Hyderabad: Five persons, including three siblings, from Hyderabad died while taking a holy dip in the Godavari before visiting the Basara temple on Sunday. None of them knew swimming, police said. The five were part of a group of 18 relatives who had taken a train from Hyderabad on Saturday and arrived in Basara on Sunday morning for a darshan at the temple. The incident happened while others were taking a bath at a different spot nearby, police said. While women were taking a bath on one side, men, including the youngsters, were taking a bath on the other side," Basara SI told TOI.
