Looking for a staycation that pulls out all the stops?
It can be attained right here in the Garden State.
According to Esquire.com's list The Best New Hotels in the World 2025, Pendry Natirar in Peapack is the best hotel in New Jersey and among the best around the world.
The popular gentlemen's magazine list only contains 42 properties in which writer's of the publication reviewed themselves by becoming guests at each entity.
Here is what the popular magazine said about Pendry Natirar:
"Did I expect my favorite hotel stay of the year to be in I-don't-know-where New Jersey? (Peapack, formally.) Absolutely not. Am I still thinking about it? All the time. Perched on top of a towering hill, the hotel grounds boast a gorgeous wellness spa, a cozy restaurant, and a lobby that looks like it belongs somewhere in the Biltmore. The kicker: Pendry Natirar is fueled by the sprawling farm on the property, which you can tour, and where you can say hi to the chickens and pick up goodies. (I'm still using the honey they gave me.) It all makes for an intimate, Hudson-esque adventure — but without the hike upstate. Rooms from $675." — Brady Langmann
Pendry Natirar is a stately escape on 500 rolling acres in Somerset County, constructed with 68 guestrooms and 21 suites. The hotel has luxurious and comfortable amenities with a combination of rich traditional and contemporary country influence and style. The location has a winery, afternoon teas and offers pilates classes to guests.
Pendry Natirar is where daily life is laced with inspiration and where nature guides us from season to season in splendor. A haven from the bustling tempo of the city's pace, and located just an hour outside of New York City, we have reimagined Natirar's historic grounds into an idyllic retreat layered with luxury, comfort and endless allure, according to Pendry.com.

Samsung tipped to be making its own Meta Ray-Ban-style smart glasses — here's when they launch

Samsung is reportedly developing a pair of Meta Ray-Ban-esque smart glasses that it hopes to reveal before the end of 2026. These would be separate from the full AR glasses, dubbed Project Haean, in development in a partnership with Google. According to the Korean publication Seoul Economic Daily (via Jukanlosreve), the display-free Samsung glasses will feature speakers, a microphone and a camera, similar to the Meta Ray-Ban glasses. SE Daily claims that Samsung is developing its smart glasses as a way to take a 'leading position' in the burgeoning market. An unnamed industry insider in the machine-translated article stated that Samsung 'must also develop its own brand' separate from Google. It's not clear from the report if Samsung will develop an in-house version of Android XR that connects to the glasses like it does with its Android-based One UI operating system. Or if the AI features will be in a separate app connected to your Galaxy phone or smart watch. With the rise of AI, Samsung apparently believes that smart glasses will supplant smartphones as the 'next generation of devices.' The simple goal is to create an affordable pair of smart glasses with AI-powered features that don't require a large mixed-reality headset. No pricing was shared, but Meta sells the Ray-Bans between $249 and $299, depending on the frames, so that is a baseline for display-free smart glasses. Samsung's Project Moohan XR headset is slated to arrive later this year alongside a set of Android-powered smart glasses around the same time. Samsung is reportedly still finalizing features and specifications of the glasses, but they are supposed to run on the same Android XR operating system as Moohan. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. These glasses would be more akin to the Xreal One Pro AR glasses. Samsung is supposedly going to emphasize comfort with Project Haean by offering options to adjust the glasses based on your face shape. As of this writing, we don't know when exactly Project Moohan or Haean will be released beyond vague 'this year' claims. For now, we have to sit tight and wait to see what Samsung has in store for us this year and next.

One of the most valuable street-to-sea parcels along the California coast — with unobstructed views from the ocean to Pebble Beach Golf Links' legendary 18th fairway and beyond — may set a sales record at the listing price of $57.5 million, according to Sotheby's International Realty. The highest residential sale ever recorded in Pebble Beach, along the Central Coast, stands at $45 million, according to a representative of Sotheby's. 'Gem Cove' is located on two lots on a 2.24-acre, oceanfront parcel adjacent to The Lodge at Pebble Beach. The property also takes in views of Stillwater Cove, Carmel Beach and Point Lobos. 'Truly a once-in-a-lifetime opening to secure your position in one of the most sought-after areas in the world,' the property listing states. 'This unforgettable European-esque estate is guaranteed to astound, impress and amaze the most astute buyer.' The residence, built in 2003, with six bedrooms and a total of 10 bathrooms, sprawls across 11,223 square feet of living space. The property hit the market Monday. 'From the substantial living room to the chef's kitchen/great room, the expansive primary bedroom suite to the expertly curated grounds, all with big ocean views — you will love living here, entertaining family and hosting guests at this prestigious estate,' according to the listing. Canning Properties Group of Sotheby's International Realty – Carmel Brokerage holds the listing. The primary owners of the home are Carl H. Lindner III and Martha Lindner, according to public property records. Lindner is part of a U.S. billionaire family, CEO of American Financial Group, and a majority owner and CEO of the MLS soccer team FC Cincinnati.
