Travellers move back onto family park for third time in weeks
A convoy of caravans and other vehicles started driving onto Swanshurst Park on the outskirts of Moseley and Billesley on Wednesday, May 21, settling on the field near the play park.
The Friends of Swanshurst Park said members had notified the council with a view to initiating eviction proceedings.

An event scheduled for the community tomorrow, Saturday, May 24, was also cancelled.
The Friends group posted on Facebook: "We are cancelling our balsam bashing session this Saturday as the travellers are very close to the area we would be working.
"We will rearrange another date and post details as soon as it has been decided."
This is the third traveller incursion in the park since April with volunteers clearing up the mess left behind.
A Birmingham City Council spokesperson said previously " Birmingham City Council is committed to actively protecting its land and will take steps to recover this land where unauthorised encampments encroach upon it.
'The council has useable transit sites and plots for use by the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller community – which is in line with Government policy – and details of the Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Assessment carried out and updated in 2019 can be found on our website."
Stu Johnson wrote on Facebook: "I saw them arriving while I was on the bus earlier - going onto the pavement by the entrance to the car park, driving along the pavement then onto the grass once they've passed the trees.
"Needs to be more logs or railings I'm afraid."
Mary Hart said: "There have been three lots of travellers this year on Swanshurst.
"Each time a different group. Last time there were two groups at the same time. The clean-up is mostly done by volunteers with help from the council."

Driver disqualified after automatic speed camera caught him at 58mph on motorway
A motorist has been disqualified after they were clocked at 58mph by an automatic camera on a motorway. Kevin Yems was driving on the eastbound M4 near Earley when he was clocked at 58mph on September 2 last year. The driver was travelling between junctions 10 and 12 at the time. Man charged after disorder on Cradley Heath High Street
A man has been charged after disorder broke out on Cradley Heath High Street. West Midlands Police said that two men were discovered with stab wounds, shortly after 8.20pm on Sunday, August 3. Police said they were both taken to hospital with injuries, which were not life-threatening and also arrested. He appeared in court today (Wednesday, August 6). Police said another man, aged 42, currently remains in hospital and will be questioned in due course. The force increased patrols in the area. Anyone with information is urged to contact police. A police statement said: "We've charged a man following disorder in Cradley Heath High Street. "Two men were discovered with stab wounds shortly after 8.20pm on Sunday evening (3 August). "They were both taken to hospital with injuries which were not life-threatening and also arrested. "Alfie Evitts, 22, from Oldbury, has now been charged with wounding and possession of an offensive weapon. "He appeared before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today and was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at the city's Crown Court on 3 September. "The other man, aged 42, currently remains in hospital and will be questioned in due course. "We fully understand how shocking this incident will be to the community and we have increased patrols in the area. "Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 and quote 3908 of 3 August."

Third man tragically dies after horrific Dudley crash
A third man has sadly died following a three-vehicle collision in Upper Gornal this morning. The 22-year-old was taken to hospital but despite the efforts of medics has this afternoon passed away. Investigators are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision involving a Ford Transit van, a white Seat and a white Hyundai i20 vehicle, just after 7.30am today, Wednesday, August 6. The driver of the van was taken to hospital with minor injuries and has since been discharged. All three men who have died were in the Seat car. Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: 'This is a truly awful tragedy and our thoughts remain with loved ones of all those affected. 'Specialist family liaison officers are continuing to supporting them at this most dreadful time. "Investigations are progressing and we'd urge people not to speculate on the circumstances.
