Remember when Diljit Dosanjh relished the most expensive coffee in London? The coffee cost him Rs 30,000. In a funny video, Diljit documented the whole experience.
He can be heard saying, 'I want to drink the Japan Typica coffee. This is too pricey. They are measuring and pouring everything despite taking so much money. I am going to drink something pure now. I am not going to have food today, this is the only thing I'll have. Each sip is worth Rs 7,000.' Diljit, in his signature style, added, "Itne mein India mein shaadi attend kar leta (I would have attended a wedding in India for this price)" He said, "Alag feel karoon, yeh toh pheeki hai coffee (Should I feel different... this is bland". In the video, he also quips, "Saath mein laddoo, boondi bhi le aao, it is London's most expensive coffee (Get some snacks with it too)."

A couple in China won the internet by tying the knot in a dog shelter. The wedding ceremony was completed in the presence of 200 rescued dogs and over 300 volunteers. The 31-year-old Yang hails from Tianjin City in northern China and operates the dog shelter, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported. The report mentioned that the man was once a rich construction boss with assets exceeding US$1.4 million. But the pandemic changed everything. As per the report, his business suffered huge losses because of the lockdown, forcing him to sell almost all of his possessions, including his house and two cars, in order to pay his debts and employees. Later, he became passionate about dog rescue and dedicated his life to making sure the furry friends receive all the love and care they deserve. The report also mentioned that he had lost five puppies to illness during his childhood, a heartbreak that played an important role in his decision. He also spoke to people for support and started to recruit volunteers. "I had only 23 yuan left in my pocket at that time. That was the entirety of the shelter's funds," Yang said as quoted. Zhao, the bride, joined the shelter as a volunteer in 2022. She was a university student at that time. She showed compassion for the dogs and even donated her entire part-time earnings to buy dog food. They started working together and grew closer. The decision to release the movie, co-starring Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, in Pakistan has sparked massive outrage online, with Diljit's Indian fans calling the move 'shameful" and 'disrespectful," especially in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack in April this year, where 26 innocent civilians were killed. Screenshots of theatre listings from Pakistani cities like Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Faisalabad and Sialkot have now gone viral on social media, confirming that Sardaar Ji 3 will have a full-fledged theatrical run across the border. The controversy has prompted not just from the film's release but also from the casting of Hania Aamir at a time when Indian film bodies have taken a hard stance against working with Pakistani artists. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), which has historically protested such collaborations, reiterated its demand for a ban on Pakistani talent after the recent terror attack. The film's trailer is also not accessible in India. Users attempting to watch it on YouTube are met with the message: 'This video is not available in your country." Despite the uproar, the producers released a statement claiming that the film had been shot 'well before the prevailing situation," and that Hania was cast before the Pahalgam tragedy. 'We had decided not to release the film or any of its promotional content in India until the situation becomes opportune," the statement read, describing the decision as one made out of 'solidarity" with the country. But fans aren't buying it. Diljit, who commands a massive fan base in India and overseas, is being called out for continuing to promote the film while remaining silent on the backlash. Instagram comment sections on his recent posts are flooded with disappointment. 'Shame on you, Diljit," wrote one user. 'Boycott Sardaar Ji 3," said another. A third added, 'Country first. You lost a fan today." This has opened a fresh debate about celebrity accountability in times of national distress. Actor Suniel Shetty recently took a strong stance supporting the ban on Pakistani artists, saying, 'Art and cricket can't happen with people who kill our innocents." Similarly, actor Harshvardhan Rane decided to exit the upcoming Sanam Teri Kasam 2 over the possible inclusion of Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane. The producers eventually confirmed her removal from the cast, bowing to the growing public sentiment.
