Menai Bridge road to close for blockage clearance works
The closure is expected to last until August 28.
The council has provided an alternative route for affected traffic.
From the northern end of the closure, drivers are advised to travel in a westerly direction through Penlon Estate to the junction with the B5420, Pentraeth Road, and turn left.
Traffic should then continue in a south-easterly direction along the B5420 to the junction with Hill Street, where another left turn is required.
Drivers should proceed in an easterly direction along Hill Street to the junction with Tyddyn To, and turn left again.
The route then continues in a north-westerly direction along Tyddyn To, passing Ysgol Y Borth and Cil y Graig, to the junction with Penlon Estate and the opposite end of the road closure.
The same diversion applies in reverse for traffic travelling from the opposite direction.
The council has stated that the order will remain in force for up to six weeks to allow for any unforeseen delays, although the works are expected to be completed within the two-day period.

Another alternative is the JBL Live Beam 3, priced at £119.99 on the JBL website, reduced from £179.99. While these alternatives offer solid features, the Beats Fit Pro earbuds has garnered a 4.1 out of 5 stars rating from 8,326 reviews, reflecting strong user satisfaction overall. One user shared, 'I genuinely adore these. As someone who frequently found the AirPods and AirPod Pros would fall out their ear too easily these stay in place perfectly.. "The Bluetooth connectivity was perfect and very easy to use, these have almost all the functionality of an AirPod but with better shape.' Another reviewer reported a common issue, stating, 'It is my second pair and it arrived with the same issue as the first one: only one (left) AirPod works. "Headphones case can recognise and charge both earbuds but neither iPhone (15) nor the Android phone (Samsung S24 Ultra) can make both AirPods play music.' Another positive comment read, 'Absolutely love the Beats Fit Pro! These earbuds have completely transformed my daily listening experience. "The active noise cancelling is fantastic, blocks out background noise so I can fully immerse myself in my music, podcasts, or calls.' Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! On the flip side, some users find the fit problematic during exercise. One said, 'They're not very good for the gym and constantly fall out of my ears. Need to be sweat proof. I often find that I am having to adjust the earphones for them to fit in my ears. Little disappointed and looking for replacement as these are not doing the job.' Another reviewer praised the earbuds' performance and customer service: 'The first pair I received were faulty (left bud wouldn't connect). Amazon got me a replacement within 24 hours, excellent customer service. "New pair are outstanding, great sound and comfortable, easy to use, noise cancelling is great too, plenty of battery life too... highly recommended.' Overall, the Beats Fit Pro earbuds offer a blend of comfort, sound quality, and features suitable for everyday use, though some have experienced fit or connectivity issues.

Heartbreak of Beckham family feud as 'cruel' reason brothers were banned from wedding
David and Victoria Beckham were not invited to their son Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham's vow renewal. In a surprising turn of events, David and Victoria Beckham were reportedly not invited to their son Brooklyn's "second" wedding with Nicola Peltz-Beckham. A close source to the couple stated: "In the current would have had to freeze over before that happened." The rift between the Beckhams and their daughter-in-law Nicola is so deep that they only discovered about the wedding vow renewal online. However, it appears they weren't the only ones allegedly excluded from the extravagant event, which saw up to 200 guests in attendance. Friends of the newlyweds revealed that Brooklyn's brothers, Romeo and Cruz, were also unwelcome at the celebration due to what they believe are a series of online jibes from the pair. " Brooklyn's brothers have been fanning the openly made fun of and trolled Brooklyn in comments on social media," shared a friend. One particular comment under scrutiny was when Cruz responded to a post asking if he was "going to stick with this job or going to become a race car driver next or something?" Cruz, seemingly referring to his brother Brooklyn's varied career choices, retorted: "Wrong brother mate", reports the Mirror. The reason behind Brooklyn's strong reaction to a seemingly harmless comment has left many puzzled. Some speculate that Nicola is seeking "any reason" to distance Brooklyn from his brothers, having previously been accused of "isolating" her husband from both his family and friends. A friend of Peltz responded to queries about the necessity of barring the entire Beckham family from their wedding celebration on 2 August. We reported yesterday on the disappointment felt by many when not only Victoria and David were excluded, but also Brooklyn's siblings Cruz, Harper and Romeo, as well as his grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. An insider shared with me: "Why punish the whole family for what is essentially a fall-out with just the mum and dad." Friends of Nicola and Brooklyn argue that it was difficult to exclude Harper, who is close to Brooklyn, and his grandparents. The friend stated: "They are trying to make the best decisions for them in what are very unfortunate circumstances. Navigating family stuff is hard and it's ugly." Despite the current situation, they still hold out hope for a reconciliation. The friend added: "The door is open. No one wants to see this kind of pain exist. There is always hope. At the end of the day. Blood is thicker than water." Such remarks will undoubtedly infuriate the Beckhams, particularly as they view the situation completely differently. I can disclose that the entire family have been attempting for "many months" to make contact and mend the rift with Brooklyn and his wife, but their efforts have been futile. It's not only David and Victoria who have been reaching out, but also both sets of grandparents and other relatives. During Brooklyn's recent visit to London, he failed to meet any family members, including his grandparents. Meanwhile, the family were "totally poleaxed" by news of the wedding renewal which arrived with "zero warning." They believe there's no justification for failing to inform anyone about it and simply releasing a collection of photographs on social media. Terms such as "cruel and heartless" have been employed. The fact that more images have been published this time around compared to their first wedding in 2022 has certainly worsened the situation. In the photographs, Nicola donned her 70 year old mother's vintage 1985 bridal gown for the ceremony, whilst her father Nelson, 83, was granted the pivotal role of officiating. The selection of images, detractors argue, were "very pointed." Based on the responses across Brooklyn and Nicola's social media accounts, it appears the public are solidly backing the Beckhams. One commented: "Oh lets get married again so my in-laws aren't in the pictures. Unbelievably cruel. Hope you never have a son." However, Peltz's inner circle insist they've committed no wrongdoing. They highlight what they describe as "massive double standards" in how both families are depicted. One insider revealed: "Whenever Nicola and Brooklyn stand up for themselves - or share how in love they are - they are seen as the bad guys. Take a look at Victoria's Instagram all lovey-dovey. When Nicola does this she is accused of being terrible." Regarding allegations that Nicola is isolating Brooklyn, her mates dismiss this entirely. They insisted: "Brooklyn's friends flew in early to spend the week with him, and he had them staying with him in the build up. The pictures reflected what the goal was ....it was all about love. There was no ulterior motive." Looking ahead, the row certainly isn't damaging Nicola's professional opportunities. "Nicola just wrapped a film in North Carolina which she was shooting this summer, and she has other film and TV projects in the works," revealed a mate. Brooklyn is equally occupied promoting his hot sauce and recently secured a partnership with Airbnb. When asked if they'd ever consider a major sit-down interview about the rift, the friend says it's not their approach. "They don't want the are about peace instead," they explained.
