Coronation Street's Charlie Lawson, 64, reveals something has 'gone seriously wrong' after he was rushed to hospital
The actor, 65, who is best known for his role as Jim McDonald - took to social media to reveal that he was struggling to walk after he fell over twice.
He confessed he was in 'great pain' and can no long stand on his tip toes.
Speaking in a video posted to X, he said: 'Well hello folks, from a rather, erm, well I'm not sure what it's doing outside to be honest with you.
'It was rather nice when I came in, but here I am again in special day care in Macclesfield hospital waiting to see an osteopath and hopefully getting a transfer to Salford Royal to the spinal unit.
'That's the plan, but I was talking to you last time from the same cubicle and I ended up back at home at half ten at night so we shall wait and see.

'I'm fine, I just simply can't walk properly. I'm in great pain, and I can't stand on my tiptoes now so this is very comfortable [in the bed] but if I stand up I just fall over so there's something seriously gone wrong. So, I'll keep you posted. Cheerio now!'
Alongside the clip, he penned 'Encore une fois!!!' which is French for 'once again, one more time'.
The soap legend previously told fans that he had undergone an MRI scan and was waiting to hear back from a spinal surgeon after seeking medical attention the first time round.
First revealing his health problems on Wednesday, Charlie took to the social media platform to announce he was sent to the hospital after a physio therapy appointment.
He said: 'Hi folks, went to physio this morning and she sent me straight to A&E, which I did. They examined me. I have an MRI scan and I'm sitting waiting for the results.
'They've whisked me back in for more examinations so it's not going awfully well at the moment. Anyway, I'll keep you updated. They put a wristband on me and all sorts of craic. I've fallen over twice, so something going wrong down there.'
Charlie - who married his long-time love Debbie Stanley in 2023 - also told one concerned fan that he was waiting to hear from the spinal surgeon.
He wrote: 'Thanks darling, awaiting the opinion of the spinal surgeon. Xxx (sic)'

Last year, Charlie admitted he doesn't ever envisage being invited back to 'Corrie' to reprise his role as Jim, who he last portrayed in 2018.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper at the time: 'It wouldn't shock me if he dies in Australia. I think it would be a terrible waste of a character, and I would stand up and have a pint and salute to him.
'But I wouldn't be broken-hearted because I've been back seven or eight times, for Christ's sake, since 2001 that's pretty damn good as it's 2024.
'Now I haven't been back since 2018 but the whole world has changed since then into a crazy woke sort of... it's all changed.
'I'm not quite sure how Jim would react to 24 genders in Weatherfield. I suspect he would probably - if the writers had the courage - I suspect he would probably say that that was nonsense.'
Jim was famously married to former Rovers Return landlady Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard), but their relationship was tested by alcoholism and infidelity.
They divorced in 1997 after Liz had been unfaithful to him, and they remarried in 2000, but Jim was later imprisoned for the manslaughter of drug dealer Jez Quigley (Lee Boardman), who had previously beaten his son Steve (Simon Gregson) up over a job.
Liz divorced Jim for a second time during his prison sentence, and in 2011 he tried to win her back by robbing a bank. But he was put behind bars again.
In 2018, Jim returned to the series with a young woman called Hannah Gilmore (Hannah Ellis Ryan), whom he falsely claimed was his and Liz's long-lost daughter Katie.
However, Hannah was actually Jim's girlfriend, and the pair were later arrested for a money-making scam when the truth emerged.

Great British Bake Off is gearing up for its return - but one familiar face is noticeably absent from its brand-new trailer. France ‘wanted its citizens to see Bayeux Tapestry for free at British Museum'
France reportedly demanded that its citizens be allowed to see the Bayeux Tapestry for free or at a discount when it goes on display at the British Museum next year. Last month, The Telegraph revealed that a deal had been reached for the 900-year-old textile artwork depicting the Norman Conquest of 1066 to be loaned to the British Museum French officials lobbied for their compatriots to be allowed to visit the London display for free, according to the Financial Times, but officials close to negotiations thought the idea was a 'try-on' and 'never going to happen'. French museums do not typically provide free entry in France itself. In return for the tapestry, George Osborne, the British Museum chairman, agreed to loan the Anglo-Saxon treasures of the Sutton Hoo burial, and the medieval Lewis Chessmen. French officials are said to have initially wanted to borrow the Rosetta Stone, arguably the most popular item in the British Museum's collection. The museum did not wish to part with the 2,100-year-old Ancient Egyptian artefact, and this idea fell by the wayside. The Rosetta Stone was discovered by French forces in 1799 during Napoleon's campaign in Egypt. It was being used by the local population to bolster a wall. The stone was seized by the British, at war with France at the time. Its inscription, deciphered by Jean-François Champollion, a French orientalist, showed scholars how to read Ancient Egyptian texts. The stone may have fitted with Emmanuel Macron's plans for the Bayeux Tapestry exchange, which is intended to demonstrate the bonds between Britain and France and a new spirit of co-operation. The tapestry is likely to bring in crowds comparable to the most popular shows in the British Museum 's history, which drew hundreds of thousands of visitors. A British Museum spokesman said: 'As our chairman George Osborne has said, this will be the blockbuster show of our generation. This is an object of such historical significance for the UK that we want as many people as possible to have the chance to see it.' The deal on the tapestry, which is to be moved next year, came after plans first announced in 2018 by Theresa May, the prime minister at the time. She hoped to secure a loan for the tapestry, but this was repeatedly put off because of concerns over the delicate condition of the embroidery and the risk of moving it.

The former talk show host, 63, has been taking the drug since late 2022, yet remains in disbelief over how far she has come. In her latest Instagram post, Rosie revealed she is now a size 12 - and praised the drug as a 'life saver'. 'But [the weight loss] is also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don't have a chef now. It's me cooking for [my child] Clay and me.' The TV personality then recalled how she went to a clothing store in Dublin and revealed she was a size large after previously wearing sizes XL or XXL. 'I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking,' the mom-of-five expressed. Being on Mounjaro has not only aided her in losing weight, but has made her feel 'healthier' and she is also 'sleeping better.' Back in January 2023, Rosie revealed she had been prescribed the medication and credited it with helping her drop 10 pounds during the holiday season. While taking her child to school, the star explained on TikTok: 'I need to let you know I've lost 10lbs since Christmas.' She added that she had been taking Mounjaro after a fan commented, 'You can't drop a bomb like that and not tell us HOW???' Rosie stated, 'Okay, so like two months ago, my doctor put me on... not Ozempic, Mounjaro? Something like that, and Repath.' She added, 'One I do every other week, and one I do once a week. And that and on Christmas, I stopped drinking anything except water.
