On Holding Q2 Revenue Soars 32%, Raises Guidance on Strong Momentum
By Karen Roman On Holding AG (NYSE: ONON) said second quarter net sales increased 32% to CHF 749.2 million and direct to consumer net sales rose by 47.2% to CHF 308.3 million. Gross profit margin increased to 61.5% from 59.9% and adjusted EBITDA margin rose to 18.2% from 16.0%, the company stated. Adjusted diluted earnings per share decreased to CHF (0.09) from CHF 0.14. On rasied its full year outlook and now expects net sales to be up at least 31% year-over-year on a constant currency basis, compared to the previous target of 28%. Gross profit margin is aimed between 60.5-61.0%, it said. 'We achieved a remarkable 38.2% net sales growth on a constant currency basis, not by chasing trends, but by building a resilient brand for decades ahead,' said David Allemann, On's co-founder and Executive Co-Chairman. Every once in a while, I awake at night in a cold sweat and think, 'I miss old Twitter.' (Quick note: I will not be referring to Twitter by its new name, because I hate it and I doubt much thought was put into it anyway.) I truly think Twitter used to be the internet at its best: It was crowdsourced and democratized in a way that the rest of the internet was quickly ceasing to be, and that meant that information could travel quickly and usually — USUALLY — ended up being fact-checked toward the truth, given enough time. It was also just where all the funniest people on the internet hung out. Related: So anyway, people started sharing their favorite tweet of all time in this thread (by the way, if you want to share your favorite tweet of all time, please send it to me here or drop it in the comments!), and I've been reading through the comments and reminiscing about what we used to have. I personally think about this tweet, like, maybe once a week: It's been 10 YEARS since this tweet!!! Can you believe it? Former Longhorns WR makes NFL debut with Vikings
Over the weekend, many former Longhorns reached career milestones as the NFL preseason began. A lot of attention was focused on Matthew Golden and Quinn Ewers, but they were not the only ones to make their debuts. Former Longhorns wide receiver Silas Bolden also got some action for the Vikings, playing various roles. Against the Texans, the California native saw snaps on special teams and offense. He returned one punt for eight yards and hauled in one catch for three yards. The former Longhorn also dropped one catch as 21 Vikings players saw at least one target. While Bolden was hoping to make a better first impression, he showed his value. During his college career, Bolden carved out a role due to his speed. In his only season in the burnt orange, he recorded 267 receiving yards on 23 receptions. As the Longhorns' punt returner, he made an impact with speed, with 315 yards on 30 returns. He also found the end zone once and made the most of his snaps. While he went undrafted, the Vikings made adding Bolden a priority. If used in the right situation, he could be a weapon as he continues to improve. The Vikings are hoping that happens while he is in their system, which has produced a few notable wide receivers. Since Bolden is not a lock to make the roster, he will be a player to watch over the next few weeks. The Vikings are also stacked at wide receiver with the electric duo of Jordan Allison and Justin Jefferson. While the Rancho Cucamonga High School product will have to battle for targets, he does have a path to the roster through special teams. This weekend, Bolden will get to make his case for a roster spot when the Vikings take on the New England Patriots.
