MUM'S GOT WORDS Love Island's Harry 'DISOWNED' by furious mum who says 'I've never seen him like this'
LOVE Island's Harry has been 'disowned' by his furious mum, who said on Aftersun: 'I've never seen him like this.'
On Aftersun, host Maya Jama caught up with Harry's mum, who was quick to say: 'I don't recognise him, who is this child?'

She continued: 'He never introduces me to anyone, only the ones that, you know.'
Maya interjected: 'That he takes seriously?' to which Harry's mum said 'yes.'
She added: 'I do not recognise him. He just says what he wants to say and it just seems to roll off his tongue so easily.'
Harry mum the admitted she'd 'disowned him' when asked by Maya if she approves of his villa behavior.
'On more than one occasion I've completely disowned him. Harry who? How can you forget the cameras are on you?'
She also admitted to never having watched the show before, saying she didn't even know who Maya Jama was.
Harry was getting to know Helena, but Helena was fuming to learn what had happened during a recent challenge, and wasted no time calling it quits with the footballer.
Fans of the show reckon that Harry didn't lock lips with Yasmin because he wants to be with the brunette bombshell, but more because he wanted Helena to end their coupling as he has his sights set on Shakira.
Speaking on reddit, one show devotee wrote: "Let's be honest, Harry never got over what he thought about Helena's lifestyle. Instead of ending it directly he wanted her to do it because he wanted to save face when he realised she heard what he said.
Love Island's Harry breaks down in tears over Helena as he sobs 'she can't even be around me'
They continued: "Let me be frank, When a boy thinks that about any girl they are never going to take them seriously. That is why he started messing around with Yasmin while still coupled up with Helena."
And the theorist added that they believe he is playing the game to eventually work his way back to Shakira.
They said: "Now that Shakira's in the picture, he's made it obvious that she's his priority but she was in the situation with Ben. Yasmin's basically been sidelined, and it's clear she was just a backup plan to keep him in the villa.
"If Helena's lifestyle was an issue for him, Yasmin's boldness probably is too, he just hasn't vocalised it. He's playing the long game and was using people to buy time to get onto Shakira or the next bombshell."
There certainly appeared to be something in this fan's intuition after Harry's behaviour in last night's episode.
After his kisses with Yasmin were exposed, Helena ended things and he wasn't seen talking to Yasmin again.
He did, however, make a beeline for Shakira, who has now called time on her time with Ben.
"I wanted to see how you were feeling because I think initially you were number one for me and I kind of f***ed it," he said.
"It's not even like the pickle I have got in with Helena. I just don't think I would do the things I do if it was you because I know you wouldn't stand for it,
Shakira then replied: "It was you and it still is you but it's your behaviour for me that I can't tolerate.
"Obviously it's not with me, which is fair, but if you ever did treat me like that, it would just be a f****** waste of time because I would never stand for it, ever."
Harry went on to say: "It would be different if we were coupled up and I was getting to know people, I wouldnt have done it.
"I have got away with so much with Helena already, I can just keep getting away with it, kind of thing."
In the same reddit post, other fans agreed he likes Shakira but warned he will have eyes for lots of the Casa Amor beauties.

Rider initially kept quiet about his replacement, until in 2015 when Lineker took a swipe at the R&A in St Andrews. The former England captain was upset with the R&A's decision to flog rights to the Open, previously held by the Beeb, to Sky Sports. Rider has now claimed that Lineker "blundered" into politics during an interview with the Telegraph. Reflecting on the presenter's controversial BBC exit, Rider added: "To put forward his opinions so energetically, you need to step outside the framework of the BBC. Our UK seaside village is inundated with tourists after TV show made us globally famous – it's forcing us out our home

Tens of thousands of fans flock to the peaceful fishing town each year SEA TO BELIEVE Our UK seaside village is inundated with tourists after TV show made us globally famous – it's forcing us out our home Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A POPULAR TV show is forcing residents to leave their picturesque coastal village - because it has become a mecca for tourists. Residents in the Cornish village of Port Isaac have fumed that droves of Doc Martin fans arriving each year have made their town unlivable. During the summer months, the town's narrow winding lanes are so crowded that locals steer clear of the historic harbour. Fans from the UK, USA, Australia and mainland Europe has turned the once quiet village into an international tourism hub. To some in Port Isaac, this has brought new opportunities including walking tours, cafes and merchandise shops. Rubber-necking tourists reportedly flock to view iconic landmarks such as the home of Martin Clunes' character Dr Martin Ellingham, and Aunty Ruth's cottage above Squeezy Belly Alley. But locals have suggested that their home has become a "victim of its popularity". Over the past two decades, house prices in the area - renamed Port Wenn on the show - have quadrupled. Mum-of-two Anne Wilce, 44, a lifelong Port Isaac resident, told how it had become "unrecognisable". She fumed: 'It is horrific, there is no affordable housing available for anybody now. 'My sons are 19 and 22 and they won't ever be able to afford to buy a house at this rate. 'Without more affordable housing in the village the younger generation will move away because there is nothing here for them. 'My house is 30 years old and it's part of the last affordable housing that has been built here. Martin Clunes announces sad death of Doc Martin co-star live on air - two years after hit ITV show ended 'I don't go down to the village centre, I have no reason to because it's all second homes. "Even when something does come up for sale it's ridiculously priced - nobody around here can afford it. 'Doc Martin brought a whole load of money into the village which has created jobs for people and helped this community. "But it is also a victim of its popularity and it doesn't feel like our village any more.' Tourism has long since overtaken fishing as Port Isaac's main industry. Local businesses have thrived as a result of the town's worldwide fame. 9 Local resident Anne Wilce worries about her children finding homes in the area Credit: Neil Hope 9 Locals have suggested that their home has become a 'victim of its popularity' Credit: Neil Hope 9 To some in Port Isaac, Doc Martin has brought new business opportunities including walking tours, cafes and merchandise shops John Cleave, who was brought up in the village and runs the Boathouse fashion and gift shop, agrees that the show has changed village life. "The locals talk about BDM – that's Before Doc Martin. "It was always favoured by comparatively few people who simply saw it as a beautiful, typical Cornish fishing village. "As a business you could close your doors from October to Easter and it wouldn't make a lot of difference. "Thanks to Doc Martin we now have all-year-round trade." The British comedy-drama first aired in 2004. On the outer edge of the village - next to Port Isaac's real GP surgery - sits a small housing estate containing some of the village's only affordable homes. They were constructed around 30 years ago and according to residents they were the last affordable homes built in the village. There are now just two active fishing boats remaining in the village - compared with 174 holiday lets on Airbnb alone. In the past year, semi-detached properties in Port Isaac sold for an average of £810,000, with terraced properties fetching £616,250, according to Rightmove. Shop worker Elisha Scott, 19, and her family have lived in the area for 10 years. She said: 'Nobody my age can afford to rent let alone buy a house here, all my friends still live with their parents. 'I'm not really thinking about house prices though because I don't think I'll stay here for a long time, there just aren't the job opportunities. 'Doc Martin definitely made a difference to Port Isaac, there are always fans of the show looking around the village. "What has come with that is a lot of people buying second homes here which has made it too expensive for locals.' Earlier this month a new plan was unveiled to build more affordable homes for local people. Tre Haven Community Land Trust (CLT) has started negotiations with Cornwall Council to purchase land for 25 affordable housing developments. The proposal has support from the area's Lib Dem MP Ben Maguire and local celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw. But critics point out the site sits on a main road several miles from the village - with almost no public transport links to shops or schools. Unemployed Ciaran Patching, 20, said: 'It took me two years of searching and I feel incredibly lucky to be here, before that I was living with my mum in the town. 'I would love to be able to buy my own house here but it doesn't feel like that will ever be an option at the moment. 'Port Isaac is definitely very popular in summer but in winter it can be dead. "The popularity of Doc Martin has helped a lot of businesses around here but it has made it hard for year round residents.' 9 Resident Ciaran Patching lives in affordable housing in the area Credit: Neil Hope 9 John Cleave hailed the show's positive impact on local businesses Credit: Neil Hope

Film crew spotted in Benidorm and it leaves sitcom fans with same theory

When one man saw film crews working their magic in Benidorm, he and other desperate fans all jumped to the same sitcom-related conclusion - but some disputed it Rumours are circulating in Benidorm that something exciting is happening – and it's all about the TV show of the same name. The last series of Benidorm aired in the UK in 2018. For those not in the know, Benidorm is a sitcom that focuses on the adventures of a group of British holidaymakers staying at the Solana holiday resort in Spain. Back in April, fans started speculating that the show would be making a comeback, despite the fact that the creator, Derren Litten, confirmed in 2019 that the tenth series would be the last. But when a TikToker spotted a film crew in Benidorm, he jumped to the conclusion that they must be filming the elusive 11th series. ‌ Harry, a Brit in Benidorm who posts on TikTok as @harrytokky, wrote over the top of a video of a film crew on the strip: "Breaking news. Film crews are filming right now in Benidorm outside the Red Lion". ‌ At the bottom of the video, he penned: "Wait... are they filming Benidorm series 11 right now?! What do you think?" He showed the camera crew filming, as he gushed: "Holy moly, this is unbelievable". In the short clip, someone in the background could be heard saying they thought it was Benidorm series 11. However, in the comments, people were sceptical, and one woman even put the rumour to bed with the information she'd managed to get from film crews. "I doubt they'd film in peak season," a sceptic wrote, but someone shared: "Another 4 weeks until peak season. They film in the 'Solana' with people on holiday there. They just close off one end of the pool". "They use the tourists as extras in Benidorm, it's well known," another man alleged. ‌ Others shared that it couldn't be Benidorm, because none of the beloved actors could be seen in the video. One fumed: "Not hard to tell if it's Benidorm or not." And another penned: "Not to be a Debbie Downer, but Benidorm hasn't officially been commissioned, so unless this is for an announcement ad (which I highly doubt), it's not Benidorm unfortunately". But someone argued, saying: "Makes sense it would be Benidorm though, cause Darren and all the main cast have been cryptic as f*** lately online trying to hint to the fans about a season 11 coming, wouldn't talk about it if there was no chance and now this. I'd say it's likely I can't lie". However, others said they'd seen the crew themselves and stopped to ask more questions. One tourist claimed: "We were walking down before and my dad asked the light crew. They said they can't say what it is but it's a Spanish program!!!!!" Meanwhile, someone else alleged: "They're making a film, not Benidorm. I asked them last night."
