Bad news for Iran as Israel develops new defence system that is capable of 'shoot-look-shoot' technology, can detect and stop very fast..., name is...
Israel has made its air defense system even stronger with the development of the new Arrow-4 missile defense system. Boaz Levy, the head of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), confirmed that this advanced system will soon become a key part of the country's national defense. Arrow-4 is an upgraded version of the earlier Arrow-3 system and it is designed to accurately shoot down enemy ballistic missiles, especially those launched from short distances.
One of the most important features of Arrow-4 is its 'shoot-look-shoot' technology which means that if the missile is not able to destroy the target on the first attempt, the system quickly checks and makes another precise strike.
This new defense system uses advanced warhead technology and a highly sensitive seeker system. Because of this, it can detect and stop very fast, modern ballistic missiles, including those that travel at hypersonic speeds.
Recently, when Iran fired advanced ballistic missiles at Israel, the country managed to stop about 85 per cent of them in the air. However, around 50 missiles still hit Israeli land, causing major damage. The goal of launching the Arrow-4 is to fix this gap in defense, so that in the future, not even a single enemy missile is able to reach the ground. Israel speeds up work on Arrow-4, plans for even more powerful Arrow-5
According to Israel Aerospace Industries, it may take up to two years for the new Arrow-4 missile defense system to be fully added into Israel's defense system. However, the Israeli government has already ordered that the process be fast-tracked.
At the same time, work is already underway on an even more advanced system called Arrow-5. This future system is expected to replace Arrow-3 in the coming years and make Israel's defense capabilities even more powerful and unbeatable.
The Arrow defense series is already known around the world as the first fully working anti-ballistic missile system. It includes Arrow-2 and Arrow-3, which are designed to destroy incoming missiles traveling at speeds of up to 3 kilometers per second, right in mid-air.
The Arrow-4 project officially began in 2021 when the United States and Israel announced a joint effort to build the system. For Israel, Arrow-4 is more than just a missile interceptor, it will act as a powerful shield, especially at a time when tensions are high across the Middle East.

Rajasthan govt. announces ₹10 lakh each to kin of children killed in Jhalawar school building collapse

Amid demands for the resignation of State Education Minister Madan Dilawar, the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Rajasthan on Saturday announced an ex-gratia assistance of ₹10 lakh each to the next of kin of seven children killed in the school building collapse in Jhalawar district. One member of each family will also get a contractual job with the State government. The bodies of six children were cremated together in Piplodi village, where a portion of the government school in which they were studying collapsed on Friday morning, amid the cries of grieving families. The seventh child was cremated in Chandpura Bheelan village, situated nearby. The police stopped Congress MLA from Khanpur, Suresh Gurjar, and student leader from Jaipur, Nirmal Choudhary, on the Kota-Jhalawar road when they were going to meet the injured students admitted to the hospital. Another political leader, Naresh Meena, was detained when he staged a dharna outside the District Hospital in Jhalawar. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced the formation of a permanent committee to review the safety of government schools, colleges, hostels and Anganwadi centres and undertake the repairing of dilapidated buildings. He also announced an increase from 15% to 20% in the permissible allocation for these buildings in the Dang, Magra and Mewat regions. Mr. Sharma said at a high-level meeting here that a provision of Rs.375 crore was made in this year's budget for repairing of schools and construction of new school buildings, besides the release of Rs.3 crore to each Assembly constituency for the purpose. 'The MLAs will also be entitled to recommend an expenditure of 20% of their annual allocation under the local area development fund in schools,' Mr. Sharma said. Civil rights groups in the State have termed Friday's mishap in Piplodi village an instance of 'gross administrative negligence' and demanded an immediate resignation of Education Minister Mr. Dilawar, holding him responsible for the deaths. The death of seven children and serious injuries to several others reflected the State government's utter failure, said the activists. People's Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL)-Rajasthan president Bhanwar Meghwanshi said there was a widespread danger to children studying in the dilapidated buildings amid the deterioration of school infrastructure. 'On the other hand, Mr. Dialwar's sole focus has been on communalising educational institutions,' Mr. Meghwanshi said. According to the Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE) 2023–24 data, 78 out of 94 students in the Government Upper Primary School in Piplodi belonged to tribal communities, as it is situated in the predominantly tribal area. 'This makes it clear that the government is not serious about the safety and education of children from tribal and backward regions,' Mr. Meghwanshi said. The PUCL urged the State government to learn from the Piplodi accident and immediately conduct a comprehensive safety audit of all school buildings. Mr. Meghwanshi said the dilapidated schools must be vacated, and children shifted to safe and secure learning environments without delay. The Opposition Congress also criticised the BJP government over the children's death, with Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi demanding a probe and strict punishment for the culprits. While pointing out that most of the victims were from the Bahujan community, Mr. Gandhi asked if their lives held no value for the BJP. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said in a post on X: 'A government that cannot even repair the roofs of schools for children, who are our country's future, despite complaints, shows big dreams of 'Viksit Bharat'.' The BJP, which boasts a lot about development, had ruined the country, Mr. Kharge said. (EOM)

The Air Force said that among the targets attacked in the strikes, terrorist squads, combat tunnels, military buildings, anti-tank firing positions, and weapons storage facilities were struck. Meanwhile, a day after withdrawing their delegations from talks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump appeared on Friday to abandon Gaza ceasefire negotiations with the Palestinian militant group Hamas. Netanyahu said Israel was now considering 'alternative" options to achieve its goals of bringing its hostages home from Gaza and ending the rule of Hamas in the territory. Trump said Hamas did not want to make a deal, and he believed the group's leaders would now be 'hunted down". Bombay HC's Observations Smack of Political Bias in Line With Centre: CPI(M) on Gaza Protest Order

New Delhi: The politbureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has condemned strongly the Bombay high court's July 25 order on the party's petition challenging the Mumbai Police's refusal to grant permission for a protest in solidarity with Palestinians, In a controversial order, the bench of Justices Ravindra Ghuge and Gautam Ankhad said, "You are looking at issues in Gaza and Palestine. Look at your own country. Be patriots. This is not patriotism." "Ironically, the bench appears to be unaware of either the provisions of the Constitution which enshrines the rights of a political party, or the history of our country and our people's solidarity with the Palestinians and their legitimate right to homeland. The observations smack of distinct political bias in line with the central government," the CPI(M) noted. The party's statement highlighted two observations by the court: 'You don't know the dust it could kick up. Getting on to the Palestine side or the Israel side. Why do you want to do this? It's obvious, going by the party you represent that you don't understand what this could do to the foreign affairs of the country.' and 'You are an organisation registered in India. If you could take up issues like garbage dumping, pollution, sewerage, flooding. We are just giving examples. You are not protesting on those but on something happening thousands of miles outside the country.' The party said that these observations overlook the fact that Mahatma Gandhi in the 40s of the last century, the national movement and subsequent foreign policy of independent India "had not flinched from supporting the cause of Palestinian people's right to freedom and homeland." "It also lays bare the fact that the bench does not realise the unequivocal condemnation globally against Israeli action and the stated positions of the UN bodies and the International Court of Justice," the party said. "We appeal to the freedom and democracy loving people of the country to join us in unambiguously rejecting such a reprehensible attitude," it finally said.
