When is the Lorde Melbourne show?
So far, Lorde has confirmed the details for just one Melbourne show – she's set to take over Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, February 21. If other artists of her calibre are anything to go by, we're pretty certain this won't be the only show – we'll keep you posted if and when additional dates are announced (and you can stay in the loop over here).
When do Lorde Melbourne tickets go on sale?
General release tickets go on sale at 2pm local time on Friday, July 18 via the Frontier Touring website.
Is there a Lorde pre-sale for her Melbourne show?
Absolutely. Presale for American Express Card Members goes live at 1pm on Tuesday, July 15, and presale for Frontier Members will go live at 2pm on Thursday, July 17.
How much are Lorde tickets?
Ticket prices haven't been confirmed, but we'd expect them to be priced at around $130 for C Reserve Seating, with VIP packages likely to stretch to upwards of $300. We'll keep you posted when more details are released.

Where is Lorde's Australian and New Zealand tour?
Lorde's Ultrasound World Tour will kick off in her home country of New Zealand at Auckland's Spark Arena on Wednesday, February 11, followed by a show at Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch on Friday, February 13.
The Aussie leg will kick off at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Monday, February 16, and she'll play a Sydney show at Qudos Bank Arena a few days later on Wednesday, February 18. After playing in Melbourne, she'll head to Perth's RAC Arena on Wednesday, February 25. Based on the gaps in that schedule, we've got a feeling more shows will be announced – here's hoping.

Airbnb host rejects duo's booking after learning where in the UK they're from

The duo, journeying from Cwmbran in South Wales, planned to attend a performance by the Aussie music maestro Sonny Fodera at Manchester's Co-op Live Arena. They mentioned in their booking request that they were 'coming from Wales to see the gig', but were flabbergasted to receive an email just over an hour later informing them of the rejection. Upon querying the reason for the cancellation, the host bluntly replied: "Because you're from WALES". It comes as one holidaymaker claims to have found the best Airbnb in England. The astounded friends have since levelled accusations of 'xenophobia and horrendous discrimination' against the property owner. School support officer and mother-of-two Jemma recounted: "We had an email that our booking had been declined and we were getting a refund. We wrote 'Hi, can I ask why it's been declined', with a kiss, very politely. "She wrote 'because you're from Wales', in capital letters. My mouth hit the floor – nothing else other than 'because you're from Wales'. It wasn't about us attending the concert or anything, it was sheer discrimination against our country. "We're amazing people, the Welsh are lush. I've no clue what me and my mate, or all of Wales, have done to be seen as so terrible. It's xenophobia. It's absolutely horrendous. I'm white, so I don't think it's racism, but to a certain degree it's racism to the country, isn't it?. It's definitely discrimination, it's horrendous." Jamie pressed the host for a proper explanation regarding why their reservation had been turned down – arguing that it constituted 'discrimination under the Equality Act 2010'. She revealed her message had been read, yet she received no reply whatsoever. Qualified nurse Jamie, who had tried to secure the booking via her profile, explained: "I just thought, 'oh my gosh, how can you say no just because I'm from Wales?'. It was really blunt, just one line: because you are from, in capitals, Wales. What difference does that make? I was just a bit shocked really that people still say things like that. "If she had said 'I don't want people going to concerts and coming back if they'd had a drink or something, I'd be like yeah, OK, that's fine. That's an explanation. But she gave no explanation apart form 'because you are from Wales'." On Airbnb, the 'superhost' who turned down the booking, is described as a 'friendly and easygoing' foodie. When approached for a statement today (Fri), the host chose not to comment. The en suite double room she offers, which itself has garnered an average 4.97-star rating from 300 reviews, has been temporarily removed from Airbnb's listings. A spokesperson for Airbnb made it clear: "Discrimination, including on the basis of nationality, has no place on Airbnb. As soon as this report was brought to our attention, we reached out to the guest to provide our support and suspended the host while we investigate this matter."

David Argue dead at 65: Australia mourns veteran actor and BMX Bandits star who worked with Nicole Kidman
Legendary actor David Argue, who is best known for his roles in Gallipoli, BMX Bandits and Razorback, has died. He was 65. The Melbourne-born star passed away following a battle with cancer. One of Australia's most recognisable character actors, David played the hapless criminal Whitey in the 1983 film BMX Bandits alongside Nicole Kidman. Along with Moustache and The Boss, Whitey launches a plot to nab $1.5million in a payroll heist, kicking off the action in the Aussie blockbuster. Following his studies at NIDA, Argue made his on-screen debut in 1977 as Sunny Martin in the Australian soap opera, The Restless Years. He also had a career-defining role in the classic Australian WWI film Gallipoli, playing the laconic Snowy alongside stars Mel Gibson and Mark Lee. Following his stint playing Nicole's antagonist, David took on many big screen roles including in 1985's The Coca Cola Kid and the 1993 spoof Hercules Returns. His other acting credits include Cop Shop, The Sullivans, Special Squad, Winners, Cluedo, Stark, Newlyweds, Halfway Across the Galaxy and Turn Left, Correlli, and Water Rats. Last year, Argue announced through a GoFundMe campaign that due to his health issues, including cancer, walking had become increasingly difficult for him. He requested assistance to purchase a mobility scooter, describing himself as an, 'Icon, Legend Enemy to himself and Burden to his friends!' The Victorian Actors Benevolent Trust was among those to pay tribute to Argue. 'David was a remarkably talented and much-loved actor,' their statement read. 'He had the rare gift of making any character he played utterly unique and totally believable. 'In recent years, as David's health declined, the VABT was able to provide much needed assistance and emotional support. 'In return, David had no hesitation in championing our work, most recently with a deeply personal and humorous reflection at our Trivia Fundraiser. 'We have lost a formidable talent and a dear friend. Vale David RIP. Several friends and fans also took to social media to pay tribute and share their fond memories of the star. 'David Argue was without a doubt one of the most unique, engaging, and skilled actors Australia ever produced,' author Max Davine wrote. 'A highlight of my writing career was having him say my words for a pilot we never filmed but rehearsed. Well... Improvise around my words anyway. Most of the time what he said off the cuff was an improvement. It was an honour. Farewell.' 'I am deeply saddened at the passing of my friend David Argue, a brilliant comic and actor and a significant part of the Australian Cinema,' another fan wrote.
