Later, little ones can let loose in the splash zone while adults lounge under the shaded cabanas before a quick Polaroid snapshot to capture the joyous family experience.
Lunch follows at La Fontana Brasserie, providing a relaxed indoor setting for all ages. While the adults rebalance with a curated spa session or sound healing, younger guests can take part in pony rides or the unique opportunity to swim with horses. The day concludes with a flavoursome dinner at White Orchid, where parents can savour a well-deserved moment of calm, or settle back in the room with the exclusive after-hours 'Late Snack Munch' menu, featuring chef-prepared comfort food, while little ones get some rest.

Wyndham surpasses 700 hotels in EMEA amid growth

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has marked significant growth in its footprint across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), with more than 720 hotels now operating. In the first half of 2025 alone, the company added over 4,700 rooms through more than 60 new hotel openings, driving year-over-year organic system growth of 5 per cent in EMEA, alongside 27 new deal signings in the region, reinforcing its focus on high-growth markets and expanding access to quality, branded accommodations to travellers across the region. Standout additions include the Dolce by Wyndham Siracusa, Monasteri Golf and Spa in Sicily and the Signature Cave Cappadocia, Trademark Collection by Wyndham in Turkiye; offering distinctive stays in one the region's most captivating destinations. Wyndham also opened new destinations across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, with launches in Georgia, Romania, and Kazakhstan, and accelerated its momentum in Eurasia with 21 new openings in the first half of the year, expanding the regional portfolio to over 90 hotels - primarily located in India, one of the world's most dynamic and fastest-growing hospitality markets. Wyndham's strategic development partnerships also played a key role in driving brand growth, bringing its globally recognised Super 8 by Wyndham brand to two high-demand markets: Saudi Arabia and Iberia. Dimitris Manikis, President EMEA, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts: 'With more than 720 hotels now open across EMEA, we're seeing incredible momentum. Travel is thriving and we're meeting that demand with a growing portfolio that reflects the energy and diversity of this region. From stunning resorts in Sicily to one-of-a-kind cave stays in Cappadocia, we're adding experiences that truly inspire. And with new signings in markets like Iberia and Saudi Arabia, we're not just growing - we're creating new opportunities for our partners and giving travellers even more great places to stay across the region.' This regional growth contributed to 4 per cent year-over-year global organic net room growth and Wyndham's 20th consecutive quarter of sequential developmental pipeline growth, reaching a record 255,000 rooms. Wyndham's EMEA region also delivered robust constant currency RevPAR growth of 7 per cent. Backed by its Owner First approach to franchising, Wyndham's continued expansion highlights the strength of its reputation and its long-term commitment to the success of franchisees and owners. Highlights from H1 2025 include: Continued expansion in Turkiye, where Wyndham is the largest hotel group, is now home to over 125 Wyndham-branded hotels, including landmark additions such as Cappadocia Cave Hotel by Wyndham, Wyndham Tarsus St. Paul and Wyndham Alanya. Robust development in Eurasia with 21 new hotel openings in the first half of the year, including Ramada Encore By Wyndham Lucknow Airport, Ramada by Wyndham Cox's Bazar Kolatoli Beach and Wyndham Garden Jim Corbett Chhoi. Strategic growth across Europe, reinforcing Wyndham's strong and established presence in key markets such as Germany, Greece, Portugal, Italy and Denmark, with further openings expected this year – a clear reflection of Europe's continued popularity with travellers. New destinations in Eastern Europe include the introduction of new brands such as La Quinta By Wyndham Batumi into Georgia and the addition of unique locations such as Tor're Astana, Trademark Collection and Wyndham Residences Aqkol in Kazakhstan. Landmark deals to bring Super 8 by Wyndham brand Saudi Arabia and Iberia, with plans for 100 hotels in the Kingdom and 40 across Spain and Portugal over the next decade - meeting the accelerating demand for trusted, value-driven accommodations in these dynamic markets. UAE hotels offer free waterpark tickets, chance to win all-expense paid trip during summer

Hotels in the UAE have ramped up offerings, services and experiences to boost occupancy levels during the ongoing summer holidays for individuals and families, offering free tickets to water parks, aqua aerobics and yoga sessions among others. As tourist inflow slows down during the summer, hotels in the country increasingly target residents for staycations to boost occupancy levels. A Sharjah hotel has adjusted its beach opening hours in the morning to allow early risers to experience the serenity of sunrise by the sea. 'We also host daily aqua aerobics and periodic yoga sessions to promote fitness and mindfulness as part of every guest's stay,' Iftikhar Hamdani, area general manager for Northern Emirates at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel and Coral Beach Resort, Sharjah, said. He added that to improve the experiences of family guests, the hotel has introduced live cooking stations, along with peacocks and rabbits in the gardens. Without sharing figures, Hamdani confirmed that these initiatives have helped increase occupancy rates at the hotels this year as compared to last year. 'Our aggressive social media campaign has significantly boosted direct bookings this year, breaking records in both telephonic and online reservations through our website. Additionally, our all-inclusive package has positively impacted occupancy rates from the local market compared to last year, and our enhanced food quality and live cooking stations have greatly impressed our staycation guests,' he added. Meanwhile, Central Hotels and Resorts added new dining venues, upgraded all rooms, included a fully automated in-room guest experience system, and a dynamic pricing strategy, according to Abdulla Ahmad Ali Al Abdulla Al Ansari, chief operating officer and group general manager. "All restaurant menus and payment systems will move to QR code access in the coming months. To prepare for the busy season, a lively entertainment programme will launch across all hotels, featuring live DJs,' he added. Al Ansari is optimistic that the planned initiatives and improvements will help drive stronger business performance in the coming months. Kempinski Hotels announced a new Double Discovery Dollar Promotion for members, allowing guests to earn twice the Discovery Dollars (D$) on all eligible direct bookings from August 1 to September 30, 2025. The limited-time promotion is available across the entire Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) Discovery portfolio, which includes more than 850 hotels across 45 brands worldwide, doubling the earning potential for travellers seeking indulgent dining, spa treatments, and other experiences. 'Meaningful hospitality begins with understanding what makes each guest unique. Our loyalty philosophy is simple — recognise individuality, reward curiosity and inspire new journeys,' said Yannick Brandner, director of corporate loyalty, Kempinski Hotels. Rixos Premium Dubai is offering guests who stay three nights or longer tickets to the world's largest waterpark in Atlantis to enjoy a day full of thrills. JA Resorts & Hotels has introduced bespoke staycation itineraries with tailored activities and amenities. All guests will receive a personalised boarding pass welcome card at check-in, complete with custom itinerary and any special celebrations, as well as the JA Passport, a fun resort activity map and stamp-collection card. Visitors can collect a stamp each time they conquer a new activity to unlock rewards that range from instant treats to entry into a draw for an all-expenses-paid family escape to JA Manafaru in the Maldives.
