Govee's New Floor Lamps Are Made To Light Up The Quietest Corners
Govee is expanding its smart home lineup with the launch of three new floor lamps. They're focused on bringing life to the most overlooked spaces in a home, including the ceiling and corners. Govee's new lamp lineup includes the Uplighter Floor Lamp, the Torchiere Floor Lamp and the Tree Floor Lamp, each made to suit different moods and room needs.
The company is pushing its third-generation floor lamp series as a blend of practicality and ambiance, combining RGB lighting with functional smarts. All three lamps come with support for Alexa, Google Assistant, and Matter, and can be controlled via the Govee Home app.
Govee Uplighter Floor Lamp
Govee Uplighter Floor Lamp
At the top of the lineup is the $180 3-in-1 Govee Uplighter Floor Lamp. It fuses three distinct lighting elements into a single vertical body.
The top section features a ripple projection effect that simulates moonlight with warm and cool white lighting, washing ceilings with ambient glow across up to 20 square meters. The middle section uses RGBIC beads for customizable decorative effects, and the base emits up to 1,000 lumens of tunable white light for reading or task lighting.
It is designed to support circadian rhythm lighting via Govee's 'Auto Run' feature, adjusting color temperature and brightness throughout the day. The Uplighter Floor Lamp supports 80 scene mode presets, a DIY mode, music sync, and DreamView integration, making it one of the most versatile floor lamps.
Govee Torchiere Floor Lamp
Govee Torchiere Floor Lamp
The $150 Govee Torchiere Floor Lamp focuses on ceiling-oriented ambient lighting. It features a triple-zone color control that allows for seamless gradient effects and a rainbow-like glow, thanks to the brand's LuminBlend tech. Torchiere's curved lens design offers smooth blending between the zones without harsh edges or dark spots. It is tuned for cozy corners of bedrooms or living rooms and lounges with brightness reaching up to 780 lumens and stepless color temperature control (2700K–6500K).
Like its siblings, the Torchiere Floor Lamp supports hands-free voice commands and app-based customization. A built-in mic and six sound-reactive music modes, combined with support for Govee's Music DreamView ecosystem, make it a solid floor lamp for mood-based lighting.
Govee Tree Floor Lamp

Sitting between the two is the $170 Govee Tree Floor Lamp. It is designed for expressive spaces and features three independently rotatable and tiltable arms, which offer artistic lighting. Each lamp head can be adjusted between 30° and 90°, with 350° horizontal rotation, and is individually controlled for customized effects.
I love how it accentuates plants and provides an ambient wall-wash on my photo wall. On paper, it's the brightest of the three, with up to 1,500 lumens of output (500 lumens from each module). The Tree Floor Lamp supprts 64 preset modes, and stepless temperature adjustment.
All three lamps are available now through Govee's official website and Amazon, adding to an already extensive floor lamp portfolio that includes the Govee Floor Lamp 2, Floor Lamp Pro, and the more affordable Floor Lamp Basic.

While they're often seen used by creative types on YouTube and Twitch, it's not just gamers and content creators who can benefit from them. In fact, we'd wager that a lot of people would get a little bit more joy in their life by using these kinds of lights. Govee is one of the best in the business when it comes to smart lights, offering a huge range of options, but the strip lights can be seen as the staple for many. 100-feet is an awful lot, and should be more than enough to light up hallways, doorways, special bits of furniture, or just really focus on one specific room. This particular one comes with two 50-feet strips. You can install them as you like, and then gain amazing control over the colors using the app, which lets you set different sections as different colors, have them change regularly, or even sync to the music you've got playing. You can even control them with your voice, if you've got a smart assistant in your home, which'll have you feeling like you're living in the future. They're just a great pick up to improve the vibes in any home. It's easy to see why these strips would normally set you back $73, but that's not what you'll pay if you pick them up right now. The chance to buy them for just $44 won't last forever though, so if these are something you want to buy, make sure you get on this quickly. See at Amazon

This Item Can Help You Stay Ahead Of A Home Disaster
According to national statistics from 2023, one in 50 insured homes files a water damage claim each year and the average cost of a water damage claim is $10,000. Water damage isn't only costly; it can also ruin precious personal possessions. Currently, there are no requirements for homes to have any sort of water sensor — which means it's up to you to protect your house from this type of disaster on your own. Fortunately, it doesn't have to be costly. More than 9,000 Amazon shoppers have bought and given a 5-star rating to the Govee Wi-Fi water sensor, which has a starting cost of under $30 — certainly a far cry from the cost of water damage. Plus, you can clip the on-page coupon for a discount applied at checkout. Here's how it works: First, you download the Govee water sensor app. Then, you plug the gateway into an outlet and place the sensors around your house. For example, you may choose to put sensors in the basement, bathrooms, laundry room, under the kitchen sink or in your garage. After the gateway is paired to your Wi-Fi and you're all set up in the app, you're good to go. Any time one of the sensors detects any water, it will sound an alert and a notification will also pop up on your phone as well as in your email. That way, you'll know if a leak occurred even if you aren't home. Here's what else is cool: You'll be able to see through the app which sensor went off so you know where the leak is occurring. Being able to identify a leak as soon as possible (whether it's from heavy rain, a burst pipe or a leaking appliance) means you can take action before your home and belongings are ruined. Especially if you live in an area prone to flooding, having this sensor will allow you to leave town without worrying if your home is okay; you'll be able to monitor it using the app. Still not convinced you need one? Check out these reviews from people who bought the Govee water sensor: Get it from Amazon for $29.99+ (available with one, two, or three sensors).
