same." "I will never feel safe or be the same because of what she did. Especially when she gets out one day," Aaron added. 'Whether she [gets] minimum or maximum time, I still won't feel safe whenever she's released. I feel like this deserves prison time." Victoria was later sentenced to a minimum of 36 months and a maximum of 90 months in prison, according to KVVU-TV. She previously accepted a plea deal in April, pleading guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to commit murder. Victoria was initially taken into custody on March 6 on charges of soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder. She allegedly conspired with convicted murderer Grant Amato, with whom she began a relationship in March 2024, after seeing him in the Paramount+ true crime docuseries, Ctrl + Alt + Desire, per a police report.
