A little further and guests will reach a bustling harbour full of extravagant boats and the town centre too.
Named the best bed and breakfast of the year, the AA said: "After nearly a decade, The 25 Boutique B&B is still very much on top of its game, an engaging fusion of comfort, quality and hospitality, all of which combine to ensure a rewarding and fulfilling guest experience.
They added: "Breakfast remains a tour de force."
Inside the B&B, guests will find a number of differently designed bedrooms and suites - all named after local beaches.
In the Torre Suite (named after Torre Abbey Sands), a faux zebra named Frank hangs over the orange bed.
In the Shoalstone Suite (named after Shoalstone Beach), there is a king-size bed and a glittery wall.
This room was even stayed in by Joanna Lumley as well.
There is then also the Broadsands Room, Oddicombe Room , Goodrington Room and Watcombe Suite.
The rooms all have ensuites, free WiFi and fridges with fresh milk and bottled water, Netflix and air conditioning - for when it is especially warm.
The B&B also features an outdoor terrace, where guests can relax on sofas with a drink from the 'honesty bar'.

One recent guest said: "The most amazingly elegant B&B I've ever stayed in. It was faultless from start to finish."
Another said: "The decor was impeccable, delivered with imagination and a quirky flair that sets the accommodation apart.
"Everything is five star - exceptionally comfortable bed, amazing lighting, a separate lounge, separate TV's, separate Alexas and an en-suite that even had a TV in the shower!"
The five-star B&B was opened back in 2015 by Andy and Julian - who previously ran a successful country house hotel in North Wales.
The B&B is adults-only and a room can be found for £287.30 for two adults for two nights (minimum stay).
The B&B makes a great base for exploring south Devon's beaches and Torquay's neighbouring towns - including Paignton, Brixham, Babbacombe and Newton Abbot.

UK's best B&Bs for 2025 named in AA awards
The UK's best B&Bs for 2025 have been revealed with an adults-only Devon establishment bagging the top spot for England. The 29th iteration of the annual ranking by the AA aims to celebrate excellence in British hospitality. Award categories include AA Inn of the Year, AA Restaurant with Rooms of the Year and AA Bed and Breakfast of the Year with winners selected from across England, Scotland and Wales. Located a 10-minute walk from Torre Abbey Sands, boutique property 25 Boutique B&B in Torquay, Devon, won the B&B of the Year for England. Judges described it as being 'top of its game', thanks to 'an engaging fusion of comfort, quality and hospitality, all of which combine to ensure a rewarding and fulfilling guest experience'. The Townhouse, a traditional, Georgian terraced property in the heart of Perth, was Scotland's winner, with several rooms benefiting from 'great views over the picturesque South Inch Park. 'Luxurious beds and antique furniture sit alongside contemporary design,' noted the AA. And multi-award-winning Ramsey House in St Davids, Pembrokeshire, took the top spot for Wales. Elsewhere, The George Inn, a historic 14th-century Grade I-listed Tudor inn located in North St Philip near Bath in Somerset, scooped the prize for AA Inn of the Year. Judges described it as home to 'a wonderfully warm and engaging atmosphere'. In Scotland, The Colintraive Hotel on the Isle of Bute took top spot. As well as securing an AA rosette for the past three years, judges remarked on the 'comfortable well-appointed bedrooms' and 'fantastic food… using the best from both land and sea'. And in Wales, the Grade II-listed Nags Head in Montgomery, Powys, secured the win. England's Restaurant with Rooms of the Year was named as Restaurant Interlude in Lower Beeding in West Sussex, while the Dipping Lugger overlooking Loch Broom in Ullapool scooped the win in Scotland. And in Wales, Plas Dinas Country House, a Grade II-listed building nestled between the Snowdonia mountains and the Irish Sea, won the award. Simon Numphud, managing director at AA Hotel & Hospitality Services, said: 'These awards shine a light on the brilliant people and places that make Britain's B&B scene truly world class. 'Whether it's a warm welcome in Scotland, a design-led retreat in England, or a culinary gem in Wales, this year's winners represent everything that's special about independent UK hospitality.' Your Guardian sport weekend: Tour de France, the Open and Women's Euro 2025
Join us on Saturday morning for all the follow-up from Spain v Switzerland and the buildup to the final quarter-final, between France and Germany in Basel. And of course, the news from the England camp. After their A-B-B-A 2-2 draw with Sweden (Asllani, Blackstenius, Bronze, Agyemang) and penalty shootout, will it be another late finish and a case of Nessun Dorma against Italy in Tuesday's semi-final? Back in England, it's a busy transfer window for the women and the men, and Thomas Frank has his first match in charge of Tottenham, a 3pm friendly at Reading. Send your contributions to After all the talk, the Lions take the field in Australia for a Test after 12 years. Was the run of tour victories that followed the defeat by Argentina in Dublin genuine, or were the opposition too far beneath Test quality? Four years on from the Covid-imposed silence in South Africa, the atmosphere in Brisbane will be electric, and Robert Kitson, Gerard Meagher and Jack Snape will be reporting from Suncorp Stadium, after Lee Calvert guides you through the match with his minute-by-minute report. After losing the T20 series 3-2 – and only scraping home in the dead rubber – England were beaten by four wickets with 10 balls to spare in Thursday's first ODI, with Deepti Sharma guiding India home at the Rose Bowl with an unbeaten 62. However, a failure to review an lbw shout when she had 40 cost the home side dear. On to Lord's, where the new regime of Charlotte Edwards as coach and Nat Sciver-Brunt as captain need a win as they prepare for the autumn's World Cup, against that tournament's hosts. Rob Smyth and Tanya Aldred are on over-by-over duty, while Raf Nicholson will be reporting from St John's Wood. It's Pyrenean purgatory for the peloton, with the Cols de Tourmalet, Aspin and Peyresourde climbs on the menu, making it a big day in the battle to be king of the mountains, as well as the general classification. John Brewin is watching all the wheels turn as it happens, while Jeremy Whittle will be in the ski resort of Luchon-Superbagnère to report on who winds up in yellow and in polka dots with eight stages to go. Moving day on the Causeway Coast, for those who made the cut, though given the forecast it is possible there will be some hangover from the second round. Scott Murray will take you through the action as it happens, while Ewan Murray and Sean Ingle will be reporting from Royal Portrush. If the group stages had gone with the pre-tournament odds, then this game would still have taken place but on Thursday with Germany, third favourites overall, as Group C winners and France, fourth favourites, as Group D runners-up. Instead France caught England very cold and Sweden surprised a sluggish Germany, meaning the victors are facing Spain, the world champions, or Switzerland, the hosts, in the last four. Sarah Rendell will cover the minute-by-minute action, while Tom Garry and Jonathan Liew are at St Jakob-Park. Just under two years ago Oleksandr Usyk recovered from a disputed low blow in Wroclaw to retain his IBF, WBA (Super) and WBO world heavyweight titles by stopping Daniel Dubois in the ninth round. Since then Usyk vacated the IBF title and Dubois picked it up and defended it successfully against his fellow Briton Anthony Joshua. With the fight at Wembley, Dubois will have home advantage this time, though that did Joshua no good when he fought Usyk the first time, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Bryan Armen Graham is covering the action blow by blow, including the undercard, while Donald McRae and Barney Ronay are at Wembley. No one can take it easy on the Tour but the day after the Pyrenees offers a little respite. The peloton will travel west-by-south-west from Muret just outside Toulouse to the mediaeval city of Carcassonne, with its intact fortress walls. The stage's one category-three climb may preclude a sprint finish but, with the final rest day to come on Monday, it can be worth putting in some extra effort. Tom Bassam will be keeping you up to date with the breakaways, while Jeremy Whittle is in the Languedoc. In 2019, it was Shane Lowry who strode on to the 18th green at Royal Portrush as champion-elect, duly picking up the Claret Jug. The pictures of the finish are always memorable, but there is a twist this time: the lack of a clubhouse alongside the 18th has enabled the R&A to approve the use of a Spidercam, to provide panoramic views from overhead as the crowd follow the final pairing on to the green. Scott Murray will be your live guide, while Ewan Murray, Andy Bull and Sean Ingle will be capturing the scene from the course.

The "dreamlike" island guest house that serves the country's best breakfast
The AA named its top B&Bs in the UK, and one in a popular Scottish island took home the 'Best Breakfast' accolade. Roskhill House in the village of Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye, was given the Best Breakfast award, out of a range of B&Bs in the UK, at the event which took place earlier this month. Award categories at the AA Awards included: AA Inn of the Year, AA Restaurant with Rooms of the Year and AA Bed and Breakfast of the Year, with winners selected from each of the three nations. From the wild coasts of the Outer Hebrides to the surrounds of historic Bath, the winning B&Bs highlight the diversity and richness of the UK hospitality scene. Picture: Roskhill House The AA team had this to say about Roskhill House's breakfast: 'Begin your day at Roskhill House with a carefully curated breakfast where quality, freshness, and locally sourced ingredients take centre stage. 'Enjoy a generous selection that includes eggs from their own happy hens, seasonal fruits, yogurt, and Scottish vegetarian cheeses. Savour a variety of baked delights such as oatcakes, fresh breads, homemade cinnamon buns, cakes, seeded banana bread, muffins, and sourdough toast. 'Accompaniments include local honey, their own marmalade, and a range of homemade jams. To complement your breakfast, they serve expertly roasted coffee from Birch in Portree and a thoughtfully chosen selection of teas from Shibui in Edinburgh.' Of the overall awards, Simon Numphud, managing director at AA Hotel & Hospitality Services, said: 'These awards shine a light on the brilliant people and places that make Britain's B&B scene truly world class. 'Whether it's a warm welcome in Scotland, a design-led retreat in England, or a culinary gem in Wales, this year's winners represent everything that's special about independent UK hospitality. 'They go beyond offering a bed for the night - they offer character, comfort and care that stays with you long after check-out.' Roskhill House is a four star, five bedroom guesthouse on the ever-popular Isle of Skye. It's a former croft house that dates back to 1890 and is run by Martin Sutherland and Charles Harper. The house has a range of top reviews online, with one reviewer calling it 'dream-like' and others commenting on the cleanliness, pausing Martin and Charles and complimenting them on the breakfast.
