Societe Generale plans to introduce a publicly tradable, dollar-backed stablecoin called 'USD CoinVertible', marking its entry into the dollar-pegged cryptocurrency market. In a significant move, Societe Generale has announced the launch of 'USD CoinVertible', a dollar-pegged stablecoin, making it the first major bank to venture into this growing sector. The stablecoin will be tradable on Ethereum and Solana, with trading expected to commence in July. This development comes amidst a backdrop of increasing demand for regulated stablecoins, as highlighted by CEO Jean-Marc Stenger. Meanwhile, Ripple and the SEC have reached an agreement to release $125 million held in escrow, marking a pivotal moment in U.S. cryptocurrency regulation. The resolution of Ripple's long-standing litigation with the SEC could set a precedent for future regulatory frameworks. In the broader market, geopolitical tensions have impacted cryptocurrencies, with AVAX experiencing a notable decline of 9.75% due to fears stemming from the Israel-Iran conflict. As investors react to rising oil prices and inflation concerns, the market is seeing a shift towards safer assets. Additionally, Bow Miner is attracting attention with its cloud mining platform, offering substantial passive income opportunities for investors, further diversifying the cryptocurrency landscape. Gold crosses ₹1L/10 gm amid growing tensions

The Israel and Iran tensions have pushed up gold prices to Rs 99,170 per 10 gm on Friday at the retail level, up by Rs 2,200 per 10 gm from Thursday. If a consumer buys gold now, he will have to shell out Rs 1,02,145 per 10 gm, which includes a 3% GST . The Israel-Iran conflict has inflated the safe haven demand for the yellow metal. Besides, the fear of global recession and the US-China tariff situation have been slowly fuelling the rally in gold prices in recent months. Israel launched a wide-ranging attack on Iran's nuclear sites and military leadership overnight, forcing Iran to retaliate on Friday. "Renewed tensions in the Middle East, particularly with Israel reportedly attacking nuclear sites in Iran, have triggered a sharp rally in gold prices. This geopolitical escalation has driven domestic gold prices above Rs 1,00,000 per 10 gm and pushed Comex gold towards $3425 per troy ounce," said Jateen Trivedi, VP Research Analyst - Commodity and Currency at LKP Securities. "Any retaliatory action could heighten the risk sentiment further, keeping prices elevated. However, if diplomatic efforts or international intervention led to de-escalation, gold could quickly retreat to the Rs 98,000-Rs 97,000 range," Trivedi said.

Iran-Israel war: India may have to pay for escalation in tensions between Iran and Israel petrol price to reach.... As Israel conducted strikes at Iran's nuclear, missile and military complex, mounting tension in West Asia, India said it is 'deeply concerned' over the recent developments between the countries and is 'closely monitoring' the evolving situation, even as New Delhi urged both nations to avoid any escalatory steps. If a war breaks out between Israel and Iran and other countries of the Middle East also get involved in it, then it can have a big impact on the prices of diesel, petrol and LPG gas. The attacks are happening in Tehran, which is about 2500 kilometers away from Delhi. But it is certain that it will have an impact on India as well. If a war breaks out between Israel and Iran and other countries of the Middle East also get involved in it, then the prices of diesel, petrol and LPG gas can be greatly affected. India imports 85 percent of its oil requirement from other countries of the world. And one third of it comes from the Middle East countries. That means if there is a problem with the oil coming from there due to war, then the prices may increase. Increased crude oil prices As soon as Iran-Israel tension started, crude oil has crossed the level of $92 per barrel. US' famous financial institution JP Morgan claims that these prices can increase by 31 percent to $120 per barrel. If petrol prices also increase by this much, then the petrol you buy in Delhi at the rate of Rs 94 per liter can increase to Rs 123 per liter. Decline in the stock market This means that the most dangerous effect of the oil war is likely to be seen on your pocket. However, the problem is not just the oil prices. Its effect will be seen everywhere.
