In light of the tragic events, Bollywood singer Arijit Singh has decided to cancel his upcoming concert in Chennai, scheduled for April 27, 2025. This decision came after much consideration and in agreement with the event organizers, who felt it was important to respect the victims of the attack and allow the nation to mourn.
A statement from the organizers on social media explained, "IMPORTANT UPDATE. In light of the recent and tragic events, the organizers, along with the artist, have collectively decided to cancel the upcoming show scheduled to happen in Chennai this Sunday, April 27th. All ticket holders will receive full refunds, and the amount will be automatically refunded back to your original mode of payment. For any queries, write to events@district.in. Pauses Bengaluru Concert Ticket Sales
On the other hand, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, known for his hits in films like 'Jailer,' has paused his Hukum World Tour. His concert in Bengaluru, scheduled for June 1, 2025, was set to begin ticket sales on April 24, but the organizers decided to halt the sale due to the national grief following the Pahalgam attack.
In a heartfelt statement, Anirudh shared, "The tragic events in Pahalgam have deeply shaken us all. Our heartfelt prayers and deepest condolences go out to the victims and their families."
He continued, "Considering the current national situation, we are postponing the ticket sales for Second Show - HUKUM World Tour, Bengaluru, which was originally scheduled to go live today (24th April) at 2 PM. The new ticket sale date for the second show (June 1st) of the Hukum World Tour, Bengaluru, will be announced soon."

Sunil on board Vijay Milton's Tamil-Telugu bilingual film starring Bharath and Aari Arujunan
Telugu actor Sunil has been making waves in Tamil cinema of late, with memorable performances in films such as Maaveeran, Jailer, Mark Antony, and Good Bad Ugly. Now, the actor has joined the cast of filmmaker Vijay Milton's upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. Starring Bharath, Aari Arujunan, Raj Tharun and Paal Dabba in the lead, the upcoming film will feature Sunil as Poongavanam, an 'intense, layered character with emotional depth,' said the makers. Speaking about Sunil's casting, director Vijay said in a statement, 'Sunil is not just a crowd favourite — he's an actor of great depth and instinct. This character is unlike anything he's played before. It's raw, vulnerable, and powerfully human. I believe audiences will rediscover him in this film.' While plot details remain unknown, the upcoming film is said to be a 'grounded, socially relevant and emotionally driven' film. The title of the film, produced by Rough Note Production, is set to be announced on June 15. Meanwhile, this comes just a day after it was announced that Sunil has joined the cast of Malayalam actor Antony Varghese's upcoming film Kattalan, directed by Paul George.
