Good Morning Britain host congratulates ITV star on joyous baby news
The duo revealed that the 30-year-old has made history by becoming the first ever Love Islander to be awarded an MBE in this year's King's Birthday Honours list.
Before delving into the prestigious accolade, Susanna was quick to mention her exciting news.
She remarked: "Georgia joins us now. Very good morning to you. Congratulations, not just on the MBE but also on the fact that you are expecting a baby.
"You may turn up to the Palace to receive your award with a babe in arms, depending on when it's given out."
To which Georgia responded: "I may be able to tell my child one day that, actually, yeah, you did get to meet someone from the Royal Family, you were there, which would be amazing."
The former reality star disclosed that her baby is due on November 5, believing there's a high chance she'll still be pregnant when receiving her MBE, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The reason for being honoured with the accolade comes after her efforts to tackle violence against women and girls.
In 2023, Georgia collaborated with the government on the Online Safety Act after her ex-partner shared sexual footage of them both online without her consent, which resulted in him being jailed for 21 months.
Georgia opened up to Good Morning Britain viewers, sharing: "I became a victim of intimate image-based sexual abuse back in 2020. It was something that I decided to get rid of my anonymity on and take it to court.
"I have one of the most popular revenge porn cases in the whole of the UK. Something that had a lot of media attention. Not only did I have to go to court and face my abuser, I also had to face the entire UK media, and it was a very public spectacle, which was really hard."
Reflecting on the intense media exposure her case received, Georgia revealed that it ultimately led to a change in UK law.
As they wrapped up the interview, Susanna extended her best wishes with: "Good luck with the baby and huge congratulations, Georgia. You've had such a massive impact in this area.
"To get the law changed, which is such a positive result for so many people out of something so devastating that happened to you, takes an enormous amount of strength, and it is hugely deserved. Congratulations."
In April, Georgia excitedly informed her followers about her pregnancy by sharing with them a charming photo where she and her partner Jack Stacey are holding a baby scan picture, teasing that they had been keeping a 'secret'.

'MAGA Barbie' Savannah Chrisley shares UNHINGED message from woke critic: 'Imagine saying such vile things'
Savannah Chrisley took to Instagram Stories Sunday showing her 3.1 million followers a series of 'vile' messages she received seemingly slamming her for her politics. 'Imagine saying such vile things to someone,' the 27-year-old reality star said in text overlay over a screengrab of the message. Savannah, who has been one of the most vocal celebrity supporters in favor of President Donald Trump, was also referred to as a 'disgusting maga pig' by the person sending them the message. A second message appeared to take aim at the Atlanta native's family wealth and work ethic. It read: 'Not having to work for anything in your life is crazyyyyy.' A third message alluded to a pregnancy, though Savannah has not publicly said she is expecting any children, and it was not clear why it was mentioned. It read, 'Hopefully you miscarry.' Savannah had worked tirelessly on behalf of her parents after they went into custody and w ere released via presidential pardon in May. She has been something of a firebrand in her vocal support of Commander-in-Chief, as she's often seen wearing Trump-branded apparel. Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, were found guilty by a Georgia jury in November of 2022 of accusations of tax evasion and more than $30 million in bank fraud. Todd and Julie were sentenced to a collective 17 years in custody and began serving them in January of 2023. Todd had been serving a 12-year sentence, which was later reduced to 10 years, while Julie was serving a seven-year sentence at prisons in Florida and Kentucky respectively, prior to their pardon. Savannah in February told People about her hopes to gain an audience with Trump, who she supported during the 2024 election cycle, speaking in July at the Republican National Convention. 'I know that I am going through the proper channels to do so,' Savannah said of the pardon process. 'And I'm going to bring as much awareness to it as possible because these things should not happen.' Savannah's statement came about three months after exclusively reported the day after the election that Todd Chrisley had been 'jumping for joy in prison' over Trump's defeat of Democratic challenger Kamala Harris. 'Savannah truly believes that Trump will pardon her parents,' a source told November 6. The couple - who were initially indicted in August 2019 - said they were innocent of the crimes they were convicted of and had filed multiple appeals to have their sentences reversed. Savannah said that she planned to inform Trump about the 'corruption in Fulton County,' Georgia and 'how the judge handled the case' in asking for the pardons. The argument might have ultimately hit home for the president, who repeatedly accused state election officials of corruption in his January 2, 2021 phone call to them in hopes of overturning the win for Joe Biden. In the infamous call, the president asked election officials to 'find 11,780 votes' in his favor in the 2020 presidential election. Savannah told People her family 'stood in the truth' and 'stood in what we knew to be the truth' but were ultimately let down by a broken legal system that left her family in a state of shock after her parents were convicted and sentenced. 'We just saw all of it and we're like, "There's no way. There's no way it's going to end this way,"' Savannah said. 'But, it did.' The Chrisley Knows Best star told the outlet of how the the family's problems have impacted her, as she has taken over the role of legal guardian of her siblings Grayson, 19, and Chloe, 12, when she was 25. 'I think that I've gone through a lot of s*** in my life, I really have,' Savannah told the outlet. 'And I've gone through a lot of things that I've never even publicly spoken about. 'When you fight silent battles, resilience just comes. When you fight silent battles, there was no one that was there for you.' Savannah apparently found a sympathetic ear from Trump about what she said was rampant 'corruption' in Georgia, a claim Trump himself made in trying to persuade state election officials to 'find 11,780 votes' for him in the 2020 presidential election The Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast host explained how she has become more resilient with age, wisdom and life experience. 'Whether you didn't allow someone to be there for you, or whether you just didn't have people there, you just learned to pick yourself up,' she said. Savannah told the outlet that her father Todd 'was a constant encourager' who imbued her with an upbeat attitude ready to take on all challenges life presents. 'I come from a place [where] my dad was very much just like, "Come on, we can do this. We can do this. You can do anything a man can do, if not better,"' Savannah said. Savannah said that her ability to bounce back from adversity comes from 'having that encouragement' from her loved ones. Savannah made an appearance at a Turning Point USA event over the weekend 'Also, knowing that I don't ever want to give up, and I want to give my future children something to look at and be proud of,' Savannah told the outlet. 'I have such a fight mentality in me. I'm a Leo to its core. So, I just don't give up.' In November, a source told that Savannah had been tirelessly working to free her parents over the past few years, spurring her appearance at the RNC. 'Ever since they were convicted she has spent every waking hour campaigning to free them and when she found the loophole through the RNC she jumped on it,' the source said. Savannah 'took that stage in the hope of seeing her parents walk out of jail and it will likely happen' and was 'gloating' over Trump's election day dominance. The source added that 'everyone is just hoping that she stops going on' in her efforts to upend the legal decisions, but it is clear she is moving forward.
