1 / 12
It's not every day that an old manga book causes ripples in the travel industry. But July 2025 is shaping up to be a month of fear. The reason? A spine-chilling prophecy by Ryo Tatsuki, now dubbed the 'New Baba Vanga,' predicting an apocalyptic disaster that could devastate parts of Japan and nearby nations. What was once just another page in a little-known manga book is now sending shockwaves around the globe. Who is Ryo Tatsuki, The Modern-Day Prophet?
2 / 12
Ryo Tatsuki isn't your typical soothsayer. She's a manga artist, but not just any. Her eerie, detailed forecasts in her 1999 book The Future I Saw have earned her an uncanny reputation. From predicting the death of Freddie Mercury to the 2011 Tohoku tsunami and even the 1995 Kobe earthquake, Tatsuki's work isn't easy to dismiss. Her predictions are drawn from intense, vivid dreams and visions, noted in a matter-of-fact style that somehow makes them all the more believable. July 2025: A Date That's Now Making Tourists Think Twice
3 / 12
One prediction in her book stands out ominously: a major disaster hitting Japan in July 2025. According to her vision, an underwater rift between Japan and the Philippines will trigger a tsunami three times more powerful than the one in 2011. She even described the ocean as 'boiling' and 'giant bubbles' emerging from the sea. Terrifying? Yes. Enough to cause global panic? It already has. Japan's Travel Industry Is Taking a Hit
4 / 12
With July just around the corner, tourism in Japan has taken a serious blow. Travel agencies are reporting mass cancellations. Hotels, airlines, and tour companies are bracing for losses. And in a country still recovering from tourism slowdowns due to the pandemic, this couldn't have come at a worse time. While no official warning has been issued, the power of collective fear is enough to crash even the best-laid travel plans. The Pacific Ring of Fire – Fueling the Panic
5 / 12
What's adding fuel to this fire is geography. The area mentioned in Tatsuki's vision — stretching between Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, and the Northern Mariana Islands — lies on the Pacific Ring of Fire. It's one of the most seismically active zones on the planet. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis are not rare here. That geographical truth makes her prophecy more unnerving. Her Track Record Makes This Hard to Ignore
6 / 12
In March 2011, Tatsuki predicted the exact month of Japan's most destructive modern-day disaster — the tsunami that left over 18,000 people dead. That eerie accuracy has turned her work into a subject of both fascination and dread. While she never claimed to be a prophet, her visions are now being scrutinised like sacred texts. Mixed Reactions: Believers vs. Skeptics
7 / 12
As with any prophecy, there are skeptics. Scientists and seismologists are urging people not to panic. Dr Sekiya Naoya of the University of Tokyo emphasised that no current science can pinpoint exact times or locations for earthquakes. 'Any shaking during the forecasted time would be purely coincidental,' he said. But believers argue that past accuracy can't be brushed off so easily. Authorities Fight the 'Doomsday Rumor'
8 / 12
Officials are also trying to control the narrative. Miyagi Governor Yoshihiro Murai publicly appealed to the public to ignore what he called 'groundless and destructive rumors.' He warned that such fears are damaging local economies and hurting Japan's global image. But social media continues to amplify the warnings, and the fear remains real. Is This Just the Power of Suggestion?
9 / 12
What's clear is that this prophecy has tapped into a deeper psychological phenomenon — our collective fear of the unknown. While scientists may be unconvinced, the fact that people are cancelling trips, avoiding beaches, and watching the sky closely shows just how powerful belief can be. What Can We Do? Prepare, Not Panic
10 / 12
Whether or not the prophecy comes true, experts advise using this as a wake-up call. Earthquake preparedness, tsunami drills, and awareness campaigns can go a long way. Ignoring all prophecies is unwise, but being consumed by them is dangerous. The key is to stay informed, cautious, and ready. Fear May Pass, but Precaution Stays
11 / 12
Maybe July 2025 will pass like any other month. Or maybe, something will happen that forever etches it into history. Either way, Ryo Tatsuki's words have already left a mark — on tourism, on belief systems, and on our collective nerves. Whether prophet or coincidence, the tale of the 'New Baba Vanga' has reminded the world just how fragile our sense of safety can be. Ryo Tatsuki Dream Diary

Asha Bhosle makes SHOCKING revelations about her husband, calls him sadist, says, 'I was four months pregnant, swallowed a bottle of...'

On May 25, the biography of veteran singer Asha Bhosle, titled 'Asha Bhosle: A Life In Music', was released by Amaryllis, authored by Ramya Sarma. The book explores lesser-known chapters of Asha's personal life, some of which are quite unsettling. One particularly shocking story from her life was shared in media reports that left many people in disbelief. Asha Bhosle's Astonishing Confessions According to Mid-Day, the book discloses that in 1949, when Asha Bhosle was merely 16, she eloped with Ganpatrao Bhosle. Her older sister, the celebrated singer Lata Mangeshkar, was displeased with the marriage and refrained from speaking to Asha for quite some time. Ganpatrao Bhosle was 20 years her senior, and not long after, the romantic union took a turn for the worse. The book mentions, 'There are rumors suggesting that Ganpatrao was an alcoholic who frequently assaulted his wife, even during her pregnancy, often requiring her to be hospitalized.' It also included a quote from Asha: 'Our family was very traditional, and they could not accept a singing star as a daughter-in-law. My husband had a short temper. Perhaps he derived pleasure from causing pain, maybe he was a sadist. But no one outside our home would learn of it. I respected him, never questioning his actions. I simply fulfilled my duties according to Hindu dharma.' When Asha Bhosle Took Sleeping Pills During her pregnancy with her third child, Anand, Asha Bhosle was asked by her in-laws to leave the house. While hospitalized, she contemplated suicide. Asha Bhosle recounted, 'At one point, I thought I should end my life. I was unwell, four months pregnant, and found myself in a hospital with conditions so dire that I believed I had entered hell. I was suffering mentally. So, I swallowed a whole bottle of sleeping tablets. However, the love I had for my unborn child was so profound that I survived. I was pulled back to life, back to living.' The author noted that distressing marriage 'would understandably add emotional depth to her voice, infusing her music with pathos, sorrow, and empathy.' Tragically, years later, Asha Bhosle's daughter Varsha also attempted to take her own life in a similar manner. Reports indicate that in 2008, she allegedly tried to end her life by ingesting sleeping pills while receiving treatment at Mumbai's Jaslok Hospital. In October 2012, she took her life by using a firearm.

Ram Kapoor Removed From Mistry Promotions For Allegedly Passing Sexually Inappropriate Remarks

Ram Kapoor allegedly made sexually inappropriate remarks during a media interaction. Interviews for the show Mistry are now being conducted solely with Mona Singh. Just days ahead of the release of the mystery drama detective series 'Mistry', actor Ram Kapoor has been dropped from all promotional activities related to the show. Mid-Day reports that the decision was made by senior leadership at JioHotstar after Ram Kapoor allegedly made sexually inappropriate and offensive remarks during a media event held at JW Marriott, Juhu on June 19. According to Mid-Day, several eyewitnesses revealed that Ram Kapoor, who was seated alongside his co-star Mona Singh, and JioHotstar executives, made comments loaded with sexual innuendo, leaving team members uncomfortable. A JioHotstar insider told Mid-Day, 'The tone and content of his 'jokes' were unprofessional. He had back-to-back interviews that day. Referring to the work pressure at one point, he said he feels 'gang-raped'. This remark was made while one journalist was setting up her mic." Further allegations include Kapoor allegedly made inappropriate comments about the outfits of members of the JioHotstar and public relations teams while interacting with them. One executive told Mid-Day, 'He looked at my colleague's dress and referring to its length, said, 'The clothes are distracting.'" 'It didn't hit immediately, but when it did later that evening, we started recounting the number of offensive things he said. He told one of our male colleagues that his mother should have faked a headache and he shouldn't have been born. He made references to sex positions," another staffer told Mid Day. The next morning, on June 20, the matter was escalated to JioHotstar's senior leadership, and internal discussions were held with the HR team. After verifying the claims with eyewitnesses, the platform swiftly decided to cancel Ram Kapoor's remaining promotional appearances for Mistry. Ram Kapoor has not yet responded to the allegations. As per the report, interviews and promotional activities are now being conducted solely with Mona Singh. About Mistry Directed by Risab Seth, Mistry is the Hindi adaptation of Monk. It stars Ram Kapoor, Mona Singh, Shikha Talsania, Kshitish Date, and Dipak Dhar. Ram Kapoor plays Armaan Mistry, a germophobic former detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder, while Mona Singh is seen playing a pivotal role as Senior Police Officer Sehmat Siddiqui, whose choices will be the driving force in Mistry's future. The series will be available on JioHotstar from June 27.
