The team announced their five-game schedule Tuesday ahead of 2025-26 season, with its two 'home' games being played in Greensboro and North Charleston, South Carolina, due to renovations at the Spectrum Center. In the latest example of why that's the right move, professionals from different sports have shouted him out. Professional golfer Talor Gooch took time out of his performance at an Indiana LIV Golf Tournament to wear Gilgeous-Alexander's 2024-25 City Edition jersey. The Oklahoma State alumn has made his Thunder fandom known for years. He grew up in Oklahoma. As you can imagine, the Indiana crowd booed him as he went on to par the hole. The Thunder crushed the Indiana Pacers fans' dreams when they won Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals to bring home the Larry O'Brien trophy. A few hours later, Gilgeous-Alexander shouted out Gooch for the troll job. It was a good move to go with his goal to upset the crowd. The professional golfer is known for leaning into the villain gimmick at times. This was the latest example of that.

ESPN unveils ceiling, floor predictions for 49ers in 2025 season
After plummeting to the NFC West cellar with a 6-11 finish in 2024, San Francisco is eyeing a bounce-back season toward title contention. Though 2024 went haywire in a hurry, the 49ers are just one season removed from a Super Bowl trip. San Francisco reloaded with 11 2025 NFL draft picks, including their first five choices on the defensive side of the football. The 49ers need several of their key offensive skill pieces to get healthy, but the return of running back Christian McCaffrey should help San Francisco rebound toward its heights as the No. 3 scoring offense in 2023. How big of a bounce-back can the 49ers author in 2025, though? ESPN took a look at each team's 2025 floor and ceiling. According to ESPN's Nick Wagoner, the 49ers floor is 7-10 and its ceiling is 12-5. ESPN cited its youth movement as the 49ers' biggest 2025 X-factor. Can the many young players the 49ers are counting on take a step forward and produce quickly? The Niners said goodbye to nearly 20 players via free agency, release or trade, and they didn't spend much on signing outside players to fill those gaps. Instead, the Niners are counting on an 11-player draft class and plenty of other young veterans to become full-time starters or key reserves. San Francisco is banking on star-level production from its elite players, but it could easily have as many as seven first- or second-year players starting on defense.
