The Houston Rockets were cruising to an easy 131-116 Game 5 win over the Warriors on Wednesday at Toyota Center when all hell broke loose.

Midway through the fourth quarter, Dillon Brooks was fouled by Moses Moody on a defensive rebound. As Pat Spencer walked away, he was bumped by Alperen Şengün.
Before Trayce Jackson-Davis could shove Şengün away, Spencer levied a headbutt on the Rockets' NBA All-Star.
The referees reviewed the play and assessed offsetting technical fouls to Jackson-Davis and Şengün.
Spencer received a technical foul and was ejected for an 'illegal headbutt' on Şengün.
The Rockets had built a massive lead and coach Steve Kerr pulled his starters midway through the third quarter. The Warriors' reserves, led by Spencer, made the score closer than the game indicated.

The Warriors and Rockets aren't done battling, though, as they will travel back to the Bay Area for Game 6 on Friday night at Chase Center.
Expect tensions to remain high until this first-round NBA playoff series is over.

Tom Brady's former coach makes bold suggestion to honor the legendary QB
Tom Brady's former coach makes bold suggestion to honor the legendary QB Around the world, there are a handful of trophies that can be recognized no matter where you are in the world. The Lombardi Trophy is one of those and winning one is the ultimate career goal of everyone who enters the National Football League. Bill Belichick made a career out of consistently winning them, raising the trophy a whopping eight times as a coach. Anytime the future Hall of Famer talks about the game or makes a suggestion, people listen. That is why when Tom Brady's former coach spoke with Jim Gray on the Let's Go! Podcast this week and floated an interesting idea regarding the Lombardi Trophy. It centers around his former quarterback and the renaming of the trophy itself. 'Players win games, you can win games without good players, I don't care who the coach is, you can't win. I found out when I had Harry Banks, Pepper Johnson, Jim Burt, everyone, all those guys. . .It's (Tom) Brady, it's (Willie) McGinest, it's (Mike) Vrabel. . .I didn't make any tackles, I didn't make any kicks. . .as a coach you wanna give your players a chance to win, you want to put them in a position where if they go out there they'' have a chance to win, thats what Coach (Bill) Parcells taught me. . .maybe they should name it (Lombardi Trophy) the Brady Trophy.' The NBA has shown that it will proactively rename trophies to honor players in its history. Vince Lombardi, of course, is why the trophy is titled what it is. After all, the Packers' head coach led the NFC North team to two straight Super Bowl victories in the first two inaugural events, back when commercials for the game cost a mere $42,000. While the trophy isn't likely to change names, the league could change the name of the MVP Award, like the NBA did by naming it the Bill Russell Award, just one suggestion.

Boston Celtics jersey history No. 20 - Jabari Parker (2021-22)
The Boston Celtics have had players suiting up in a total of 68 different jersey numbers (and have three others not part of any numerical series) since their founding at the dawn of the Basketball Association of America (BAA -- the league that would become today's NBA), worn by well over 500 players in the course of Celtics history. To commemorate the players who wore those numbers, Celtics Wire is covering the entire history of jersey numbers and the players who sported them since the founding of the team. With 25 of those jerseys now retired to honor some of the greatest Celtics to wear those jerseys, there is a lot of history to cover. And for today's article, we will continue with the 26th of 31 people to wear the No. 20 jersey, Boston forward alum Jabari Parker. After ending his college career at Duke, Parker was picked up with the second overall selection of the 2014 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. The Chicago, Illinois native would play the first four seasons of his pro career with the Bucks. He would also have stints with the Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks, and Sacramento Kings before signing with Boston for the final two seasons of his NBA career. Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle During his time suiting up for the Celtics, Parker wore only jersey No. 20 and put up 5.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
