Littler's last time at the oche

Luk who's back
Luke Littler has not featured in any pro event other than the Premier League since his run at the German Darts Grand Prix back in April.
The Nuke opted to skip the last four European Tour events to focus on the Premier League.
But Littler is expected to compete at the Nordic Darts Masters this week as he looks to add to his two World Series of Darts titles.
The world champion will take on Swedish newcomer Viktor Tingstrom in the first round of the tournament.
It will be Littler's Nordic Darts Masters debut after he withdrew from last year's edition due to family commitments.

Welcome to SunSport's coverage of the Nordic Darts Masters
THIS season's European tour continues with the return of the Nordic Darts Masters - and some of the best throwers are set to compete TONIGHT in Copenhagen.
Gerwyn Price beat Rob Cross 8-5 in a gruelling final to take home last year's crown.
And the Welsh superstar will be determined to win back-to-back titles following his disappointing Premier League Finals defeat to crowd favourite Luke Littler.
Speaking of Littler, the teen sensation takes part in the Nordic Darts Masters this year after missing out in 2024 due to family commitments.
He'll be desperate to make amends for losing out on the £275k jackpot after losing in the showpiece match to Luke Humphries at the Premier League Finals - someone who is also competing in Copenhagen.
Stephen Bunting, Nathan Aspinall and Rob Cross are all on the big lineup too, but Michael van Gerwen has withdrawn as he is dealing with his divorce from wife Daphne.

Revealed: The staggering amount Florian Wirtz will be paid a WEEK if he completes Liverpool move - with German set to earn more than Virgil van Dijk

Florian Wirtz is set to earn a staggering salary if he completes a move to Liverpool this summer. Arne Slot is looking to splash out to improve an already impressive squad after they won the Premier League and a deal for German playmaker Wirtz is edging closer. They would have to break the Premier League transfer record to secure Wirtz's signature after Bayer Leverkusen priced the 22-year-old at £120million. Liverpool have offered £100m plus an extra £13m in add ons but the German side are holding out on a fee which would overtake the £115m which Chelsea paid Brighton for Moses Caicedo. The attacking midfielder has made it clear that Liverpool are his choice and a move is reportedly 'considered a done deal'. The Reds will also spend big on Wirtz's salary, with the German set to be handed a five-year contract worth £355,000-a-week, according to Bild. The enormous salary would make him Liverpool's second highest paid player, above the £350,000-a-week Virgil van Dijk earns, but just below Mohamed Salah's weekly £400,000 earnings. Although Liverpool will have to break the bank for Wirtz, he previously admitted he is not motivated by money. 'I don't even care about how much money I have in my account or what I might earn in the future,' he told Sports Illustrated Germany this year. 'Of course, you should make sure you get a good contract. But for me, the sporting perspective is much more important than the money. 'And I think my parents would be angry if I were too fixated on money. After I moved to Leverkusen at 16, my parents managed my salary and sent me €150 (£126) a month. 'That shaped me. It was important to my parents that I didn't do anything stupid with my salary.' The German star is edging closer to an Anfield switch and has been convinced by Slot's clear plan of where he will play in Liverpool's set-up as a No 10. And on Wednesday, Wirtz appeared to nod when asked by MailSport if he was 'excited for Liverpool ' after Germany's Nations League defeat by Portugal. Wirtz would become Liverpool's third signing of the summer, and their second from Leverkusen after the champions scooped Jeremie Frimpong for £29.5m. The right wing back penned a five-year contract at Anfield last week after completing his medical last month.

‘They looked bored' – Roy Keane slams England's ‘poor attitude' as Thomas Tuchel admits ‘I didn't like' Andorra effort

ROY KEANE blasted England's "poor" attitude in their limp 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Andorra. The Republic of Ireland legend accused the Three Lions of "looking bored" in Barcelona on Saturday. 3 England made it three wins out of three for Thomas Tuchel, who hasn't conceded a goal yet, but their performance left a lot to be desired. After a dreary first half, which saw England booed off, Harry Kane found a breakthrough by tapping in Noni Madueke 's cross. That ended up as the only goal in the entire 93 minutes as Tuchel's players were accused of playing "walking football" by Keane's ITV co-panellist Karen Carney against the minnows. Keane, 53, was also critical of Kane's post-match assessment which included the captain saying, "We take the points and move on." The iconic Manchester United captain raged: "I don't like the message from your senior players is that the job was done, we'll take it, whatever. "You should be setting your standards higher than that. You should be saying they should have scored three or four more. "We defend the players, say it's the end of the season and talk about the hot conditions, and Kane looked shattered. "I worry when I see players getting bored. I felt some of the players got bored in the last half an hour and I don't like to see that. "It's when the goal went in, it was job done. It's Andorra - go and get some more goals! Tuchel has since seemingly agreed, saying that England "played with fire". Andorra v England match played in near empty stadium The German boss said: "I didn't like the attitude how we ended the game, not the whole game, it's a big difference. "I liked the attitude in the first 25 minutes, but I didn't like the last half an hour. We lacked the seriousness and urgency needed in a World Cup qualifier. "We played with fire and I didn't like the attitude at the end. I didn't like the body language, and I don't think it's what the occasion needed." Tuchel also told Three Lions fans their vile chants about Prime Minister Keir Starmer were "not acceptable." Some of the travelling supporters called Starmer a "c**t", "w**ker" and "nonce", as well as singing "no surrender" during the national anthem in a reference to the IRA. The RCDE stadium, home of Spanish side Espanyol, looked noticeably empty during the match. Sparse pockets of fans spread across the stands in Barcelona with just shy of 7,000 tickets sold to England fans for the match inside the 40,000-seat stadium. 3

Christian Eriksen nets winner as Northern Ireland suffer defeat in Denmark

It was a second successive friendly defeat for Michael O'Neill's side, after March's 5-1 thrashing in Sweden, but was a much better defensive performance away to top-level opposition in their penultimate match before the World Cup qualifying campaign starts in Luxembourg in September. O'Neill made seven changes from that heavy loss in Stockholm, with Conor Bradley, Trai Hume and Daniel Ballard among those returning while Conor Hazard started in goal. The starting eleven had an average age of just 23.4. Denmark take the lead⚽ Christian Eriksen makes no mistake from close range! 🎯#BBCFootball — BBC SPORT NI (@BBCSPORTNI) June 7, 2025 The Parken Stadium produced its usual rowdy atmosphere before kick-off but was silenced six minutes in. Good Northern Ireland pressure in the corner forced Denmark's 18-year-old debutant Lucas Hogsberg into a poor ball out of defence and the bright Justin Devenny quickly intercepted. The Crystal Palace man, starting at left wing-back, cut into the box and his cross deflected off Joachim Andersen before Hojbjerg, under pressure from Shea Charles, turned the ball into his own net. Isaksen looked like Denmark's best outlet early on as the Lazio winger showed good trickery to break into the box more than once, but he was guilty of a dive while in a foot race with Northern Ireland skipper Hume, not fooling Cypriot referee Menelaos Antoniou. It's all over in Copenhagen. — Northern Ireland (@NorthernIreland) June 7, 2025 Denmark, who are in Scotland's World Cup qualifying group, unsurprisingly bossed possession but frustrations grew as Northern Ireland defended well, with Ballard heading away a succession of crosses. It took until the second minute of time added on for Denmark to register a shot on target but when they did, they scored. Isaksen, having moved into a central area, was found by Brentford's Mikkel Damsgaard on the edge of the box and curled a shot around Hume into the bottom corner of Hazard's net. It was Hazard's last involvement. The Plymouth goalkeeper, who had needed treatment after an earlier collision with Rasmus Hojlund, was replaced by Pierce Charles at the break. Pegged back, Northern Ireland struggled to get forward again. Bradley was having a quiet night and Dion Charles, surely low on confidence after a goalless start to life at Huddersfield, was unable to hold the ball up. Michael O'Neill named a young side (Brian Lawless/PA) Denmark were applying the pressure and Pierce Charles had to get down smartly to keep out Christian Norgaard's header. Then, from a corner, Ballard headed Andersen's header off the line before Hume made another goal-line block to deny Hogsberg. It was turning into a drab match but Denmark took the lead as they cut Northern Ireland open too easily. Isaksen's low cross was deflected by both Hume and Ballard before Eriksen, who ghosted away from Shea Charles, tucked in his 45th international goal. Mika Biereth was denied a third by an offside flag and Pierce Charles was kept busy, making an excellent double save from Mathias Kvistgaarden and Morten Hjulmand late on.
