No bottles or containers will be allowed at an upcoming international A-level football match featuring Hong Kong, China men's football squad, the Kai Tak Sports Park said on Sunday.
The SAR team will face India in the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers Final Round at 8pm on Tuesday, in the squad's debut at the new Kai Tak Stadium.
The sports park said the arrangements for the match will be different from those of previous concerts due to security reasons.
Water bottles or containers of any size, with our without lids, will not be allowed in the venue, it said, urging spectators to arrive earlier for security checks.
Meanwhile, the Transport Department will also implement special traffic arrangements that day.
The department said it had also asked public transport providers to boost services for when the match ends. Tuen Ma Line services will be enhanced during that time, and 10 special bus routes have been lined up to transport spectators to major districts.
It called on football fans to take public transport and avoid driving to the stadium.

The 28-year-old finished top of the podium in the men's Taijiquan-Taijijian combined event with a total score of 19.526. Japan's Tomohiro Araya placed second, while Tay Yu Xuan from Singapore took the bronze. Yeung last competed at the World Games 2022 in the United States, when he brought home a bronze medal in the same event. Wong Po-kee, the delegation's chef de mission and honorary deputy secretary general of the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, said Yeung delivered a strong and determined performance in this year's World Games. "Whether wielding the sword or executing bare-handed forms, he demonstrated ease and confidence, delivering his moves with a harmonious blend of softness and strength, powered by profound internal energy," Wong said. "Through his consistent and outstanding performance, he got high scores in both rounds and successfully clinched the gold medal, promoting the national essence. "His achievement is truly commendable and worthy of celebration." Yeung's achievement came after Grace Lau claimed gold in women's karate on Friday night.
